    The story is nothing special.
    Let's move on to the gameplay
    Bad gunplay, where there is no hit feedback. Unpresentable stealth and melee. The enemy AI is the ugliest ever seen in a videogame
    Cities are never alive but they have NPCs that are dummies. They don't run away when you aim a weapon, or when you shoot. And so did a game like Cyberpunk that had a disastrous exit. This thing does not lead you to immerse yourself in the game world
    The animations and faces you can't turn a blind eye to
    How does the many loads it has not lead you to immerse yourself in the game. Another sore point. Everything is a load that accumulated brings problems to the player.
    Anyone who says it's a bug-free game is lying to you shamelessly. There are and they are many.
    Another sore part is the section in space. Everything summarized you are not free to move that there are artificial barriers that the game puts on you
    It's great to be able to make the spacecraft however you want even if it's quite cumbersome and not very simple. The question of questions.. But since you can't navigate through space like in No man's Sky so to speak with docking and take-off etc. What's the point of making a spacecraft if in the end you can only use it for cargo or for those sections where there is space combat? Answer to nothing. A nice bait and switch
    Another sore point the 1000 planets. All or almost empty. Wasn't it enough to make less and more cared for? No, the fanboys' justification is that in real life the planets are empty. Let's repeat the **** Ashley Cheng said that it doesn't have to be a playground.
    They basically gave us quantity for quality.

    The good things about this game?

    I have played 52 hours so far. What are my thoguhts? This is the best Bethesda game since Oblivion!!!!!!!!! Simply wonderful an a huge improvement from Fallout 4 and Fallout 76.

    Bethesda is back!! Wonderful game and second best of 2023, behind BG3. Get this game now, it is simply amazing!

    Bad : Very bland story and characters, nothing is memorable, no map ?, lot of fast travel for some very short quest, stealth is bad, AI is bad..

    Greatness : ship building is a rabbit hole, Bethesda goofy moments (fewer than precedent games), weapon design are cool, Mid : Gunfights, Space fights, some cities are cool but unoriginal (neon city), some factions are cool but unoriginal (crimson fleet), very recurrent dialogue option (I did it for money » or « as long as I get paid)…

    Very bad : incoherence writing and all of the important npc are immortal

    After 60 h + played, the depth and inmersion in this game is just magnificent. Still plenty of missions to do and things to discover. The story is one of the best I can remember in a videogame, almost reminds me a well done movie, it keeps you wanting to know what will happen next. Secondary missions also amazing. All the features that the game has, spaceship build, outposts, perks willAfter 60 h + played, the depth and inmersion in this game is just magnificent. Still plenty of missions to do and things to discover. The story is one of the best I can remember in a videogame, almost reminds me a well done movie, it keeps you wanting to know what will happen next. Secondary missions also amazing. All the features that the game has, spaceship build, outposts, perks will keep you playing this for years.     Bethesda at its finest. Been playing since early access and now multiple hours in which has had no bugs and no problems which came as a shock as this is a Bethesda game. Some systems could be slightly better but none are terrible and can be easily learnt

    Starfield It is a masterpiece, it hurts whoever it hurts. The fact that it is exclusive to Xbox does not mean that it is bad, it is a wonderful game with an incredible graphic quality that very few video games achieve. Congratulations Bethesda.

    Been playing since early access. 24 hours gameplay. Absolutly stunned by the scope of the game. Had amazing fun just discovering new worlds. Also the main story becomes intrsting. Good gameplay and mechenics.Bethesda made a really good game, maybe GOTY?

    If you enjoy Bethesda games, and spend time in this new world they've created chances are you will be pretty confused by some of the vitriol the game is receiving, and understandably so.     There isn’t spoilers since I’m only 4-6 hours in to the game. It’s fun exciting. Love going to planets and killing the wildlife. The ship building is neat. The whole game is really well done. Don’t listen to loser PlayStation fanboys who review bomb xbox games because it’s not on ps5 who cares grow up.     A truly masterful game. The attention to detail, physics, visuals, and combat are top notch. Customization is endless and the story mode has a tendency to draw you in. Plan on this game being around for the next decade.

