    I give this game a 10 because of plot, soundtrack, and, especially of it’s ending (I was really impressed) and the very main reason i rate this high is todays lack of single player games. And Medium is an atmospheric, nice game! Low budget production and Blooperteam inexperience explains cons like sometimes flawed game design (staged runs from the Beast) archaic gameplay elements (remindsI give this game a 10 because of plot, soundtrack, and, especially of it’s ending (I was really impressed) and the very main reason i rate this high is todays lack of single player games. And Medium is an atmospheric, nice game! Low budget production and Blooperteam inexperience explains cons like sometimes flawed game design (staged runs from the Beast) archaic gameplay elements (reminds of Syberia which was released about 20 years ago!). Otherwise there are numbers of cool/wow episodes, great acting, amazing picture quality (with so-so optimisation on XSX). I really liked split/screen mixing through the game, it feels perfectly balanced to me. In conclusion, Medium is an awesome game! I have high hopes for the developers team and their next release.… Expand

    The Medium was a blessing in disguise. The story and score of this game is amazing. I loved every minute of it and fell in love with the main character Marianne. The entire playthrough I just kept wanting more of this captivating story. Thanks Bloober Team.

    a good game that is being beaten by a certain gamer sector, although the game is not perfect and has its flaws, it is a game that complies with generating horror and with an interesting plot. In the playable it is reminiscent of classics such as silent hill and resident evil.

    amazing game honestly. if you are looking for braindead action gameplay this aint for you buddy, however if you are looking for a fntastic story driven, atmospheric thriller this is righ up your street.
    Being given bad reviews by ppl that just quite aren't intellegent enough to ply the game, but trust me unless you are alos braindead you will love this.

    I'm loving this game more than I thought I would. It's different and not very action oriented. It's more of a story based puzzle game. The graphics are phenomenal, the sound design is phenomenal, its overall just an amazing world I really want to drive into to uncover the mysteries that lay before me.     Ótimo RPG horror com pegada Old School, mas com uma trama e recursos visuais mais modernos. A única coisa que poderia ser melhor é a animação dos personagens, poderia ser no nível do Man of Medan, o olhar de peixe morto da protagonista as vezes é perturbador.

    Un increíble juego con una grandísima narrativa. Ojo, no es de terror.
    Pros: Es maravilloso el jugar en ambos mundos simultáneos. tiene unos escenarios muy bonitos y que te sumergen al lugar. La banda sonora es muy buena. Gratis con gamepass o por 40€

    I think I'm half way through the game and all I can say is that wow, it's been a long time since I've been so involved in a story, I'm really glad there is a game like this, the only bad thing is its optimization, I play it on Xbox Series S, other than that, excellent.

    The gameplay has its ups (most puzzle or story scenes with the protagonist), and downs (some action scenes, some scenes with Thomas), but overall it's a well delivered story.
    The multiple points of view give a very unique combination of cinematic feeling and presence. There are sometimes 3    A game with the ambience and music of a Silent Hill, but actually playable? I was immediately sold.

    The game is not a 10/10 but I'll give it one since the game deserves better than its current review status (wouldn't be surprised if some Playstation Fans made a metacritic account, just to give it a 0/10).
    I've been playing this game for about 6-7 hours now and I really like it.     Very disappointed. The game is a bad copy of other good kinds of game. The first 10 minutes are very good but after that it gets boring and slow. The one point is for the good story only.

    Loved the story of this game, maybe not a game for hardcore horror people because dispate having some heavy stress scenes they are not long and thats why for me it was perfect because if its to much i get to anxious. Im not a horror game person bit i am a big story telling person thats why i love this game also love puzzle solving.

Optar pelo sistema de câmera semi fixa tbm remete à uma nostalgia dos tempos dourados onde games como silent Hill, clock tower, City of lost childrens e resident evil code verônica eram supremos no estilo    Parabéns ao time de desenvolvimento do game.

