Muito bom jogo, merece vender muito melhor. A vertente open world é a melhor vista num jogo da saga, o suporte que o jogo tem recebido é merecedor de mérito e a história é o melhor que a saga já viu.

Rail jump momentum and dropdash go hard but the regular jump physics could have been better. Gaurdians were pretty fun and Titan bosses were an eyegasm but still fun to play. Amazing story that didn't have me cringe for once (I love what there doing with Tails). Ending felt a bit rushed, yet I was still left with a nice taste in my mouth. I hope to see more of this formula in the future. Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Fans of the Adventure series, as well as Unleashed through Generations, look no further. A proper 3D Sonic game in the post-Generations era has arrived. Even with its glaring flaws (*cough* cyberspace physics *cough*), it is clear that Sonic Team wanted to make up for the mistakes of the past. For starters, Pontac and Graff were ditched in favor of Ian Flynn, known for his contributions to the comic series. For the first time since 06, the other characters have had meaningful stories. Amy searches for a way to help spread kindness throughout the world, Knuckles discovers a connection to his home on the islands, and Tails is inspired by Sonic to make his own way in the world (poor Tails went through WAY TOO MUCH TRAUMA FOR ONE GAME). Eggman, meanwhile, becomes the surrogate father of a sentient AI he designed, named Sage. The game also explores the origins of the Chaos Emeralds as alien artifacts transported to Earth by ancestors of Chaos. The open zone, while somewhat chaotic and full of gimmicks, is surprisingly fun to play and contains references to Sonic's history. The drop dash (and now the spindash apparently?!) make a glorious return as overpowered momentum mechanics. Sonic's new moves in combat, while appearing similar to each other at first, have individual abilities, such as having quicker cooldown than others, propelling Sonic into the air, or getting quick combos. The soundtrack is PHENOMENAL, and may actually be better than Adventure's in some aspects (but not all). But the game truly shines in its Titan boss battles. After transforming into Super Sonic, you use all of your upgraded powers to absolutely obliterate the Titans, sometimes even using their own weapons against them. And after all is said and done (and an admittedly lackluster final boss, which must be played in Hard mode to even experience in the first place), any remaining loose ends are either resolved or used as teasers for the final major update. I look forward to the future of the series, and realize that we are only at the beginning of Sonic Team's one way dream (this is in reference to the credits theme on Hard mode, sung by NateWantsToBattle himself). For a new player, this is a fun experience with a few issues in gameplay. For a Sonic fan however, this game is a return to form for Modern Sonic and a game absolutely worth your time. Expand

I didn’t come into this expecting too much. In that respect, it delivered. The islands felt bland and repetitive. The quests were so repetitive that half the time I forgot what the rationale was in doing them. I found myself simply following the waypoints, like a chore. But despite all that, there is still hope that this is the start of something good.

But despite all that, there is still hope that this is the start of something good.

The best thing in this game was running around feeling tiny as Sonic. It felt like being an ant, in a good way. I’d love to see this mechanic in a Zelda or even a future Mario game. The music is perfect too. And that’s it for faultless things…

The cyberspace missions were pretty good, and I genuinely had to put thought in in a lot of them. Being able to choose which missions to do to advance saved a lot of tedium, but the map system was prohibitive in finding all of them. I probably missed a few portals, and definitely didn’t get to all the fishing spots. Technically, the game didn’t help itself. Railings popped in everywhere. By the last section, I found myself having to carefully search for the start and end of each rail, lest it pop out of view, in the search for memory tokens - another tedious and arbitrary quest.

Although the combat was mostly just mashing the same button over and over, it was satisfying - especially when fighting a difficult boss. Speaking of difficult bosses, the final boss certainly wasn’t this. It was very underbaked. In fact, a lot of the game was underbaked. I think for future Sonics, the team need to focus on massive open worlds, where as tiny as you feel, you use your speed and momentum to solve natural-feeling environmental challenges - supplanted with shrine-like cyberspace. They should drop the chimera of rails, hills and portals for a grittier open world. And I do believe the seeds of this game have been sown in Sonic Frontiers, even if it wasn’t the ultimate game.

