    Look, Starfield is not a perfect game. No game is perfect. But for all you mouthbreathers who come here just to review, bomb it, go **** yourself. You are arguably the worst aspect of the gaming community. You have no valid criticisms or insights. You are all just a bunch of ****ing babies who have to be harmful because it makes you think you are cool.

    Anyways now I got that out of the way, I have played Bethesda title since the launch of morrowind. I’m a big fan of their games, starfield is the best game they have created and right up there with their other titles like Skyrim, fallout NV, and Morrowind. Bethesda tried something totally different and alien to them, the story is prob the best story line in a Bethesda game, the side quest also feel like the main story. Role playing potential in this game is massive, mods for this game will make this game even better down the road. Starfield has its problems, and it’s mainly because of their creation engine limiting much of what they can realistically do (landing and flying without loading screen and full open space flight) this is pretty much the only big down side. But that negitive can easily be overlooked if u love their other titles, you will have fun with this game. It’s a good time. The graphics are really good for what their engine can handle, it’s not very buggy either besides the usual Bethesda bugs that are usually hilarious. Don’t listen to the smooth brain 1 star reviews, that is ridiculous and just untrue. Only reason I gave it a 10 is to often the review bombing, I realistically give it a 9.4. If you are a Bethesda fan, u will love this one.    … Expand

    Way better than I expected, Slow start but after a few hours it's great. I'm using Game Pass but I'm definitely going to purchase a copy.

    If you love Bethesda games this is their best game yet by far. A captivating story with real gut-wrenching consequences. People complain about the borders on the planets map, but from what I have experienced the map on each planet seems much bigger than fallout 4.

    An absolutely great experience so far, I've had it since pre-release. So much to do and explore, with the freedom to play at your pace and spend time on the things you enjoy more. I feel like I've barely scratched the surface when I see where others are at lol Was able to hijack a spacer coyote, something I'd recommend for early game! The game really is a breath of fresh air, when compared to so many games that have come out in the last few years it's nice to go back to a single player you can really grind our and make your own.     I particularly struggled with the planet surveying but there was particular tricks that I learned along the way to optimise my time spent to fully survey each planet. Overall a truly expansive and immersive game that I’ve now spent 40 hours in and plan to spent potentially hundreds more exploring, shooting, speaking, upgrading and truly enjoying. Also as someone who owns all consoles, the review bombing is so childish and comes from jealous and bitter people who hate the fact they can’t play it on their particular console. Grow up.     I have been playing it for a while and i gotta say Bethesda nailed it. I didn’t gave it 10 because of somethings like loading screens but its still fun and enjoyable other than that. Even with the loading screens its 9/10 experience for me. This game is awesome. People giving it zero are trash sony fan boys or have not played the game yet.

The crafting, the skill progression, the exploration, the characters, the worlds, all absolutely stunning. I spent about 3 hours just WALKING through New Atlantis just getting lost in the cinematics, feeling like i was the main character in a blockbuster movie that just came out.

    The movement, animations, gunplay, and graphics are a full step above Skyrim and Fallout 4, and that is a very nice improvement to have. The attention to detail, the physics, the natural way the characters behave, it's all just spot on. I played a lot of Fallout and Elder Scrolls (loved them both) and I can say without question that this is a worthy successor to the throne.

    In one word, this game is: breathtaking. I hope people can take a step back, spend some real time with this game, and truly appreciate it for what it is - a masterpiece.    … Expand

    Overall, such a fun and awesome game!! The game runs great (I play on Xbox Series S), story is unique and intriguing, and there is a great variety of items and weapons. As someone who absolutely loved playing Skyrim, Starfield is an absolute blast! Highly recommend if you are into these open world RPG style games, or if you are interested in starting with this genre of video games.

    Starfield is an incredible game with an highly detailed and polished universe.

    The game is fun, you’re free on this big game area where you can do everything you want. Quests are good some can look like fedex quest but the majority are good written.

    Ignore all the fake reviews from PlayStation fanboys, this is an enjoyable game and comparatively quite stable for a newly released Bethesda game.

    One downside is having no vehicles for planet exploration, which I hope Bethesda can add in a future update. In saying that, fast travel is quite easy for already explored locations so this is only problematic for newly discovered planets.

    Ist zwar wieder die alte Bethesda formel, trotzdem packte mich das Spiel sehr schnell und ließ mich nicht mehr los, die Story ist zwar nicht besonders ausgefallen jedoch spielt das keine Rolle da die Galaxie so vollgepackt ist mit Ablenkungen.

    22 hours in and I have to doff my cap to Bethesda.

    Being a massive Fallot and Skyrim fan expectations for Starfield were obviously high but Bethesda have delivered and then some.

    Tons of quests, ship building, space exploration and more, the only downside is not enough hours in the day to play, but obviously that's not the devs fault.

    Fantastic and believable worldbuilding
    Interesting characters
    Ridiculously complex ship and outpost building mechanics
    Enjoyable ship combat
    Fun and vastly improved foot combat
    Addictive system and planetary exploration
    Truly impressive visuals even compressed and truncated for streaming and back-compatibility
    The game is almost exactly as described; virtually every feature highlighted by BGS in promotional is present and works as described, with very little over-promised or misportrayed.

