    O jogo tem uma ambientação bem legal e com essas transições de mundo que te dão uma melhor imersão,esse estilo de câmera que remete aos jogos dos anos 90 é um prato cheio para pessoas que já tiveram a experiência de joga-los,a trilha sonora é bem legal nada à se falar mal dela e uma coisa que eu gostei bastante é eles saberem o momento de te assustar sem precisar de exageros

Una atmósfera cargante y sobrecogedora, una banda sonora melancólica y agonizante, un apartado gráfico brillante y un guión y giros que no hacen que te despegues de la consola, ha d de este the medium una pequeña obra maestra que viendo cómo ha salido, con un equipo pequeño y un presupuesto comedido, te hace reflexionar lo que serían capaces de crear con un equipo grande y un presupuesto triple A.     Un jeu très bon. La musique et l'ambiance sont vraiment très bonnes.
    L'ambiance est vraiment particulière et cette idée de 2 mondes superposés en simultané est une bonne trouvaille.
    Il y a un vrai boulot sur la direction artistique. Ca reste un jeu de niche mais aimant ce style, je trouve le jeu vraiment bon et j'ai prit beaucoup de plaisir à y jouer et suivre cette histoire vraiment    Un jeu très bon. La musique et l'ambiance sont vraiment très bonnes.

The dual result mechanics give way to superb puzzles and interesting sequences. The game steers away from cheap Jumpscares and prefers to give way to great atmosphere and tension. The soundtrack is simply excellent, moreA great story with an unexpected, thrilling ending. The medium is as advertised, the delivered on a great story, one that starts out slow while you adjust to the game and how it works and starts to thicken its plot with each new experience. The pacing and cinematic direction are great, the art style is absolutely its standout feature. (This all going off with acceptance that its a set camera game with essentially no combat) which is fine because its advertised as such, silent hill fans will get to its that scratch! The reason its not a 10/10 is because they could have leaned into puzzles and combat a bit more, and it was a bit lack luster compared to big AAA games, but amazing for what it is!     Great game, great story, amazing music. Bloober team has grown a lot. Piccolo capolavoro. Horror old school, con telecamera semi fissa. Bisogna abituarsi se si è nuovi al genere, ma non è assolutamente un difetto. No jumpscare, tutto passa tramite ambientazione e musiche. Menzione d'onore alla colonna sonora :superba.     El juego es muy bueno, tanto en su temática, como en implementar algo nuevo, una historia atrapante, que si bien no esta a la altura de los silent hill, es muy buena, sus mecánicas de juego son algo a lo clásico, lo cual me gustó mucho. Muy buen juego, recomendado 10/10

    I haven't fully beaten the game yet but what i have played do far is rather intense great puzzle solving and jump scare moments. Im not one to get those jump scares but this game caught me a couple of times so far

    Excellent story and graphics. Gameplay is decent for this kind of games, but sound design was phenomenal. Even some technical issues like occasional stutter and frame drops didn’t hurt the overall experiance. Great work Bloober team!

    If you are a casual gamer, than maybe you should check out some Videos first. This game looks like a Dream come true but plays like an old Survival Horror game from the 90's. It starts slow but gets better and better. It has some realy disturbing moments and a real good story and good puzzle solving. I had around 10hours for the playthrough and never used a walkthrough. 10 Hours is longIf you are a casual gamer, than maybe you should check out some Videos first. This game looks like a Dream come true but plays like an old Survival Horror game from the 90's. It starts slow but gets better and better. It has some realy disturbing moments and a real good story and good puzzle solving. I had around 10hours for the playthrough and never used a walkthrough. 10 Hours is long for a 90's Horror Game when you keep in Mind that the first RE had around 4hours gameplay so its enough and it doesn't streches the gameplay to get boring. I also loved to see the return of the fix camera it just makes the game much more intense. Play it if you got the chance!… Expand

    This is a game CLEARLY made with passion and love. The story is awesome. The writing and voice acting is wonderful. The implementation of the protagonist's "split" is super rad. Seriously, the way you simultaneously interact with two different worlds is refreshingly unique. One of the coolest aspects of the dual screen was seeing the same scene    I HIGHLY recommend playing The Medium.

    The story is awesome. The writing and voice acting is wonderful. The implementation of the protagonist's "split" is super rad. Seriously, the way you simultaneously interact with two different worlds is refreshingly unique. One of the coolest aspects of the dual screen was seeing the same scene play out from different angles, with differing emphasis on the environmental details and characters within each screen during cutscenes. Freaking brilliant.

