    Inutile girarci troppo intorno, The Medium è un capolavoro. Un Masterpiece dei giochi horror in terza persona. Grafica spettacolare (soprattutto le ambientazioni), gameplay assolutamente unico e innovativo, storia complicata e per nulla scontata che ti tiene attaccato fino all'ultimo secondo allo schermo, colonna sonora impareggiabile (me la sono procurata immediatamente dopo averloInutile girarci troppo intorno, The Medium è un capolavoro. Un Masterpiece dei giochi horror in terza persona. Grafica spettacolare (soprattutto le ambientazioni), gameplay assolutamente unico e innovativo, storia complicata e per nulla scontata che ti tiene attaccato fino all'ultimo secondo allo schermo, colonna sonora impareggiabile (me la sono procurata immediatamente dopo averlo finito), ma soprattutto in svariati punti ti mette davvero l'ansia, cosa che ogni degno gioco horror dovrebbe fare. Assolutamente 10/10, il miglior gioco horror a cui abbia mai giocato da Alien Isolation, Silent Hill, Remothered e The Evil Within 2.… Expand

    This game, this studio has shown much promise. They accomplished such a concept on a fairly limited budget. With a AAA budget, I can see this team make some of the best experiences out there. Hopefully one day they do and I can't wait for what they have in store next!

    It is an interesting story that intrigues and grabs you. It is quite original how the story unfolds between both worlds on a split screen to solve puzzles, which are not difficult except for the odd one. Bloober Team has been inspired by the games of yesteryear like Resident Evil and Silent Hill even paying    Really Good Game with excellent narrative. The angles of the cameras are sublime.

Bloober Team has been inspired by the games of yesteryear like Resident Evil and Silent Hill even paying homage to them.
    Don't expect an action or horror game, rather it is more of a suspense thriller and walking simulator with a great setting and a perfect execution of the soundtrack.
    The game falters in certain situations like in the graphic section when both worlds happen on screen. Some drops in frames and loading of textures but it's a great job since the loading screens are non-existent and the assets load simultaneously and the gaming experience is unaffected.
    Applaud Bloober Team with "The Medium" where they have surpassed themselves.    … Expand

    When the game tries to shock you, the main character doesn't give a single f#ck.

    Honestly the closest thing to the original silent hill trilogy, stunning story and great ideas, was honestly shocked how good this game was.

Rendimiento en Series X penoso con múltiples bajadas de fps, texturas que no cargan hasta segundos despues, jugabilidad tosca, movimientos robóticos, diseño de los personajes muy malo, lineal es decir poco, puzzles tan sencillos que se hacen solos, la historia esta tan cogida con pinzas en todos sus puntos que te la puedo contar en una frase “dos hermanas con poderes paranormales que han sido separadas, han abusado de una de ellas y la otra no recuerda nada al despertarse de un coma” FIN, nada de terror, cuando controlas a Thomas te obligan a ir despacio para alargar artificialmente la duración del juego. MUY DECEPCIONANTE para ser el primer exclusivo de MS de esta nueva generación… Expand

    A truly beautiful game. From the atmospheric visuals to the haunting soundtrack everything about this game was done with heart. Bloober is known as a great studio for their genre titles and has done a great job with The Medium.

Good story telling, great looking atmosphere, great lighting and audio, and the Ray Tracing is arguably the best I’ve seen so far in a new gen game. Biggest draw backs for me were: the indecisiveness on whether or not the game wants to be a walking simulator or not. The climax. More than 80% of the time I was really impressed with the environment and atmosphere. Whereas about 15% of the time I was impressed with character visuals. The most impressive moment coming at the end of the game where they close in on her face and you can see her pores and other details Lastly, I didn’t mind the cliffhanger ending. The medium has a lot of upside. I feel like with the right support Bloober Team can make a totally beast sequel. It could focus on Thomas fighting the Maw. Playing his part showed me that they can make a combat system if they tried. Spirit force attacks and parrying. It could work.… Expand

    El juego es realmente increíble, es super inmersivo los escenarios enamoran, graficos next gen, el juego en si es una maravilla y la banda sonora te eriza la piel. no le hagan caso a nadie, probarlo ustedes mismo, yo no le tenia mucha fe pero al jugarlo me encanto. y pues las animaciones no son las mejores pero entiendo que es un doble A, asi que no hay peros.

    This is a game CLEARLY made with passion and love. The story is awesome. The writing and voice acting is wonderful. The implementation of the protagonist's "split" is super rad. Seriously, the way you simultaneously interact with two different worlds is refreshingly unique. One of the coolest aspects of the dual screen was seeing the same scene    I HIGHLY recommend playing The Medium.

