    5 hours long. Graphics are garbage. Gameplay is absolute trash, walk around a room simulator. Another big fat fail on xbox "exclusive" the most boring game I've seen to this date. You literally do nothing for 5 hours then that's it. Looks like it'll run on a PS2. Avoid

    Classic nostalgic feel and interesting features, specifically the dual reality. Gameplay felt good and story was great, music even better. Looking forward to playing it again for the completion!

    Very boring game. This game is a walking simulator with horror elements and a terrible execution. This game just feels clunky and unfinished. Not a good sign for future Xbox exclusives.

    Game runs great even on series s. It's unique a unique and interesting experience. I'm not usually one for fixed camera games but the medium does it very well. The dual reality is an impressive design, a great accomplishment from a small studio.

    El juego es muy bueno, hablando de las modalidades de juego así como el renderisado de dos mundos al mismo tiempo etc. La historia pudo atraparme durante horas aun que no sentía miedo constantemente podía sentir la sensación de que alguien me observaba de tras de la cámara fija. Excelente juego me gusto muchísimo

    Gráfico bonito e atmosfera interessante. tem alguns bugs aqui e ali, nada que um reload não ajude. Não é bem meu estilo de jogo, prefiro ser mais proativo contra os monstros, mas a estória é legal. O design da protagonista é magnífico.

    The medium is a good game. Short about 7 hours long. Cool graphics with the dual worlds thing. Simple puzzles and the start is slow. Picks up after 2 or 3 hours. Not much gameplay wise, but cool story.

    Hacia mucho tiempo que no me encontraba con un título con este corte noventero pero de gráficos actuales. Magnífica banda sonora, historia que te atrapa, puzzles brillantes y sustos y misterio. Muy recomendado.

    el juego me recuerda a resident evil, las cámaras son fijas, es una narrativa, buena historia, muy interesante la propuesta de dos mundos, es un juego que por su ritmo que es lento y no tiene mucha dificultad, no lo considero de terror, es mas una narrativa, pero en términos generales me ha gustado

    The game may not be a great "Horror" game but it definitely is a great game. The story, sound design, voice acting, visuals and atmosphere all hit the mark for me. Although the gameplay is just walking and solving puzzles, the plot and the interesting world made me keep playing. The only downsides for me are the few bugs and glitches and the weird optimization(FPS is all over the place,The game may not be a great "Horror" game but it definitely is a great game.     I played this game for 5 hours and I paused the game just to review this...the game is great in every aspect... it reminds me so much of old school SH. The story is great the horror elements are also nice. The achievements titles are so funny I would give this game 8/10 but seeing people judge this game badly made me go for the 10...Love it

    Great sound design. Rest is bull-crap. Doesn't look good on a 4k TV. Ray tracing isn't showcased properly. Won't recommend. Play Outlast if you want to play horror games.

    He jugado el juego por aproximadamente 7 horas , lo recomiendo totalmente para cualquier amante del genero de terror , te engancha la historia y gráficamente para ser un juego doble A se ve muy bien para todo usuario de Gamepass deberían darle una oportunidad realmente lo vale !!!

    Very strong first half of the game. It just drags in the last half and ultimately falls flat at the end. Great concept though. The game just doesn't know where to end. Pretty much the same problem Bloober Team had with The Blair Witch.

    Fantastic game from Bloober Team. Really hits all the right notes for me. If you enjoy story driven games that create great atmosphere and look visually amazing then this may be for you. If all you care about is combat in games then I won’t recommend as this game is about the journey and it’s a great one.

    This is a very mediocre Horror, especially for being the first Xbox Series X exclusive, this game tries to copy Silent Hill by failing miserably, it is not scary, it has a bad narrative component and above all it seems more an Xbox 360 game than a Xbox Series X game, poor graphics and poor optimization. Xbox confirms its trend: having sh1tty exclusives.

    La historia me ha encantado. Aventura gráfica que recuerda a las de los finales de los 90. Banda sonora tremenda y puzzles sencillos pero entretenidos. Lo único malo algún tirón en los FPS, jugando en Series X. En realidad para mi sería un 8,pero como está web es una basura que cualquiera puede venir a hacer bombing, pues mi 10 para compensar.

    This game gave me major Nostalgia vibes of the horror games of yester-year. I played a lot of RE and Silent Hill as a kid and this game hit that vibe for me perfectly! Not for everyone, but I recommend trying this game, and let the story build before you give it up.

    Pros: Es maravilloso el jugar en ambos mundos simultáneos. tiene unos escenarios muy bonitos y que te sumergen al lugar. La banda sonora es muy buena. Gratis con gamepass o por 40€

    Excelentes mecánicas de juego que hacen remarcable el resolver los puzzles, así como la música y la gran ambientación, que te adentran muy bien al suspenso del juego. No es el típico juego de jumpscares, por lo qué la sensación de intriga y terror psicológico se mantiene.

    Es una basura de juego los puzzles dan sueño y lo peor es que son su única jugabilidad, los sustos son simples screamers la historia es caca de perro no lo compren, pensaba que xbox se iba a redimir está generación pero sigue siendo el mismo lastre de todas las generaciones ojalá que los próximos juegos del ecosistema xbox mejoren.