    Cons:

    The map system needs refinement; local maps are not helpful
    The tutorial system needs expansion and rework; many of the most useful and immersive elements are not mentioned at all, many systems are not explained properly, nor are the tutorials particularly well-written or integrated well    … Expand

Ce n'est pas possible. Tu peux pas faire un jeu de 10000 km d'exploration avec des bâtiments etc sans qu'il y ait des trucs.     Best Bethesda game I've played to date in vanilla, super expansive universe and so much to do, they really delivered here, and while there's a lot of hate around the game I would suggest you really try it for yourself and see if you like it because most of the game criticism unfortunately is very unfounded.     This game is definitely worth the 7 year hype. I will admit the main story can feel a bit dragged on at some points but the Bethesda magic really shines here. I got sucked into some 5 hour sidequest where I joined the police and it was super immersive and fun and most of the game is like that. Even though only 10% of the planets have life that's still 100 planets with other life andThis game is definitely worth the 7 year hype. Yes, lots of loading screens (which you can usually avoid if you use the fast travel correctly) Barren planets, eh, not so much theres still plenty to find and loot on them, there just isn't a civilization or hub for the planet. A good mix of weapons, weapon mods, armour mods etc. NPCs are definitely Bethesda ones, but we all know what thats like. The story and quests are fun, plenty of humour, loads of faction questlines, and even some big questlines from companions or some random woman in a bar that took me on a 6 hour tangent. Not to mention the ship building, great amount of customisation. No we cant fly everywhere in space or land ourselves, but I'd go and play Elite dangerous or Starcitizen for that, this is space skyrim.… Expand

    Major quality of life features and some outdated feeling menus hold this game back from being a true masterpiece, despite a few bugs this is the most fun I've had in a single player game in years. When I'm not playing, I'm thinking about it, which is the sign of a brilliant game.

    honestly, where to start. the game has a feel very similar to no man's sky(wich i love dearly) but added so much in a different way that it simply is amazing.

    i've been now playing since september 1st and haven't actually stoppen loving it. and it's one of the rare games that made my heart pumping like when you needed stealth to do multiple missions for the crimson fleet. and then    honestly, where to start. the game has a feel very similar to no man's sky(wich i love dearly) but added so much in a different way that it simply is amazing.

    and then the basic story i could play for a very long time, and then the combat on foot is really good, i would like to see a few adjustments in the ship flying ai like that they ram into you with 5 ships and then keep shooting wich is a bit frustrating but nothing to dock to much points from.

    odly with the romance there is a bit much left to the imagination by you when you sleep you don't get to actually lay down and sleep but also your companion wil wake up on the same side as you on a two person bed(so kinda like you just laying on top of like sarah and apperrantly have some "fun" let's put it like that).

    sadly as of now i haven't really seen any of the base building so i still need to look into that, but Oh My God the ship customisation is so amazing i hope there wil be a full out of save ship building brance so you can build ships fully custom on it's own through the main menu that can be added to saves to buy or to unlock through a mission wich you can redo over and over as a nice loop. note: you need to keep class in ming being a the lowest and c the highest wich you need the full ship flying perk unlocked to be allowed to fly all three, wich is kinda limiting.

    all in all i might not have touched on everything but the game is soooooooo big i really recomend going in and play it and not just take my word or other reviewers and especially reviewbomvers for it since about 6 million people are playing it and probably most haven't yet shared their honest opinions.

    It's better try for yourself. Don't believe the people who say that this game is a 10 or a complete trash, go blind and play, maybe you be surprised or not, depends completely of you. Try one gamepass if you're afraid to waste your money.

    For the price and promotion made huge disappointment...

    Selling a game at full price with repeated bugs, completely messed-up faces and disastrous lip-sync is not normal.

    Big disappointment, the planets are beautiful, but the fedex quests are not very interesting.

    A feeling of emptiness and filler. I hope the console version will be better optimized than the PC version.

    About 30 hours in and loving it. I got the Xbox a year ago for this game, and I don’t regret it.

    It does take a good 10-20 hours to start getting the hang of it, but now that I’m getting there, I feel myself being drawn in, in typical Bethesda style.

    This is for all the no man sky PS Player n PC players n all who are review bombing this is a great game I've been playing and enjoying every minute of it. Better then sonys no man sky for sure though. N Sony has more exclusive then any console. I say to all of u haven't played give it a chance. It truly is a great game.

    It is true that you'll find a good number of barren wastelands with little to do other than extracting some resources and take off to more interesting places, but again it really depends on how you want to play. There's so much to do, so many systems and abilities to explore, missions to complete, spaceships to loot, and species to catalogue, that I honestly don't think there's anybody who thinks that exploring every square meter of this universe is the better way to enjoy Starfield.

    While it has weak spots and doesn’t push many boundaries, Starfield is still an excellent RPG experience. Bethesda has once again mastered the things it built its reputation on – world building, quest design, and deep customization. However, it’s found new things to excel at too, with exciting combat and a novel implementation of New Game Plus.