    A good story, an art direction to highlight, great soundtrack and some mechanics / puzzles to accompany you in the discovery of the story that without being outstanding work to not make you heavy the 7 hours. Best of all, a solid ending unusual in the horror genre.
    For me it is a game of 8.5

    I'll be honest since it seems to be a thing not many people will do when you break down a lot of these scores. This game is pretty much silent hill without combat. I know its a weird way to look at it but it has been a game I have been waiting for years. This game hits all the points for me a good story. Its just a perfect amount of everything I needed to happen in a game that kept me going all the way to the end. Lasting between 5 to 7 hours depending on play style. Its defiantly worth a playthrough or 2 if you really want to try and understand this story. The deal reality is a great feature. Even if the possibility of the game DRS going down to 900p while in deal reality. I never seemed to saw a detail change and I never felt the game stutter. I will defiantly play through this game again after my first time experiencing this game.… Expand

    The Medium is actually not even close to either Silent Hill or Resident Evil but still borrows a lot from them. There was huge promise in the split world mechanic and even the fact we had ray tracing. On one hand, this game is a really good effort. On    Part of me wanted to review this game without being stupidly blind and biased towards anything that even remotely seemed like Silent Hill.
    The Medium is actually not even close to either Silent Hill or Resident Evil but still borrows a lot from them. There was huge promise in the split world mechanic and even the fact we had ray tracing. On one hand, this game is a really good effort. On the other, it seems lacking, in real threats, constant scares and true horror. The Medium isn't really a horror game, its more a game about the work of Mediums with supernatural connections and powers to another world. What is there in the game feels like a step towards a greater game world, amazing characters and story for our Medium protagonists, in a future game maybe. The music is PHENOMENAL, as can be expected. The graphics, only slightly above par, with poorly utilized RT and some bad models and lip-sync but a whole lot of effort put in for most of the game worlds design. The Medium feels like a tribute to horror games from the 90s and I AM ALL ABOUT THAT. You really can't go past what is great value for a Game Pass title. Just wanted more, expected better and felt let down by how short the game is. Still really impressed though, would recommend a play regardless. It starts slow but gets better and better. It has some realy disturbing moments and a real good story and good puzzle solving. I had around 10hours for the playthrough and never used a walkthrough. 10 Hours is longIf you are a casual gamer, than maybe you should check out some Videos first.     Chato demais. Só andar pra lá e pra cá. Diferente, por exemplo, de RE, que podemos usar uma arma. Não posso falar de otimização porque joguei no PC, mas, parece que esta com problemas no Xbox.
    Como jogo inicial dos novos SS e SX uma decepção.

    No es Silent Hill, pero tiene su propia alma, no se por que lo vendieron como su representación. Me encanta por lo único que es. Vamos, que no es un juego de 10, pero es un buen juego que yo personalmente lo recomiendo.
    Es intrigante, absorbente, te mantiene alerta todo el tiempo, el sonido es excelso. De pega pondría algunas animaciones del personaje. Pero del resto muy recomendado!.

    Ótimo RPG horror com pegada Old School, mas com uma trama e recursos visuais mais modernos. A única coisa que poderia ser melhor é a animação dos personagens, poderia ser no nível do Man of Medan, o olhar de peixe morto da protagonista as vezes é perturbador.

    Mais à dire vrai, la seule différence entre cette nouvelle daube    « The Medium » est la nouvelle daube des faiseurs de daubes habituelles dans le genre horrifique à deux balles, à savoir les baltringues de chez la « Bloober Team » qui ont déjà commis les Layers of Fear, Blair Witch et Observer ! avec un tel palmerdès, inutile de dire qu’on s’attendait au pire et… qu’on a pas été déçu !

    Mais à dire vrai, la seule différence entre cette nouvelle daube et les précédentes, c’est qu’elle est -enfin- jolie à regarder malgré une résolution « dynamique » qui tutoie les tréfonds de la génération d’avant et ce, sur la console la plus puissante du moment, la Series X ! et de surcroît, on reste limité à du 30 im/s… et puis c’est tout.

    Du 30 im/s dans un jeu à caméras fixes neuf fois sur dix et ce, dans le sous-genre Resident Debil ou Silent Debill, il fallait le faire ! d’ailleurs, c’est tellement programmé n’importe comment que même sur un PC de fou avec une 3080 au cul, impossible d’avoir un 60 im/s constant… Sur Series X, on notera aussi des temps de chargement assez choquants pour un jeu de cet acabit, plus scripté qu’elle vieille telenovela : 18 secondes au bas mot, non mais sans déconner…!

    Sinon, pour le reste, c’est une sorte de « silenthillerie » complètement foutraque à laquelle on n’entrave que dalle dont la jouabilité rigide est constamment et carrément à l’ouest, ce qui nous rappelle les heures les plus sombres des sous-merdes bien connues telles que les Resident Debileries ou les infâmes Silent Debilleries de jadis !