    Obra maestra. Todo lo que esperas de un juego de Bethesda y más.

    Es simple. Si te gusta Elder Scrolls y Fallout, sabes que esperar de Starfield pero potenciado a un mapa universal con toneladas de contenido y misiones secundarias.

The spaceship battles are just average and have been done a million times better in other space games. The A.i is dumb. Bugs a plenty as with all Bethesda games.     While it starts a little slow and lacks tutorials on some important aspects of the games, once you learn these you'll quickly become unable to put the game down, far past the main story (which if you're like me you'll be distracted from it by all the cool side quests and companion stories which unfold) but don't get me wrong, the main story is very impressive and kept me interested and entertained all throughout, it was a challenge for me since I was playing on 'hard' meaning I was VS enemies above my level, but it felt satisfying everytime I completed rhe missions, there's also a New Game+ so you can experience it all over again and make new choices whilst still retaining your level and skill attributes attained from your previous game.

    My sub-par reviewing skills don't do this game justice, you NEED to see this all for yourself.    … Expand

    Such a brilliant game. So much to do, so many planets to visit. Detail is insane. Addictive and fun all round. They knocked it out the park with starfield. It's up there as one of my all time fave games already.

    Melhor jogo dos últimos anos, estou jogando desde o early access e estou achando incrível. A história principal (que nunca foi o forte da Bethesda) está muito foda, e as secundárias estão ótimas como sempre. O lançamento quase não teve nenhum bug, e os que eu vi não me atrapalharam em nada. Enfim, recomendo muito, principalmente pra fãs de fallout.

Don't listen to these fan boys that are doing everything in their power to review bomb this game. Just try the game and I bet you will fall in love as you're entrenched in this massive game.

    While the game has some spots that I’m not a huge fan of (no planet to planet flight without fast travel). This is by far one of the best games I’ve played. The main line story is great and all the side content is fun and sometimes better than the main story. The ship building is a total time sink if you really get into it also. Great game that I highly recommend.

Gaming is about drawing you in - being unable to shake those nagging thoughts during your mundane life which are telling you to go back and play. This game does just that.

    The first few hours are slow, granted - but then why wouldn't it be with a game of this size? A beef casserole alway tastes better if you cook it nice and slow. And this is a very fine beef casserole.

    Sure - it's got some bits in it some won't like - such as loading screens, no vehicles, finicky inventory system. Bit like mushrooms in a casserole. But it doesn't detract from it's overall flavour.

    I'm not going to wax lyrical over it and just sum it up. If you like tonnes of missions, sidequests, satisfying combat and plushies - this is the game for you.

    I've rated it a high 8, but pushed it through to a 9 for Vasco accidentally killing a side quest character when running into the room.    … Expand

The game is not bad by any means, it is actually pretty fun, but fails to hit those wow moments and is accompanied by its many flaws, of which the space exploration, or lack thereof, and planet exploration are the most prominent.

    Planets give the feeling of just being empty balls of rock, with little to no actual points of interest present, for a big portion of the cave systems and outposts are just a matter of copy and paste, all the way down to spawn points and loot. The game takes a long time to get going, and when it does you see yourself in an okay-ish story at best.

    Furthermore, on the tech side of Starfield, the game is definitively the most polished game ever produced by Bethesda, but it still has many issues when it comes to optimization, glitches and bugs, all capped at 30 fps. If you are a fan of the typical Bethesda formula, you will no doubt love this game, but those who had hoped and expected more are left with somewhat of a disappointment.    … Expand

I'm not very creative so it can get whacky! It isn't a space simulator it is a bethesda rpg set in space. I've already got multiple days in the game, and ready for more! New game plus changes, and rewrites things a bit! Almost like a multiverse. I'd recommend to do the main story, and on your next playthroughs do more of the side stuff, and get lost! :)… Expand

    Probably my favourite game of all time, from the gorgeous visuals to the stunning artwork. The multiple amazing quests to undertake, I hesitate to call anything a side quest, so many amazing things to discover! I'm about 70+ hours in and still only level 24. So much to do there's just not enough hours in the day. Truly a masterpiece. Amazing work from Bethesda. A generation defining title.