    Cenários que carregam na velocidade da luz ao entrar num espelho, jogar com os dois mundos ao mesmo tempo, ou controlando apenas o espiritual.
    É tudo tão mágico, inovador e incrível.
    Mostra o quanto essa nova geração tem potencial, em ambos consoles.
    A gameplay n é perfeita, tropeçando em um level design nada intuitivo as vezes e até cenários bem monótonos, mas é a minoria, a maior parte do jogo funciona muito bem.
    A narrativa se perde e tropeça em si mesma diversas vezes, querendo complicar dms onde não deveria, MAS, ela é td menos clichê.
    A história contata aqui é intrigante, misteriosa e termina com um final INACREDITÁVEL de foda que só quem jogou/assistiu vai saber pq ele é tão bom.
    Performance:
    Uma merda, n sei se por engine ou por falta de experiência do estúdio com o console.
    Gráficos:
    O jogo é bem bonito, mas nada demais.
    Destaque pro mundo dos espíritos em cutscenes que é um show a parte e pras transições dos espelhos.
    Sobre a duração?
    Perfeita.
    É um jogo de suspense e puzzle que se fosse maior do que as 8-10 hrs, ficaria maçante e entediante.
    Ele custa 45 dólares, além de estar no Gamepass, e eu definitivamente gostei mais dele do que do Miles Morales que é mais curto e custa 50 dólares.
    Ahhhh e não posso esquecer de falar sobre um dos melhores pontos do jogo:
    Akira Yamaoka.
    O lendário compositor de Silent Hill é o responsável pela trilha sonora ao lado de Arkadiusz Reikowski e que trilha sonora.
    Com ctz ao fim de 2021 ela estará entre minhas preferidas do ano.

    Estou muito satisfeito em poder jogar The Medium. Não só fã do gênero, mas esse jogo me cativou e me atraiu bastante. A história contada é excelente. A trilha sonora é espetacular. A jogabilidade é simples, porém muito funcional. Essa mecânica de tela dividida entre 2 mundos achei muito boa. Parabéns a Boolber Team.

    Some parts of the gameplay somehow reminded me of Silent Hill, others - Resident Evil. A static camera adds its charm to the game, but sometimes you just want to twist this camera a little. It also filtered out many players who were not familiar with the early parts of Resident Evil and Silent Hill.

    In its horror part, it may seem to many that the game pumped up. There are no traditional jumpscares here (almost), and most of the game you are not in danger. However, you need to understand that this is a psychological horror, and the game copes with this perfectly. As you progress through, more and more frightening details become clear, and these details frighten not with some kind of mysticism, but with the fact that all this is real emotions and behavior of people, and many of these things exist in the real world.

    The artstyle, soundtrack and sound design in this game are great, and perfectly underline the atmosphere of what is happening in the game.

    All in all, it's a very, very decent game that definitely deserves to be given a chance.    … Expand

    No es Silent Hill, pero tiene su propia alma, no se por que lo vendieron como su representación. Me encanta por lo único que es. Vamos, que no es un juego de 10, pero es un buen juego que yo personalmente lo recomiendo.
    Es intrigante, absorbente, te mantiene alerta todo el tiempo, el sonido es excelso. De pega pondría algunas animaciones del personaje. Pero del resto muy recomendado!.

Grafica spettacolare (soprattutto le ambientazioni), gameplay assolutamente unico e innovativo, storia complicata e per nulla scontata che ti tiene attaccato fino all'ultimo secondo allo schermo, colonna sonora impareggiabile (me la sono procurata immediatamente dopo averloInutile girarci troppo intorno, The Medium è un capolavoro. Un Masterpiece dei giochi horror in terza persona.     Achei uma proposta de jogo nova. Narrativa bem construída e envolvente. Jogabilidade bem imersiva. Fui com pé atrás por se tratar de um survival horror em que o personagem jogável não combate, mas fui surpreendido positivamente. Cenários e sons fantásticos. Personagens marcantes. Para quem gosta do gênero é um excelente título.

    The ability to have 2 worlds at the same time in the gameplay and the great soundtrack makes the immersion very entertaining when watching the story and they want to show you, of course if all the details are taken into account instead of just focusing on the narrative only.

