It's not going to change your life, but it will definitely make you smile. [Dec 2002, p.268]
  2. Xbox Nation Magazine
    70
Easily beaten, Mission to Earth provides no real sense of accomplishment or finality. [Winter 2002, p.94]
  3. It simply can't compete with the genius of its many competitors, particularly the Sony first party efforts of late.
  4. Whilst extremely generic, it offers huge amounts of fun for the first few hours. Get past that however, and you soon realise that beneath the low brow gags and goofy gifts, there’s not a lot left to make it stand out from the crowd.
  5. The repetitive and monotonous action just simply doesn’t cut it by today standards, whilst hardcore fans might even find themselves let down by the overall production.
  6. The primary gameplay is fun, a very creative and enjoyable diversion, but it doesn't go anywhere. It simply doesn't lend itself to a continuously evolving experience.
  7. This is one wacky world the developers have created, and it perfectly captures the original title’s sense of humor, irreverence, and addictive fun.

Doesn't have enough depth and substance to be great. If you don't like its faux hip-hop style then you won't even find it good.
  9. Entertainment Weekly

Loaded with risque puns and kid-friendly hip-hop slang, TJ&E is fun - but forgettable fun. [1 Nov 2002, p.77]
  10. 63
Soporific. There is too much repetition and not enough excitement.

It's almost embarrassing how behind the times this series has fallen. [Nov 2002, p.137]

One of those games which you'll find to be a great laugh or a shallow bore. With not much to the gameplay in terms of variation, things can quickly get tedious.
  13. Just isn't very much fun... There's no zen underneath the zaniness, no pith under the perkiness, and no meat beneath the mirth.
  14. Released years after either of its predecessors, in turn borrows elements from both games but combines them in a way that, quite simply, isn't very fun at all.
  15. If you enjoy the first few levels and the repetitiveness of the gameplay and the jokes keep you laughing, you might enjoy the whole thing.

Earls delicate movements have given me ASMR ever since I was a little kid. The diversity that Latisha brings to the game is marvelous. For years and years we have waited for blue aliens to get more representation and now we finally got it. This game is purely incredible. Full Review »

I think Toe Jam and Earl 3 is really cool because it's funny, creative and original.
