Simply put, UFC is the most realistic fighting game ever. [Apr 2002, p.68]
  2. An excellent, original fighting game that's especially fun for two players.
  3. The fighters are scary-real looking, and they animate without hiccups and with perfect transitions. Facial expressions are also top notch.
  4. 80
Despite these imperfections, though, UFC: Tapout still reigns victorious.
  5. Within two hours we beat every Championship mode, and made it through ten of the arcade matches, where we were quickly squashed by the cheap AI. It's a shame, because we were having so much playing up until that point.
  6. Play Magazine
    60
I can't tell how totally creeped out I am by a select screen covered with near naked men so real looking you can see their pit hair, who all look like they're a Skoal can away from a Springer episode. [Apr 2002, p.63]
  7. On one hand, it’s got quite a good structure and the technical style is impressive, but on the other it’s just not fun to play.
