    An empty, depressing mess of a game. Combat feels awful. Cutscenes don't animate. Characters are soulless. Ai is braindead. Bugs galore. I just... what happened?! The Saints Row reboot has company at the bottom of the barrel.

    It's a decent game wrapped in a whole load of issues, issues I honestly believe can and will be fixed in the up coming days, weeks and months. A nice big open world with some solid gunplay, but, I honestly think if this game was made by any other developers it would score much better. I tip my hat to Arkane for trying something new and different to their other games.

    The game is disgusting, the textures do not load, many bugs, it crashes, the gunplay is crap, graphics are horrible the worst game in Bethesda by far.

The textures and bland colours with no details, enemy AI seems to of been ported from a megadrive game. 30 fps seems to be the goal and not the actual running rate. Disclaimers on the box stating 60 fps performance mode due at a later date so they dont get sued due to it stating 60 fos on the front of the box art.

    This release has done way more damage than just delaying. Its a gamepads game so there was no benefit to launching unfinished other than to pull the team off this and onto the next project but that has just tainted the name of the development house, microsoft and probably lost subs for gamepass. Above and beyond all of that, they are charging AAA prices for this if you dont get it on gamepass.

    I cant stress enough not to buy this, it will just have them continue to release unfinished and sub standard games. Trust me when I say this game will be abandoned by the development team or at best a couple of people will be left to push out mediocre patches with no content and fixes that will just create more bugs.    … Expand

    Just seeing the start menu totally discouraged me and seeing the game in 30 made me uninstall the game in less than 1 hour

    Actually a fun game that was released months before getting finished.

    + Excellent shooting gameplay when foes AI is working normally, gorgeus visuals and atmosphere in general, excellent multuplayer.

    - Broken AI, bad optimization (30 fps is not cool for FPS), not enough content, bad inventory/looting system.

    Hope someday it will be fixed and re-released under updated title.

    I’m having a lot of fun with it. Definitely has some problems that are hopefully fixed with patches soon. I dont recommend buying it right now but I recommend trying it out on game pass and see if you like it for yourself. Really easy to pile on a game nowadays instead of trying it out for yourself and giving it a fair shot. With that being said I hope Arkane Austin’s next game is a sequelI’m having a lot of fun with it. Definitely has some problems that are hopefully fixed with patches soon.     With Redfall wie probably have or GOTY 2023 this early in the Year. The Graphics are Breathtaking and make games like Horizon : Forbidden West or The Last of Us Part 1/2 look like PS3 games. The Details are amazing and the Gunplay is some of the best i've ever seen. The AI is stellar. The Story is left me Breathless throughout the entire game with very interesting twist and turns. This clearly there magnum opus and i have no idea how they can beat it. Redfall has some of the best Level Design you will ever seen.

    This is by far the best Game Arkane has ever made its one of the most detailed OW games i've seen in my Life. Rockstar will have a hard time to match that with the upcoming GTA VI. They really pulled it off. All bets are off now the Sky is the limit for Xbox Game Studios and the Future never looked Brighter.    … Expand

Esta bien, pero no es escusa para descuidar totalmente el apartado gráfico, texturas, sombras, todo, la verdad se ve el poco empeño que se puso en todo el juego, eso sin hablar de lo terriblemente absurda es la IA

    This game has the worst AI I’ve ever seen. It’s beyond laughable what Arkane has put out into the world here, and Xbox needs to be ashamed. It runs terribly on PC, I assume because of Denuvo and horrible optimization. There are hardly any enemies in the world , and the combat is pitiful. Clunky guns, janky movement. It’s all bad. Save your money and time. Not even worth playing on Game Pass.

    Sin ser un juego perfecto, porque no lo es, la historia y la inmersión es de mucha calidad y se disfruta mucho jugarlo, es muy divertido. Los únicos fallos que tiene son los 30fps,la IA que deja un poco que desear y el fallo de texturas de vez en cuando. Yo lo seguiré jugando por el momento.

    This a well sized open world. Storyline is pretty good. I like the art style and movement and gunplay are pretty good. I’m only going to solo so my is based on that.

    Easily the worst game released in 2023 so far. Arkane have always been a mid studio but they hit a new low with Redfall and the fact Microsoft thought this was ok for release shows you how much they care about gaming, Just awful

    I loved the game. Super fun, and it had the benefit of working on the PC (Unlike Jedi Survivor).