    I'm enjoying it very much. I played it for 93 hours so far. I'm enjoying every aspect of the game. I love the planetary environments, the sound and visual departs, the different faction lores, free exploring, cities and settlements, the spaceship encounters and boarding, crafting, finding and collecting space-suit wear and outfits, and the quests and activities, including its photo mode.I'm enjoying it very much. I played it for 93 hours so far. I'm enjoying every aspect of the game. I love the planetary environments, the sound and visual departs, the different faction lores, free exploring, cities and settlements, the spaceship encounters and boarding, crafting, finding and collecting space-suit wear and outfits, and the quests and activities, including its photo mode.

    I still have to master building and managing planetary outposts, but it's not a problem. It's a great RPG to immerse yourself in for hundreds of hours!

    Ignore all the review bombers, they are so salty about this being an exclusive. The game is amazing, yes it has some flaws but it is a Bethesda game and thats to be expected. It is easily one of my favourite games of all time!

    30 hours In and I’m Stealth archering all over again, getting lost in the rabbit holes ( side quests ) it’s crazy and a well welcome escape.

    Gameplay and Combat is incredible, being able to play back and forth from Xbox to PC is a great plus and there's so much stuff to do I could play this game for a countless amount of hours. Framerate is a steady 30fps on Series X and about 80-90 in the open world on PC so I'm very satisfied. Loving the story and characters as well as custom abilities and upgrades on my characters

    The scope of this game is impressive, the writing is amazing, and graphics are stunning. There is so much to do, it's so easily to just lose time doing side-quests, and the quest-npc's are a joy to talk to. I've barely scratched the surface but this is easily my favourite game of the year

    It's been years since I've been so invested in a game that I could play it for 10 hour stretches. This game legit has me losing sleep. It's that good. It feels like the culmination of all their previous work on Elder Scrolls and Fallout. They basically took all their past knowledge and made one of the best games ever.

    This is a great Bethesda game and provides the usual big world to explore and enough content for 100s of hours.
    This game is extremely fun when you enjoy Bethesda games.

    Nevertheless it also has a lot of technical and UI flaws and it would be great when Bethesda puts in more effort to beyond the standard experience.

    I’ve been looking forward to Starfield ever since it was announced and it was well worth the wait. Everything from the exploration, RPG elements, down to the story are very well down. It has a few flaws here and there as does every other game. But nothing to take away from the joy and excitement you get from playing the game. One of Bethesdas best!

    The way Bethesda makes the storytelling and gameplay special every time is just awesome. It's really "your adventure". If you want to be a space pirate, so be it. Or would you rather find diplomatic solutions, then do it. Be a spy, an agent, an assassíne, a thief or a gunslinger, make it your way because you have this freedom! Sure, the game doesn't come with the most modern graphics, butThe way Bethesda makes the storytelling and gameplay special every time is just awesome. It's really "your adventure".     As a primary PlayStation user and huge Bethesda fan. Starfield is an excellent new IP. I'm 10 hours in, very much enjoying the exploration and story. Only downside for me is the constant loading screens. Should of taken a page out of no man's sky when it comes to landing and taking off. Also miss VATS.     Well, the game has stunning visuals, some deep customization, and a good lore, after the tutorial you can explore how you want, you can ignore the main quest, that's a Bethesda game after all you're free to go, you are not stuck to the main story or an area like in different games.     It is true that you'll find a good number of barren wastelands with little to do other than extracting some resources and take off to more interesting places, but again it really depends on how you want to play. There's so much to do, so many systems and abilities to explore, missions to complete, spaceships to loot, and species to catalogue, that I honestly don't think there's anybody who thinks that exploring every square meter of this universe is the better way to enjoy Starfield.

Bethesda has once again mastered the things it built its reputation on – world building, quest design, and deep customization. However, it’s found new things to excel at too, with exciting combat and a novel implementation of New Game Plus.