    Sans queue ni tête et très pénible, The Medium fait n’importe quoi sous le fallacieux prétexte horrifique, un prétexte qui sombre régulièrement dans le mauvais goût et qui nous gave à très grande vitesse ; alors, direction la poubelle avec tous les étrons de son genre !    … Expand

    Excellent story and graphics. Gameplay is decent for this kind of games, but sound design was phenomenal. Even some technical issues like occasional stutter and frame drops didn’t hurt the overall experiance. Great work Bloober team!

    Achei uma proposta de jogo nova. Narrativa bem construída e envolvente. Jogabilidade bem imersiva. Fui com pé atrás por se tratar de um survival horror em que o personagem jogável não combate, mas fui surpreendido positivamente. Cenários e sons fantásticos. Personagens marcantes. Para quem gosta do gênero é um excelente título.

    I haven't fully beaten the game yet but what i have played do far is rather intense great puzzle solving and jump scare moments. Im not one to get those jump scares but this game caught me a couple of times so far

    Por ser um jogo de orçamento AA, surpreendeu positivamente sendo o melhor game da desenvolvedora. A inovação das duas realidades é muito boa. Optar pelo sistema de câmera semi fixa tbm remete à uma nostalgia dos tempos dourados onde games como silent Hill, clock tower, City of lost childrens e resident evil code verônica eram supremos no estilo    Parabéns ao time de desenvolvimento do game.

    That being said, the game makes no other mistake, despite the fact that the horror factor is not as present as I would wanted, the art, music and story ar very impressive for a small studio like this, it really engaged me in a way I hope they make a sequel or a saga out of this, I find the ideas of the game make an amazing world and are really original.

    The Medium was a blessing in disguise. The story and score of this game is amazing. I loved every minute of it and fell in love with the main character Marianne. The entire playthrough I just kept wanting more of this captivating story. Thanks Bloober Team.

    Hay peores juegos mejor calificados... Dejemos ya de meternos unos con otros y disfrutemos de los juegos sean de la plataforma que sean.

    I love the history and gameplay.
    Fantastic game with great narrative. Probably the most beautiful third-person fixed camera game ever made. The oppressive atmosphere of the game is incredible!

I get that it's for atmosphere and whatnot, but the slow moving protagonist Marianne, the fixed cinematic camera straight out of PS1 Resident Evil, and the inability to backtrack whatsoever really held this game back. There were some neat puzzle elements, and controlling dual-protagonists at times in the spirit/real world wasThe Medium is a terrific story in a not very good game.     The game has beautiful graphics (some stylized after works of painter Beksiński), great music (composed by Akira Yamaoka and Arkadiusz Reikowski), fresh setting (post-Communist Poland, haunted resort), interesting mechanics (activities in two action planes at once), and a captivating story (nothing is black and white and sometimes victims can be oppressors and vice versa).     Estou muito satisfeito em poder jogar The Medium. Não só fã do gênero, mas esse jogo me cativou e me atraiu bastante. A história contada é excelente. A trilha sonora é espetacular. A jogabilidade é simples, porém muito funcional. Essa mecânica de tela dividida entre 2 mundos achei muito boa. Parabéns a Boolber Team.

Bisogna abituarsi se si è nuovi al genere, ma non è assolutamente un difetto. No jumpscare, tutto passa tramite ambientazione e musiche. Menzione d'onore alla colonna sonora :superba.     Xbox nos sorprende con una joya dentro de su catálogo, adentrándose en el suspenso, drama y terror con su nuevo juego, disfrute mucho adentrándome en el universo del juego, es un juego que vale la pena jugar

    El juego es muy bueno, tanto en su temática, como en implementar algo nuevo, una historia atrapante, que si bien no esta a la altura de los silent hill, es muy buena, sus mecánicas de juego son algo a lo clásico, lo cual me gustó mucho. Muy buen juego, recomendado 10/10

The medium is as advertised, the delivered on a great story, one that starts out slow while you adjust to the game and how it works and starts to thicken its plot with each new experience. The pacing and cinematic direction are great, the art style is absolutely its standout feature. (This all going off with acceptance that its a set camera game with essentially no combat) which is fine because its advertised as such, silent hill fans will get to its that scratch! The reason its not a 10/10 is because they could have leaned into puzzles and combat a bit more, and it was a bit lack luster compared to big AAA games, but amazing for what it is!     Despite clunky animations, repetitive gameplay and some technical issues with the Xbox Series X version, I completed The Medium twice. Its dual-reality design, art direction and brilliant soundtrack often made me stop to take in a view or relish the music. Its mature story and atmosphere reminiscent of Silent Hill helped a lot too.     The exclusive Microsoft - The Medium is yet another significant milestone in the catalogue of psychological horror games from Bloober Team, which is increasingly becoming one of the best studios in this area. Without hiding where it comes from, it's an experience horror fans won't want to miss, no matter how short. The duality approach is interesting and has enormous potential. I hope that the Bloober Team will get to work on it again and develop it more in-depth.