A beautiful game that gives us Sonic as we’ve always wished him - super fast but in an open world adventure that’s akin to a charming Elden Ring on speed. Clearly made with love and with it’s rough edges being combined with an enthralling soundtrack, Sonic Frontiers is a modern day gaming masterpiece.

The best Sonic game ever made! The open zone is really great designed and every island has it‘s own individuality. I really loved to play this game 30 hours with such a great story. Not like the usual stories without any big plots. This story was deep and was so good written with many plot twists and great character development. Really really great and my favorite game from now on!

Can't help but feel like there's a lot of small inconveniences that bog down the final product of Sonic Frontiers. For game that has had the longest production time to date of any Sonic game, and the lates entry, it doesn't really look like it stands up graphically to newer games.

The models being used for Sonic and friends have also aged, since they've been exactly the same since Sonic Unleashed with nary a change. And the animation has hardly improved since the likes of Forces.

That said, I like the overall atmosphere and an honest attempt at a Triple A title from the Sonic franchise. It tries to change the gameplay up, and because of that it feels refreshing. Not to mention, there are finally decent call backs and nods to previous 3d Sonic games. Continuity in my Sonic game, finally?

I won't rag on the game for what it doesn't have. I still long for Spindash to make a return to a 3d title, and be as good as it was in Sonic Adventure 1. So I will only talk about what's on offer. There is something similar to the spindash in the game, call dropdash. More of a holdover from the recent 2d Sonic titles than anything though. Still, glad to see it in the game, even if it's a little hard to control in comparison to the spindash of the past.

Can't say I enjoy the combat that much, and there's a huge pause whenever Sonic collides with enemies. So I would describe the combat as incredibly stiff. Not to mention, when Sonic gets hit there are almost nary any recovery frames to escape from death. I prefer my combat games to have super smooth action, something akin to Devil May Cry, if at all possible. But Sonic's combat isn't really that varied or sophisticated for that. Not to mention, the camera goes all over the place whenever you do anything than mash X in combat, which can be disorienting.

I liked Big's fishing mini game, though I wish it were more involved and not as simple as it is. It's still a chill thing to dabble into though. And the catches can be hilarious.

Dislike being trapped in 2d sections in the overworld. It can really put a stop to whatever you're trying to do if you aren't engaging in it intentionally, and just trying to get somewhere else on the map. Speaking of, there is way too much rail grinding in my opinion. Would like more variety when it comes to traversal.

Multiple times I've clipped through walls that I'm running over, mainly when it comes to boss fights and trying to run up their arms.

Speaking of running, there's physics in Frontiers, but they're not really that good. No matter how fast Sonic goes, whenever he runs pass a steep decline you can assume that Sonic's feet will default to being magnetized to the ground. It can be incredibly jarring to run toward the edge of a cliff only to see him very suddenly drop straight down. You can mess with the speed of Sonic's on the ground and when boosting in the settings of the game. But I choose not to mess with those, since I believe that the original settings are usually what the creators intended the game to be. And I'd say I was correct too, because as I've seen with others gameplay, turning the boost all the way up makes the dropdash basically worthless in all aspects except for getting up normally unclimbable steep inclines. Not to mention, once you get back into Cyberspace levels, Sonic's speed settings and controls go back to default, which, as far as I'm concerned, shows that default is how Frontiers is intended to be played it.

The Pinball mini game on Chaos Island is a nightmare to deal with. Either the ball is too big, the board is too small, or both. Not to mention the physics for pinball just straight isn't there, and every time the ball comes into contact with anything their will be a lightshow that makes it extremely hard to keep track of where the ball even is.

