    I have really been enjoying the game. I think it is one of, if not the best, Xbox exclusive/BGS release. The missions are great, exploring planets is so fun and the scenery so beautiful. Also I really like the characters despite what some people may say about them.

    The game has poor performance on Xbox Series X, with only 30 inexcusable fps[^1^]

    Starfield is an occupied game and Microsoft once again proved its rank is lower than Sony and Bethesda studio lost its credibility among players. This game is full of bugs and these failures affect the process of game experience. All NPCs are very artificial and do not convey any emotion

    Critically, Quests and Exploration have been reduced to little more than fetch quests and checklists, all attempts at motivating you to experience the few dozens of procedurally generated dungeons, lifeforms, enemies and vistas on the many but very limited and conforming landscapes of Starfield, a symptom of the numerous compromises that the Bethesda formula had to go through to support its vast emptiness.

    This game is not just one of the worst games Bethesda produced , but one of the worst big games ever produced. This game is a lot worse than Fallout 4, and this is not a high bar at all.

    The only positives: big 'open' world (just a ton of locations with invisible walls), variety of weapons/ship builds and infinite(?) replayability. And these factors are arguable don't mean much, because

    Everything else about this game is a complete disaster:
    - the loading screens, overall terrible user experience (UX) design;
    - the amount of bugs and glitches are astounding (not surprising considering its Bethesda);
    - 'the space travel' is a joke, its just a non-convincing, uninspiring, boring emulation of the potential experience, nothing actually happens in space itself except of repetitive boring ship fights;
    - almost all planets are empty and feel generated by AI, major cities and planets are almost as dull;
    - Lore, NPCs, dialogues, factions and quests are dull and and feel generated by AI;
    - AI of the NPCs is one of the worst I've seen in my life (on par with Cyberpunk 2077 vanilla);
    - weapons and perks are boring and don't provide any interesting and unique mechanics to the game role-playing wise;
    - enemies are repetitive and quickly become tiresome to fight with, the fights are just a shooting gallery.

    Don't even think about buying the game, and I strongly advise you to not even try to play it with the Game Pass, any RPG player and/or space enthusiast (astrophile) would get disgusted by what he would experience.

    MUST PLAY

    PROS
    -The narrative is a big step up from their previous games
    -The combat is AMAZING
    -The Side quests are not just messenger missions; they are even better than the main quest
    -The level of customization for your ship is out of this world

    CONS
    - The facial animations are really bad; Bethesda needs to get rid of the Creation Engine ASAP
    - The space combat could of been better

    Expect more from this game, the hype that was presented was very high which does not fulfill what was promised, graphics that are not next-gen, bad physics that are the same as fallout 4. It has some things that are fun but it is lost when Bugs are presented that break the immersion of the game.

One of the game's most glaring flaws lies in its limited and fragmented approach to exploration. Players had hoped for seamless journeys across the cosmos, but instead found themselves navigating through a labyrinth of loading screens that break immersion and disrupt the sense of a vast, interconnected universe. The promise of boundless space adventure gave way to a frustrating experience of frequent interruptions, making it difficult to fully immerse oneself in the wonders of Starfield's galaxy. This aspect leaves many feeling that the game falls short of the expectations set for it in the realm of space travel.x Expand

    This is my first BGS game except for maybe fallout NV. And I’m absolutely in Love with starfield. Is it perfect? No but this experience so far has been. So all you PlayStation cultist cope because millions of people are enjoying starfield and as they should. Again not perfect but man what a blast so far.

    What a piece of dog crap Is this game: bugs everywhere, fps drops to 0 and 7, the npc IA Is very stupid, when you are approaching a planet you just get a low resolution jpeg image and when you land the planet dissapear, main history only last for 11 hours, tree and vegetation graphics looks like a ps2 game. Dont buy crap.

    It is true that you'll find a good number of barren wastelands with little to do other than extracting some resources and take off to more interesting places, but again it really depends on how you want to play. There's so much to do, so many systems and abilities to explore, missions to complete, spaceships to loot, and species to catalogue, that I honestly don't think there's anybody who thinks that exploring every square meter of this universe is the better way to enjoy Starfield.

    While it has weak spots and doesn’t push many boundaries, Starfield is still an excellent RPG experience. Bethesda has once again mastered the things it built its reputation on – world building, quest design, and deep customization. However, it’s found new things to excel at too, with exciting combat and a novel implementation of New Game Plus.