    A father with medium ability get married and has two daughters, both succeed the ability of father’s, and sovit official knows this and tried to take advantage of it by burning his house, but two daughters stuck in the house, one tried to help the other and deal with demon, so released the demon within. This is also what I refer from others. The end besides the lake is some like COD cold war the end, picture black, gun shot, drop into lake, leaving some imaging space, maybe a sequel folders has setup.     … Expand

Una decepción grande, se dice que es el mejor juego de Bloober, pero en nada se le arrima a the observer, es mas tirado a la bruja de blair, cansino, hasta al punto de ser aburrido, una historia muy pobre, una narrativa sin gracia, lo salva en algo la musica del maestro Yamaoka, ok, vamos al asunto, graficos, parece juego de 360, cayendo en muchasLa verdad que se uede decir de este juego? Humor de disney o marvel?, jugabilidad, el mismo tanque de los re de psx, no es que me afecte mucho pero a estas alturas de la vida no puedes traer mecanicas viejas sin mejorarlas, en resumen, un juego que quizo pero no pudo, a los usuarios de xbox que blasfemaron compatandolo con silent hill, haganse ver por favor la cabeza y dejen de hablar con el fanatismo, este juego es mas una caricatura de nikelodeon que un silemt hill hay que lavarse la boca antes de mencionar ese nombre, mi nota va por haberlo jugado en pc con una 2080ti asi q si con eso no puedo dar mejor critica en lo grafico con trajetas mayores no me imagino, el juego defraudo en todo aspecto lastimosamente.

    Pdta: para los que dicen que el juego es innovador por tener dos pantallas al mismo tiempo, el tema del mundo doble ya lo hacia un juego hace mas de 20 años el Soul Reaver, no vengan a profetizar grandes invenciones cuando un juego de psx ya lo hacia hace 20 años y con hardware arcaico, ni tampoco a decir que es el sucesor de Silent Hill cuando ni al Downpoor se le asemeja.

    The game is very good, it has a very intriguing story with a bit of horror. Here you will not find a Resident Evil full of bullets but an essence of Silent Hill. The game tends to be a bit addicting if you like the genre. It has the odd technical flaw but it has beautiful graphics for your small budget. I hope to see The Medium 2. Thanks Bloober Team.

    Me gustó! Me sorprendió para bien el juego en general la verdad , cuando lo vi en los primeros trailers me dio muy mala espina la verdad ... Una vez empiezas a jugar te engancha y sin tener que pegar un tiro a nada te hace pasar muy buenos ratos .

    Um jogo que te prende e supera as suas expectativas inicias (negativas). Logo de inicio o jogo desperta uma certa estranheza por conta de sua mecânica na movimentação de seu personagem, o qual se assemelha muito as franquias de jogos antigos do mesmo gênero, inicialmente isso é um ponto negativo, porém, aos poucos você vai se envolvendo com a história do jogo, e isso acaba extinguindo essaUm jogo que te prende e supera as suas expectativas inicias (negativas). Logo de inicio o jogo desperta uma certa estranheza por conta de sua mecânica na movimentação de seu personagem, o qual se assemelha muito as franquias de jogos antigos do mesmo gênero, inicialmente isso é um ponto negativo, porém, aos poucos você vai se envolvendo com a história do jogo, e isso acaba extinguindo essa dificuldade de "aceitação" com a sua mecânica (isso também vai para a ideia de jogar entre dois mundos, eu terminei o jogo achando essa implementação de jogar entre os dois mundos como algo fantástico, algo que eu não achava inicialmente). Agora vamos para o ponto negativo: Falta otimização, durante o jogo você percebe erros de renderização, quedas de frames em alguns cenários, e as vezes aparece pequenas partículas coloridas durante o jogo (não com tanta frequência quanto os dois primeiros itens citados), no geral, um polimento faria bem para o The Medium. Esse jogo merece uma nota 85~87, não é excelente, porém não é horrível como alguns comentaram por aqui, apesar de seus pontos negativos, não merece nota negativa e muito menos nota zero.… Expand

    You play as Marianne, who has the ability to travel into another dimension. She is given a mysterious message and ends up investigating an abandoned resort. Other than being somewhat short, the story doesn't have a lot going for it. Things happen without much explanation and I was never able to connect with any of the characters.

    The game also uses a technology that allows you to see two dimensions at once using a split screen. While I read somewhere that this is groundbreaking technology, it just feels gimmicky and unnecessary. It does show you how silly the protagonist looks talking to the air in the real world. But they easily could have done without it.

    For the most part, the puzzles and levels are pretty bland. There is one level in the Red House toward the end that was done very well, but the rest are very forgettable.

    Slow running is also a real problem for me in video games. I see the reason for it in a horror-type game, but it was still irritating none the less.

    Overall, not a recommendation. Better to play the older Silent Hill or Resident Evil games instead.    … Expand

Simplemente felicitar a Bloober Team por este juegazo. Una pena lo del Review Bombing por parte de los sonyers, pero bueno es normal por parte de estas ratitas, por suerte ya nadie cree esas review de gente queUn juego excelente, apartado grafico espectacular, buena historia, gran ambientación, innovador lo de los mundos.     By far the best game ever released by Bloober team. Great and emotional story with opressing atmosphere. Good graphics, great voice acting and simple but clever puzzles. Overall a great experience and a must play for those who have game pass.

    To be honest I don't expect anything from Microsoft (The quality of the games has gone down a lot) The first hours starts well, but then you start to get bored a lot. The soundtrack I loved, the game mechanics are limited, the camera is very problematic, level of detail (Basic), Graphics (Basic) and History (Boring). I DO NOT RECOMMEND

    Its a very, very adult title. Its not really scary or anything, but it tells you stories in a way which is not easy to digest. Definetly recommend it to anyone on GamePass.

