So sad to wait this many years for a lifeless game. The load screens ruin everything. The planets are just boring majority of the time.

Жаль, что далеко не все поиграют в это. Нейросеть действительно сделала всё тонко. Не так уж много модов на TES II:Daggerfall в наше время. Потребовалось 20 лет чтобы получилось интересно и необычно

    WASTE OF MONEY.

The combat is the best it's ever been in a BGS game, and the space combat is excellent. Managing your systems to maximize your damage and maneuverability is so addicting. Expand

Amazing Bethesda rpg. The scale and scope of this game is unbelievable, it’s a bit overwhelming to be honest. Probably be playing for 1000+ hours, and when mods are released it will be insane.

While these things care Similar to games like No mans sky and elite dangerous, again this game does it better. Ship piloting and combat is better, can do more things like, flying stealth or boarding other craft, and running my own space colony across many planets complete with my own created space trucking lanes makes me feel like I'm a space tycoon!!. I'll be playing this for ages!!! Expand

All the loadingscreens and lack of RPG elements compared to BG3 ruins the game. There is nothing special about the gameplay and the quests are boring.

Incredible game. I have never been a Bethesda guy. Tried two of their bigger titles to include Skyrim and Oblivion. I thought they were cool but not in my personal interest. With Starfield, I gave it a shot because I love space themed games such as Deliver Us the Moon. I have been hooked since and I can't get enough of it. Looking forward to this franchise.

This game attempts many things and accomplishes very few, and the early game is an appallingly slow burn, forcing you to play many hours before you start to realize the fun parts will never arrive. Ground combat is Fallout 4 but slightly less clunky. Space combat feels like a series of unwieldy boxes whirling around above a planet, about as fast paced and exciting as helping an old lady across the street. Any kind of space flight besides this is nonexistent, space exploration consists of loading screens and takeoff/landing cinematics. The other part of space exploration is running on foot thousands of meters across a fishbowl map on a generic planet or barren moon, to find the same copy/pasted outpost you discovered on the first moon you visited, with all the same items and npc's in the same exact places. Outpost building is an absolute joke. You would think it would be good, being the third iteration of Bethesda's building system, but in SPACE. It's not, it's 4 prefab structures, 2 landing pads (1 of which doesn't work) and a bunch of large stuff you have to build on the ground outside because there's no nice foundations to build and build on and they don't fit in the very generic premade hab shapes they give you. Followers are uninspired and forgettable and dialogue is limited to Good or Edgy. The only real effect of this dialogue is getting your boring pack animal companion to complain at you for not being enough of a Lawful Good Paladin type. The background and character building is vapid and thin, with my outlaw Professor being universally recognized for having briefly worked on a mining crew at the beginning of the game before getting railroaded into the main quest, or rather, the main series of identical fetch quests that lead you to the lazily written and plainly uninspired conclusion of the very forgettable main story. I paid a hundred bucks to get this in Early Access in spite of having Game Pass because I believed in the strength of the games Bethesda used to make, but the only memorable thing about this game is that I had to play well past the refund time to get the full scope of how bad this Triple-A blockbuster game turned out to be. I fear for the disaster that Elder Scrolls 6 is likely to be, and Bethesda has finally lost me entirely. After many games and thousands of cumulative hours, I won't day one or early access anything from them anymore because they can't be trusted. Expand

I hope patches come out soon to refine or change some things, stealth, npc interaction, skills, lockpicking. Either to make them easier or just work as intended.

This is a very boring game with terrible optimization. empty planets and poor characters have already said it all.
I would like to add that Starfield is not Fallout 4 in space, it is a poor space mod for Fallout 4.
Thanks to Gabe for allowing me to get my money back for such misery.

Starfield was a good game. This statement would have been true 10 years ago. Is it still true in 2023? No. This game is nothing more than a 2.0 update of an aging Skyrim Vanilla. It is unacceptable to have a studio at this point in time resting on past glory by releasing equally mediocre versions of Skyrim one after the other. Skyrim Vanilla, Skyrim Legendary, Skyrim in space, Skyrim underwater... I won't even mention the catastrophic optimization and the bugs that have become your studio's reputation. Modders, however, are not here to do all your work, and it's high time to release polished games instead of barely concealed open betas.
Hoping for a true overhaul of your vision for TES VI, I hope this feedback serves as a lesson.

The game that redefines ‘sandbox’. Bethesda games have a reputation for longevity; Skyrim, Fallout etc… still have loyal player bases. This game had so much potential and was hyped up for so long only to deliver the worst Bethesda experience so far. Fallout 3 or Skyrim are still more worth your time in 2023. The environments and worlds are empty and dull and full of copy and pasted structures that you will see over and over again as you play the game. The main storyline is also bad. Don’t waste your time with this garbage

After 10 hours, i think Starfield is a little bit overhyped.
Old Bethesda engine, poor facials animations and the game looks like nothing more than Skyrim in Space.
    poor scenarios and exploration.
Good : Gunfights and relative clean game.

A LOT OF HYPE FOR NOTHING.

    - It's not an exploration game at all (very disappointed for this... NMS is 10 times better)
    - It's not an FPS at all
    - It's not an RGP at all

It is definitely a mix of things made very bad.

NPCs/AI, graphics, main story feels outdated and not interested. Would bebetter if it had an online part like Death Stranding with its buildings, or a pvp to test our spaceships. All the grinding is not worth it.

Good thing i have GP for a couple of games that I;m interested in. This is surely not worth the 70 or 100 euros

It is true that you'll find a good number of barren wastelands with little to do other than extracting some resources and take off to more interesting places, but again it really depends on how you want to play. There's so much to do, so many systems and abilities to explore, missions to complete, spaceships to loot, and species to catalogue, that I honestly don't think there's anybody who thinks that exploring every square meter of this universe is the better way to enjoy Starfield.

While it has weak spots and doesn’t push many boundaries, Starfield is still an excellent RPG experience. Bethesda has once again mastered the things it built its reputation on – world building, quest design, and deep customization. However, it’s found new things to excel at too, with exciting combat and a novel implementation of New Game Plus.