Finally, there's really nothing to do once you've finished the game. There are no leaderboards for Cyberspace levels, or high scores, or even a reason to keep doing the Big's fishing mini game once you've leveled up your attributes to Max. So, once you've finished the game, that's it. There's nothing else to do except explore and look around, but there's really not much to look at other than the rail cluttered horizon.

All in all, I'd say Frontiers is a good direction. Feels more like a proof of concept than a fully realized game at times though. And Sonic Team... please bring back the spindash. I miss that so much. Or at least give the dropdash proper ball mechanics. Or better yet, both!

Maybe now Sonic Team will give some other Sonic characters their own gameplay or game?

The game's story is also great, but I could find it confusing to someone new to the franchise. The game has good combat as well, although some of the moves feel like they should've been finishers rather than moves you can do in a combo(ex: spin slash, loop kick). The boss fights as Super Sonic feel great to play as well. If I were to point out negatives, it would first start with cyberspace. Sonic's open world controls in this game do simply not work well with linear levels, and as a result, Sonic feels off (and sometimes awful) to control in these stages, especially ones in 2D. The mini bosses (the non-Super Sonic fights) also are hit or miss. They're either fun to play (ex: Ninja, tower), have a ton of jank (ex: Asura, strider), or are just kinda boring (ex: Sumo, shark). This game also has some absolutely horrendous pop-in, it doesn't ruin the game or anything, but it didn't go unnoticed by me. In the end, I'd probably recommend the game, It worth checking it out. When this game was first revealed to be open world, I was terrified SEGA would mess this up. But I can confidently say, Sonic had a smooth transition to open world. Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I’ve been a sonic fan for as long as I can remember and can proudly say that this game has brought sonic back into the mainstream.
I haven’t completed the game as of now but have had over 10 hours on the game.
This game has wonderful story on par with SA2 and SA1’s story in terms of seriousness and quality. This game is the 1st sonic game in a long time to make me feel a strong emotion with the death of the two kocos and strong excitement in tense moments like the 1st super sonic fight. As well as story the gameplay holds up as well; the cyberspace is a bit disappointing but still very enjoyable and they don’t take up a lot of your time - unless you’re trying to S rank them all. The combat is amazing and some of the best combat I’ve seen sonic preform from the sonic boom to the wild rush, it’s all wonderful! The only complaint I really have is the size of the skill tree, but that’s it. This game swiftly placed itself as my fifth favourite sonic game and in my top ten games of all time!

And it is the first one that I’ve really enjoyed and looked forward to returning to since then, though Sonic Generations comes close. There are rough spots to be sure. Pop up can be a bit much at times and some of the battles frustrating due to camera issues, but overall the positives WAY outpace the negatives. There is an almost zen feeling to the “open world “ and the “cyber” levels add the needed excitement spike. Often repeated tip, but go to settings and switch to the Performance mode if your system allows. You’ll not really notice the resolution change, but the jump from 30fps to 60 is huge! This is a great mix of speed and exploration and something I am very excited to see the future of. If you enjoy the Sonic franchise, this is well worth a look! Expand

Sonic Frontiers is one of the great Sonic games, might even go far as to say top 5 Sonic games, only gripe I have against this game is the lackluster controls in Cyberspace, patch that to the point it controls like the open world, and it would’ve been a perfect 10. The open world by the way, is very well put together, visually and control wise. The story is the best of Roger’s era of Sonic so far, next to Colors, and the reference to past Sonic games to make everything more connected really sold it for me. This is definitely a recommendation for longtime Sonic fans and casual gamers alike. Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Here's my honest review of the game as a whole:

While I have the Xbox Series X's lesser half, the Series S, I genuinely enjoyed the visual quality of the game and loved the entirety of the game with a passion reminiscent to when I first played Sonic Adventure, up until Sonic Frontiers released Sonic Adventure was my favorite sonic game, and that for a modern era game is worth a lot. The pop-up of the platforms is still present, which doesn't bother me that much unless Im trying to actively search for platforms. The few glitches I've encountered like at one point with the power boost I phased through one of Asura's arms cause i went too fast, in cyberspace at some point Sonic just stood on a rail while grinding it and I found that hilarious, and I phased through the titans a few times when attacking them, but honestly besides phasing through the titans these aren't necessarily big problems. In terms of the animation this game is from what i think nearly at peak in terms of sonic games, but sometimes like when talking to Amy, the animation can seem kind of stiff or like there's a man in a costume portraying Sonic and they kind of just stand there with little to no movement. Story wise you won't really get the full experience unless you go to every possible story point you can find, which actually means you get more replay value and lore to the franchise at the same time, but even without those extra story bits Ian Flynn's writing is just as good as ever and I enjoyed the experience and little references from past games as well as characters from the comics, even one or two of the old games are mentioned a couple times which I never expected. The gameplay feels like a refined Adventure game to me besides the sort of floaty jumps and maybe slight stiffness of the turning mid-air and when you drop-dash, which of course in the settings can be adjusted to feel more refined. I've never played Sonic Forces and left the game controls as standard so the experience could be as fresh and new as possible to me for both the Open Zone and Cyberspace, and need I say they were right about cyberspace being stiff and weirdly floaty, but much like a few reviews I've seen of Sonic Forces it's enough to be controlled if you know how to handle it well and it's very fun to master, along with the familiar throwbacks to the old Adventure games as well, but the experience while it wasn't the best it is very fun to run through and the open zone was very fluid majority of the time. The puzzles in the game are pretty fun and challenging too and the bosses were creative and awesome to fight, sometimes their mechanics like Squid are reused but in a cool and fun way, even the titans use the same mechanics in the some twisting ways. The final boss may not be what you expect it to be so you may get underwhelmed at first, but if you play on hard mode you will have a better time I will guarantee, it's kind of hard to get through but it's worth it in.. The End.

This new era that Sonic Team has begun will be a great one if they continue to play their cards right, while of course it isn't a flawless start it is a great one, there was more I could touch on like the decent amount of enemy varieties but you should experience it for yourself to see what Im talking about. It seems almost everyone, including myself, is excited to see what's next for our beloved hedgehog.

    So...Sonic Frontiers.

What a game. Mild spoilers ahead, but nothing too terrible for those who haven't played yet.

Where to start...well, out the gate, I'm gonna say this is EASILY my second favorite 3D Sonic game, right behind Unleashed. Probably my fourth favorite in the whole franchise (3&K and Mania are my overall favorites).

Let's get the negatives out of the way first so I can gush: Yes, the game has glaring pop-in. It's noticable af and kinda immersion breaking at times. Does it affect my overall enjoyment of the game? Not really. I just kinda wished Sonic team hid it through like, a digital effect considering the cyber space angle of the story.

The Hard Mode secret final boss is...a thing. Never in my life would I think I would be playing that kinda genre in a Sonic game, but...well Sonic has had multiple playstyles before and I guess they had to make it somewhat different from all the mid-game bosses, gameplay wise...so it's whatever. Hard af tho it gave me 2 extra pity lives cus I kept dying for like an hour. Genuine gamer rage type stuff.

A few of the more minor cutscenes have like...little to no animation whatsoever. It's fine for games like Yakuza, but I prefer when my animated characters are actually ANIMATED, but eh, chalk it up to Sega not giving enough time and manpower to Sonic Team yet again.

There's really only like, 4 islands, instead of the 5 that's being marketed. With the last "2" being asset flips of a previous island. Pretty bummer, but despite looking the same, the platforming challenges, puzzles and enemies are different-ish, and that's pretty cool.

Yeah yeah; Green Hill, Chemical Plant and Sky Sanctuary are being reused for Cyberspace. Again. For the 4th game in 11 years. Even reusing level layouts from Gens, Unleashed and SA2....but, imma be real with you chief, this gripe I genuinely just do not care about. For one, the cyberspace levels are basically optional thanks to being able to find keys in the open zone and big, and for two, the level layouts are still fun and sonic still controls close enough to how he does in the open zone, and I still find them relatively fun...red rings are too easy to get tho. Miss the days when they were actually hidden...