    Hearkens back to the 3rd person horror of the late 90s-early 2000s (like Silent Hill 1/2/3/4) but The Medium also manages to find it's own niche and is successful in doing so.

Uncovering what lies at the heart of this tragedy is what kept me going. It’s a shame that reviews from both users and journos completely ignore just how good the story is.     here you play as a medium, you get a call, you go to this creepy hotel to investigate the call, and things don’t get normal from there… reviewing this game was a roller coaster of feelings, as the medim is a roller coaster of quality.. the cutscenes are great, the voice acting, the chracters, the story, all amazing, but the game itself feels really dated, tons of texture pop ins, the game will chug along at times, and overall marianne feels super awkward to control, the cameras, the movements, everything to remind you that despite the acting and cutscenes =, this is indeed not a AAA title, it feels big budget indie, which is fine especially in the hands of bloober team, they are great at creeping you out and building intriguing environments.
    As a medium you can go back and forth between your world and the spirit world, and you get to see both sides at a time, going back and forth to find items or interact with objecst to solve a puzzle or open up an area for the other, it really is a fun little back and forth puzzle game from time to time. However the execution isn’t quite the most enjoyable.. infact overall, The medium is probably one of the least enjoyable horror games ive played in a while, its slow and tedious, these sections while theyre a cool idea, never do anything fresh with it, youre basically doing the alive or dead version of everything you’ve done in horror games before but in accordion from.. Im over dead ends and fixing fuse boxes and finding valves… can horror games come up with literally anything else to do than find the things that’s missing….
    Im so over this type of gameplay, im over being in the same areas for 10-20 minutes just clicking on stuff until I find a missing lever, its boring, borderline painful after a while, and really makes your game feel like a chore.
    Please give me something new, the indie games industry pumps out 20 of these games every year.
    I don’t mind it every once in a while, but when that’s the main hook of your game, I cant.. And with the medium lasting about 6 and a half hours, it feels twice that long with how slow paced it is…
    But ultimately The Medium is saved by its cast of characters and story, I had to see where this was all going, even if it felt like it was going nowhere, enjoy this hotel for the rest of your life.

    Lo esperé con mucha ansia hasta que salió en el Game Pass. Tenía mucho hype, pero al acabarlo me quedé a medias. Aunque gráficamente llama la atención, las mecánicas son muy simples y la historia es mediocre.

    Jogo com proposta diferenciada, que realmente tem uma história densa que nos faz refletir. A parte técnica é um espetáculo, ter dois mundos renderizados ao mesmo tempo, além dos puzzles serem muito bons...caramba! Parabéns a Bloober Team por fazer um excelente game! Eu adorei!     Although I've played all of bloober teams since layers of fear I haven't been a big fan of their work. Generally I find their games get a little repetitive after a while and I encounter issues like annoying chase scenes.

The camera angles are a work of art. It takes control away from the games and makes you vulnerable at times. In this chilling and mysterious journey, you explore an abandoned resort to learn not only what caused the massacre in the past, but also the lost memories of your own past. Along the way you encounter spirits, demons, and so much more as you try to solve the mysteries of the world and survive it's horrors. WhatThe Medium is without a doubt one of the best horror games I've ever played. In this chilling and mysterious journey, you explore an abandoned resort to learn not only what caused the massacre in the past, but also the lost memories of your own past. Along the way you encounter spirits, demons, and so much more as you try to solve the mysteries of the world and survive it's horrors. What makes this game unique is the screen often splits into two as you're playing allowing you to control Marianne in both the real world and the purgatory-like world, which adds a very unique element unlike any game I've ever played. The music in this game, created by the Silent Hill composer, is also absolutely wonderful and really helps carry the journey from beginning to end. If I have only one complaint it's that the character models sometimes load a little oddly which can really break immersion, but this is a minor gripe of a beautiful game. With compelling puzzles, heart-racing survival moments, and so many mysteries the game was nearly impossible to put down, this game is an absolute must for anyone who enjoys a good physiological horror.… Expand

    I'm not good with horror games but wanted to give this a try and can say that it's a very good game. It's very immersive, the gameplay and soundtrack are excellent. The split screen feature is very fun and strange but the whole game stays immersive and cinematic no matter what happens. The character movement can be a bit rough at times but it's doesn't distract you from the game.

    El Juego es una Propuesta muy Original Con una Narrativa Excelente y no entiendo como no se habla más y mejor de el.
    100% Recomendado , he de decir que no esperaba nada de él y me tiene enganchado.
    Jugado en una Xbox Series X en un LG SM 9800 de 55" y terminada la historia principal.

    Despite clunky animations, repetitive gameplay and some technical issues with the Xbox Series X version, I completed The Medium twice. Its dual-reality design, art direction and brilliant soundtrack often made me stop to take in a view or relish the music. Its mature story and atmosphere reminiscent of Silent Hill helped a lot too.
