A wonderful tribute to the original film. It keeps the charm and warmth of the original, while respectfully not trying to replicate first film. Instead, this sequel pays homage to the first with reverence and nostalgia, in the finest ways.

Fantastic. A true sequel to the original. There are tons of subtle call outs to the original. This needs to air with every marathon. If you loved the original for what it was, you will love the sequel. It's a movie for everyone, modernity hasn't tainted it, politics hasn't tainted it, it'sFantastic. A true sequel to the original. A Christmas Story was lightning in a bottle. A Christmas Story Christmas is a faded photograph of the memory of that lightning in a bottle. Watch it once for the experience and enjoy the familiar faces and see how they've grown. 6.5/10 rounded up to a 7/10.

This can never top the original there’s much I can say makes not like this movie sequel at all release 39 years after the original I’m going to list one thing one scene that doesn’t make any sense when she gets hurt by slipping on ice and she injured her foot in a scene where she her foot had not healed yet She’s snowball fight with her family she’s able to move around just fine despite her leg not healing yet that makes no sense.… Expand