OKAY that's enough negativity time to GUSH

So, this is basically Sonic's first collect-a-thon??? Hello???? That's so goddamn cool! I know tons of peeps have heard and thought comparisons to Breath of the Wild, just looking at the game, but trust me, this is a genuine collect-a-thon like Mario Odyssey, A Hat In Time etc, it's just that the maps are really big cus Sonic is really fast. And THAT'S why they're called Open Zones, cus this game is still FUNDAMENTALLY a platformer, and not a true open world game like Assassin's Creed or Marvel's Spider-Man or BotW.

And SONIC, he controls SO well in the open zones! The turning, the drop dash, the boost, the FLOW. It's all so damn good. Easily, without a doubt, the best Sonic has controlled since the original Sonic Adventure, and it's a whole ass game of it instead of just like...1/3rd or half the game! The Open Zones are varied in their platforming, the puzzles make these rails that make traversal all the more smooth (plus rail jumping is GOATED once you get the hang of it), like yeah the puzzles are simple as hell, but y'know...kids game. Gotta give it SOME leeway.

Speaking of it being a kids game, guess what's actually awesome again for the first time in 14 years? The STORY! Now, it ain't as massive in scope as say, SA2 or Unleashed...or even 06, but it's definitely a step in the right direction, ESPECIALLY in the character writing side of things! A big ol' THANK YOU to the MVP Ian Flynn for this! SO much course correcting from the Meta Era's garbage. I've always said I don't particularly care about story in a Sonic game...and tbh I still don't, but I never said a GOOD story wouldn't ADD to an already GOOD game, and this is 100% the case with Frontiers. Sonic is absolutely BACK in all his shonen glory

...and speaking of Shonen glory. THESE BOSS FIGHTS!!! OH MY GOD! The energy, the STYLE, SUPER SONIC BEING DBZ LEVELS OF BADASS, the MUSIC! These are EASILY, without a DOUBT the absolute BEST bosses in the whole franchise, bar none! I have never popped off so hard at a Super Sonic Boss Fight since the Final Hazard, and there's MORE THAN ONE OF THEM! The game is almost a must buy for them alone, at least to a Sonic fanbrat like me, lol

The soundtrack as a whole is fantastic...but then again, this is Sonic, what else is new? Even Big's lo-fi beats to fish to are bumpin'. Genuine good stuff. Pissed that it didn't get a nomination for best OST at the Game Awards, as it more than deserves at least that.

So, overall thoughts, Sonic Frontiers is not a perfect game by any stretch of the imagination....but it is absolutely a FANTASTIC Sonic game. I highly recommend anyone who's familiar with the series and platformers in general give it a try!

The first Island is an amazing way to introduce you to the mechanics and is capped of with some of the most hype boss fights I've played since MGR! The second Island is a nice change of pace with a fair rise in difficulty as you complete more of the same challenges to get enough of the MacGuffins needed to get to the end of the island.

The reason why this is only a 9 is because of the third island which while fun, was extremely tedious but still worth every moment. The 4th and 5th island seems to show a bit of time constraint because they look amd feel very similar to the first. So around the end the looks were very repetitive. Plus that pop in is uust god awful but still. All in all the best sonic game since Unleashed. ITS THAT GOOD

Sonic Frontiers is a really fun Game. It makes you feel like Sonic, IGN would say that. The Combat is fun, the Speed is very fast at the end of the game, Story is very good, and Open Zones are alright. The Pop In is a big problem, and some missions on the Open Zones are very borng. But Sonic Frontiers is a great step in the future of Sonics Gameplay!

