Loving it so far! I hope Wizards of the Coast are paying attention and release a D&D game done this way and with this much care and attention to detail. Well, maybe a little TOO much attention to detail. Solasta can be bewildering in its complexity at times.

It's amazing exactly what I want from a rpg. Perfect for dungeons and dragons fans.

Considering the budget this is an excellent entry into the tactical rpg genre. Its most efficient use of the D&D 5e rule set to date. The combat system and leveling system is flawless and fun, the presentation and graphics are surprisingly good. Its mind boggling wizards of the coast doesn't take the direction of recreating their actual rule set with a bigger budget and instead makes mediocre D&D games. It opened the door for Solasta. Expand

Exact rules interpretation of 5E DnD and very fun. I actually learned rules I had missed in my 5E tabletop games by playing this. I'm not the biggest fan of the main campaign, but the dlc and fan made modules are excellent. I'd say hundreds of fan made modules available to the series x. It's probably the best 5E game we'll get at least until Balsam gate 3. Though I think Solasta will be aExact rules interpretation of 5E DnD and very fun. Solasta: Crown of the Magister brings enough new touches to the table to make it a recommendation, especially as it comes with the promise of online co-op and a Dungeon Creation tool. There is more than enough here to keep you rolling your dice for the foreseeable future.