Like there are side characters that had massive affects on the main story itself before you got there and had to deal with them yourself. Its just a perfect amount of everything I needed to happen in a game that kept me going all the way to the end. Lasting between 5 to 7 hours depending on play style. Its defiantly worth a playthrough or 2 if you really want to try and understand this story. The deal reality is a great feature. Even if the possibility of the game DRS going down to 900p while in deal reality. I never seemed to saw a detail change and I never felt the game stutter. I will defiantly play through this game again after my first time experiencing this game.… Expand

Главный минус это закрепленная позиция камеры в (хрен пойми где) не удобно!!! (лучше бы сделали как в ведьмаке). Управление легкое и понятное, однако не все клавиши были удобны мне. Игра на 20-30% состоит из хорошо проработанных синематиков, чтоФантастическая игра с хорошей графикой интригующим сюжетом и к сожалению не самыми сложными головоломками (но достаточно занимательными). Главный минус это закрепленная позиция камеры в (хрен пойми где) не удобно!!! (лучше бы сделали как в ведьмаке). Управление легкое и понятное, однако не все клавиши были удобны мне. Игра на 20-30% состоит из хорошо проработанных синематиков, что разбавляют геймплей хорошими сюжетными вставками. Еще один минус это то что игра заставляет тебя либо слушать диалог об объекте на который ты смотришь либо забить на него и продолжить свой путь.     Really good if not short game, only nit pick is I’m not a fan of the fixed camera and there’s the odd resolution drop that’s noticeable but still brilliant nonetheless.

    This is really WOW for me. I played with Microsoft PASS for PC. I have strong PC - RTX3090 so no any problems with max RTX settings. Very good story too, crg for this title!

    Im surprised but it is fairly great game, I thought that will be medicore. Yeah its linear and gameplay is not complicated but atmosphere, music and world design is outstanding. Definitely worth playing, give it chance and try it!

    Amazing game, the story is really good, graphics are good, and music and sound are really impressive.
    It has some issues with optimization and some very weird character animations at times, but overall, it doesn't diminish the great experience of playing an "old school horror" type of game with new graphics and technology.
    Its free (included) with game pass subscription so it’s a huge plus.

    This game is not for everyone but I feel this was made for me. Great psychological thriller feel to the game. Only reason this is not a 10 is that the game mechanics can get a little repetitive. I need more games like this in my life a game that makes you realy think about the story being told and not relying on jump scares.

    Un juego muy interesante. Los escenarios muy bien logrados, la jugabilidad creativa y una historia atrapante. No es un juego de acción en el sentido de ir matando enemigos, es más bien terror psicológico. Merece la pena probarlo sin lugar a dudas.

    The story and and narrative in amazing! The concept of two dimensions is very clever and engaging. The graphics and detail are gourgeos. It feels next-gen. The music is a masterpiece. I recommend to give it a try. It’s been a long time since we don’t have a horro game of this quality.

    Me esperaba mucho menos de este juego pero al final me ha encantado, tiene una historia muy interesante que te atrapa desde el primer momento, la jugabilidad es buena que junto a la cámara fija le da ese punto especial que hoy día poco se ve(con planos perfectos para ver bien el entorno, el cual es impresionante para ser un AA), la banda sonora es bastante buena, la mecánica de dosMe esperaba mucho menos de este juego pero al final me ha encantado, tiene una historia muy interesante que te atrapa desde el primer momento, la jugabilidad es buena que junto a la cámara fija le da ese punto especial que hoy día poco se ve(con planos perfectos para ver bien el entorno, el cual es impresionante para ser un AA), la banda sonora es bastante buena, la mecánica de dos mundos a doble pantalla (que no funciona igual que pantalla dividida) es bastante innovadora y bonita de ver Por ejemplo: Cuando interactuas con X en el mundo espiritual y puedes ver que mueve un objeto pero en el mundo de los vivos lo ves flotando o cuando la protagonista tiene contacto físico con X en el mundo espiritual pero en el de los vivos se ve como si fuera un mimo y claramente no puede faltar el aspecto del entorno.

    This game gave me major Nostalgia vibes of the horror games of yester-year. I played a lot of RE and Silent Hill as a kid and this game hit that vibe for me perfectly! Not for everyone, but I recommend trying this game, and let the story build before you give it up.

    Game runs great even on series s. It's unique a unique and interesting experience. I'm not usually one for fixed camera games but the medium does it very well. The dual reality is an impressive design, a great accomplishment from a small studio.

    Despite clunky animations, repetitive gameplay and some technical issues with the Xbox Series X version, I completed The Medium twice. Its dual-reality design, art direction and brilliant soundtrack often made me stop to take in a view or relish the music. Its mature story and atmosphere reminiscent of Silent Hill helped a lot too.