The open world is fun, the combat is fun, and the characters finally feel alive again. However, for a future game, I would love to see the combat abilities expanded upon, I’d like to see a lot of those pop-in rails be more integrated into the surrounding land rather than simply floating over nothing, and the Cyberspace levels leave much room for improvement. Though I really ended up liking the shorter level length of the Cyberspace levels, It’s annoying when many of the stages feel 90% 2D. More 3D focus, better momentum, and the ability to lightdash and homing attack enemies without coming to an immediate stop would be greatly appreciated. Likewise, more unique settings in these traditional Sonic stages would be appreciated moving forward.

The music in this game is a phenomenal step forward for this franchise as well. The edm perfectly contrasts to the otherwise somber, but beautiful piano tracks used for the main islands, and the metal tracks used for each Titan boss are perfect representations of what Super Sonic fights should, and feel sound like. The story does it’s best at tying together many of the character inconsistencies that the 2010s left behind, and it did so seemlessly. Though the finale may feel a bit anticlimactic, this story is easily the best the franchise has seen since 2008’s Sonic Unleashed. The voice direction is by far some of the best we’ve ever gotten in a Sonic game as well, and though I would’ve really liked to see some new character models for Sonic and the others to really give this a new era feel, I’m glad we at least got a far better vocal performance to represent the beginning of this new era.

Overall, it’s a fun game. Can there, and should there be improvements for the next installment? Absolutely, but Sega, do not abandon this formula! It works so well for Sonic, and for once It feels like they’ve finally found the perfect formula for 3D Sonic.

It has some issues, like the physics, specially on the cyberspace stages, or confusing parts like on some island areas, but besides that, it's such a fun game that deserves the title of best Sonic game so far.

The gameplay, music, bosses and open world design are great, and the plot is the most interesting one since Sonic Unleashed, and also the estetic of the open zones remembered me playing Sonic Adventure and Unleashed.
It lacks on the final boss, which is dissapointing, and sometimes upgrading the habilities tends to be really easy when you find out that big the cat and the cyloop give you skill points. And sometimes the cyberspce phisics tends to be weird to control, but you can get used to.
In general is a really good game, one of the best 3D games, but far from perfect.

Boring : the color scheme for the islands is completely gloomy and dead. The piano music makes me wanna sleep. The story has an incredibly dark tone where death is the whole theme. It's done horribly. The character interactions are boring too. Bland : the art direction is a cheap copy of BOTW and none of the ideas here

The game throws a constant dopamine rush that lasts from begging to end. The new open zone format fits the sonic play style perfectly and the traditional levels, even though less challenging than usual are fast and enjoyable experiences.

Sonic Frontiers arrives at the right formula for a Sonic game, no other game in the market offers the sheer speed and movement capabilities that Sonic Frontiers does. Collecting items and doing puzzles doesn't feel like a chore or a checklist, it serves instead as the perfect excuse to traverse the open zone world with Sonic. The combat also fits Sonic well and is integrated in a way that makes perfect sense for the play style of Sonic Frontiers. Sonic's new abilities are varied and fun, the downside is that combat is hardly a challenge, but it makes sense to not shift the main focus of a Sonic game to combat and combos.

Sonic Frontiers deserves to be played without preconceived ideas. It can offer fun in ways that no other game other than a Sonic game is capable of. It offers tremendous replayability. The music alongside the open zone exploration can be as relaxing as a good jazz playlist and the highs of the game keep asking to be experienced again

While visual variety could be a little higher, specially in the Cyberspace levels, the game offers decent enough variety and looks beautiful all the way trough (just be prepared to deal with a bit of pop in of some assets). The most important part, the control of Sonic, is spot on, Sonic has never controlled better in high speed while still being very controllable in more slow, platform heavy scenarios. Traversing the Open Zone is a thrilling treat and despite the repetitious game loop trough the game it never manages to become tedious as you speed trough challenge after challenge. Combat is simple at the surface but has enough dept to keep it interesting and refreshing, it gives emphasis on Sonic's speed and the varied enemy selection, each needing different strategies to tackle, keeps it fresh all the way trough. Bosses are a highlight and will get you hearth pumping. Simply put, the game is very fun. In terms of music, this is an area where the game excels. From the calm open zone tracks, to the energetic cyberspace tracks and the outright phenomenal boss themes, this is easily one of the best OSTs a Sonic game has ever received. Story is more somber and mysterious this time around as Sonic and friends try to unravel the mysterious story of the starfall islands and the fate of it's residents, it's guaranteed to keep you interested at the very least. Best part, however, is how Sonic and friends are portrayed, their character interactions are bound to make long time fans have a dumb smile as they play out, paired with many references and call backs to the earlier sonic adventures makes this one sweet treat for long time fans specially. This game is a great foundation and a good sign for things to come in the future for our fast blue friend. Sonic is back! Expand