    I kept going back and forth throughout The Medium's 8 hour campaign as to whether I liked the first true Series X exclusive for the console. The gameplay elements are very hit or miss for me, mostly miss. The static camera, ala the old Resident Evil games, come with their own drawbacks like weird character movement and unable to know what the correct path can be sometimes. And the generalI kept going back and forth throughout The Medium's 8 hour campaign as to whether I liked the first true Series X exclusive for the console. The gameplay elements are very hit or miss for me, mostly miss. The static camera, ala the old Resident Evil games, come with their own drawbacks like weird character movement and unable to know what the correct path can be sometimes. And the general sluggish nature of moving around the main character, Marianne, throughout the story was almost a hassle for the most part. Also the constant pop in of textures, during cutscenes and exploration, were beyond awful. Which didnt help with some of the bland textures when they were loading right. However the story was compelling, if containing a few plot holes here and there, to keep me going. That was until I got to the ending. As the game got to about the 3/4ths mark, the plot holes kept getting bigger and bigger until they were crater sized. With an ending that was so bad that it completely ruined the experience for me. They did set up for a sequel but the characters decisions at the end were a total cop out for they had been building up to the entire time. No specific spoilers but I honestly feel like I wasted my time with this game. Thankfully this is a gamepass game so it doesnt feel like a total loss for me. However if I had spent 60 dollars on this game to experience that ending, I'd be very angry with the way they went about it here. Not a great way for the first Series X exclusive game to end.… Expand

    The story and and narrative in amazing! The concept of two dimensions is very clever and engaging. The graphics and detail are gourgeos. It feels next-gen. The music is a masterpiece. I recommend to give it a try. It’s been a long time since we don’t have a horro game of this quality.

    The game is almost perfect. The narrative is amazing. I had some small ongoing problems, but nothing very important. A very nice different game, all people must try the game, is AMAZING

    The medium chegou com uma idéia inédita e para isso sacrificou um pouco frame rate, mas pelo fato do jogo não ter uma ação frenética acaba não interferindo na jogabilidade. A câmera fixa trouxe nostalgia ao game, se inspirando principalmente em silent Hill. Até a trilha sonora foi feita pela mesma pessoa. Jogue, vale a pena!

    This game is extremely atmospheric, the story is simple and lacks a bit of subtlety but it's a very engaging one... Going around the beautiful scenery made it all worth it. Not extremely scary but maintains a very creepy atmosphere throughout.     Juego de notable alto, para mi gusto, gran sonido que te envuelve, una jugabilidad clasica, y una muy buena historia, buenos graficos, quizas se ha hechado en falta el doblaje al castellano, pero en general la verdad es que me ha sorprendido, no me esperaba un juego tan bueno.

    La historia no esta mal, pero el gameplay es muy malo. supongo que por lo de los dos mundos no se puede jugar en la anterior generación, pero no aporta nada nuevo al genero.
    En pc (amd 5600 con geforce 3070) caídas de fps increíbles de estar jugando a 60 fps y caer a 4 fps que por momentos es injugable, esperando que saque algún parche que lo solucione.

    La verdad me encanto, la historia al principio no la capte bien, pero poco a poco se fue entendiendo, los graficos y el arte una chulada, la jugabilidad estupenda.

    Mucha gente de aqui dice que AAA, pero nunca se vendio como eso... y demas tontefias que dicen... me imagino que es porque es de xbox

    Sobre el juego, pues el tiempo lo pondrá en su lugar y dentro de algunos años se hablará de él como "Joya oculta". The Medium hace una apuesta muy arriesgada trayéndonos una historia de terror con unas mecánicas muy originales. Te mantiene en tensión las 10 horas que dura el juego. Nos aporta algo fresco en un mercado saturado de juegos clónicos y genéricos, solo por esta original apuesta ya se merece todo el reconocimiento. Para colmo el producto ha salido redondo. Si buscas reventar zombies con un lanzacohetes, The Medium no es tu juego. Pero si perteneces a un grupo de videojugador maduro que disfruta de historias paranormales trabajadas, sin duda debes jugar a The Medium    … Expand

    Ambiance correct, 8h is like DLC, gameplay too old, and technicaly it's just a shame... 4k dynamique at 1440p range, sometimes 900p@30fps big drops of framerate.
    640p on séries s...(ram will be a real problem for both consoles during all the gen).

    It is an X exclusive, because MS wanted an X exclusive. Visually it looks pretty ordinary even on a PC. There is no reason whatsoever not to release it on One. It looks especially weird, given non-existing X supply - to release an exclusive for a console which you cannot buy.

    I really like this game, I remember the old horror games with that camera, the soundtrack is the best, quite similar to that of silent hill, when I started playing I thought I wouldn't like it but I ended up getting hooked on the story

    Despite clunky animations, repetitive gameplay and some technical issues with the Xbox Series X version, I completed The Medium twice. Its dual-reality design, art direction and brilliant soundtrack often made me stop to take in a view or relish the music. Its mature story and atmosphere reminiscent of Silent Hill helped a lot too.     The exclusive Microsoft - The Medium is yet another significant milestone in the catalogue of psychological horror games from Bloober Team, which is increasingly becoming one of the best studios in this area. Without hiding where it comes from, it's an experience horror fans won't want to miss, no matter how short. The duality approach is interesting and has enormous potential. I hope that the Bloober Team will get to work on it again and develop it more in-depth.