I really enjoyed this brand new adventure as Sonic. Almost everything in this game is amazing, from music to gameplay and plot. Cyberspace struggles with some controls problems, but it isn't a huge problem, as you don't even have to play through them to beat the game. Biggest problem is definitely 30fps on series S, but apparently Sega is working on fixing it.

Summary: A fun game with great foundations for Sonic future. Great new ideas just not everything executed well. Nice story, disappointing Cyberspace stages. If you are a sonic fan, you should enjoy this game! Full review below.

As a long time sonic fan i was going into this game not knowing what to expect after forces. I played the at EGX and was surprised, overall the game felt good but i was disappointed by Cyber Space and was hoping that some further polish would be added. Now that i have the game, i can confirm that Cyberspace unfortunately is still the weakest part of the game, i wish it felt more like Unleashed or Generations! They had something good with the formula then, and ruined it with forces and this game hasnt massively improved on where forces failed.
That being said some of the cyberspace levels are better than others but overall the physics let it down, sonic loses momentum after boosting , homing attack. Drop dash is one of the only methods to keep it going. Pop in is still also big issue which i hope they can fix in later updates

That all being said the game generally feels fun, the open zone works, sonic is fast, responsive and exploring isnt a chore. Being able to tweak the controls and other things is great and i wish the physics and contol of sonic in the open zone transferred to cyberspace. It isnt perfect but the pros outweigh the cons, the open zone is great! Its a great foundation for future sonic games!

Puzzles can be a bit easy, mainly the side puzzles though. Game overall needs more polish on the visuals and some of the ohysics as sonic will stick to the ground on some hills but fly off others.
For the next game, please make the environments more sonic like with loops and twists built into the enviromnets rather than relying on rails for the most part.
Upgrades are incoherent between the 2 Kocos.

The story is ok but the script is much much better than previous games. The titan fights are epic and i hope Sonic Team continue this epic scale into future games!

I wish there was more to do after 100% the game as cyberspace doesnt feel good enough to really want to go back to for me, especially as im someone who still goes back to the day stages on Unleashed and Modern generation stages!

Also we need to be able to replay the titan fights!
Also super sonic in stages would be good too

This is by no means a negative review as i enjoyed the game throughly, and it is really really fun, my feedback is mainly for Sega to see (if they do) as I am a huge sonic fan so my rating would likely be higher than a casual gamer who doesnt care too much for Sonic. This game is so close to being something amazing and i hope that the next main sonic game builds upon what Frontiers has done, keeps the best bits and improves the good bits and gets rid of or improves the worst bits.

I spent a lot of my time with Sonic Frontiers having a ton of fun, even if there were just as many moments where I was frustrated and ready to be done with it. This isn’t a great game, but it’s one that should satisfy Sonic fans desperate for an interesting game starring their favorite blue blur, and for the first time in a long time, it feels like the series may have a sense of direction. There’s still work to be done to make it more than that, but this is a big step in the right direction.

Sonic Frontiers is a fascinating move into open world for the Sonic franchise. It's frequently flawed, and doesn't always match the heights of Sonic's best games. But the fact that it occasionally does reach those highs, while offering a totally new experience, is pretty impressive, and leaves Sonic Team with a strong foundation to improve upon.