    Especially fun to play with a friend. I don't really get the hate unless people had some crazy high expectations. I didn't. And it delivered.

They should have just stuck to Single Player AAA like Prey or Dishonoured type games. That would have been much better than this.     Just a defective game made by Arkane. xbox is litterly dead after this i think. they ruin everything

    It's incredibly disappointing that a once-great studio like Arkane has released such a weak game like Redfall. It's unclear what kind of game they were trying to make, as none of its aspects work properly, whether you're playing solo or co-op.

    Honestly, my only issue with game is the Ai which hopefully will be fixed soon. I play on Series X and I haven't come across any bugs after 4 hours of playing the game and having fun with it. The variety of weapons, characters and the game's atmosphere are great.

Me and the boys have put in over 6 hours so far and just continue to have true amazing gaming moments!! Killing vampires never been so much fun. The open world is beautiful, simply Amazing graphics and the story is definitely interesting as well. Think state of decay meets farcry where you unlock safe houses and take on missions at them as well as sell/buy items/weapons there etc. Overall it's a great fun game yes it has its flaws but if you're looking for fun time with the boys this it.     There is nothing to do in the open world. You can't drive any of the cars. When I shot a car through the windows, it was bullet proof. Instead the car magically set itself on fire and exploded. You can't even open the trunk in real-time, you can't interact with anything in real-time. The physics are beyond horrible. The AI is incredibly stupid. At this rate, I have more confidence in a raccoon solving a rubik's cube than Arkane Studios delivering half-decent AI. The developers added damage numbers to give players the illusion that the game is fun. None of that is fun for me. The plants don't react to your movement. The animations are horrendous. The gameplay is boring and repetitive. The textures are pukeworthy. This game suffers from performance and technical issues. The graphics are pathetic.

    The multiplayer is complete trash. Only the host can progress through the campaign. This game is free on Xbox Game Pass, but what good is any of that when that stupid subscription service is full of low quality garbage. I am sick to death of Microsoft and their fanboys acting like day 1 games on Game Pass is something biblical. It's easy for Microsoft to brag about day 1 games on Game Pass when it's nothing but low-budget shovelware garbage. It's embarrassing when an inexperienced no-name studio like Mundfish can produce a better AAA quality game than an experienced studio owned by a multi-trillion dollar company. Imagine being worth more than Sony, Take-Two, EA, Capcom and Ubisoft combined, only to produce inferior quality to the studios I listed. What's laughable is those studios combined are still a fraction of Microsoft's worth. Lazy cheapskates can't do anything right, besides Forza. Microsoft is a joke.     El juego es divertido y entretiene. Se nota que los tipos que acá comentan solo son HATERS de XBOX. El juego tiene problemas de IA, pero los gráficos ya se sabían que eran así. El juego cumple y jugable. No sé en donde están jugando los HATERS, pero en SERIES X corre perfecto. Yo seguiré disfrutando del juego y subiendo mi nivel y poderes. El juego es recomendable

    Excellent game! People giving 0s are just PSFanBoys. The game runs great, smooth, the story is very attractive. I'm almost finishing It. It's just a must for every player that loves coop games. It's super fun to play with friends.

    I really got no clue why Phil 30fps Spencer was thinking this was a great thing to release in that state, buggy, empty world, no cut scenes.. I Feel bad for the ppl who actually bought this game, one thing is i waisted 100 GB and power to download it on GamepASS its a completely different story to waits hard earned money on this trash game

    Lbox is standing idly by, while their own developers are trashing their own & Xbox reputations.
    Who need enemies when you self-sabotage at every turn.

    Booty and Greenberg can't get sacked quick enough, but because Phil Spender is friends with these 2 incompetent clowns, they will keep their Xbox wrecking jobs.

    I give it a 5 because the game is unfinished, the AI is bad, the graphics are bad, it seems to be from 360, the textures take time to load, some drop in FPS on very popular sites, I hope they fix the game to give it a better grade

    Simply ridiculous what has been delivered here, just as ridiculous as what Microsoft is doing with its studios. Arkane could probably do it better, but they seem to be declining under Microsoft. However, in its current state, it's probably good enough for Microsoft to shove it into the Gamepass. Microsoft and the Gamepass are a curse for the gaming world.

    The game crashed the 1st 5 in into the bugs, the dumb AI. Everything everyone is saying is true. If there were issues here n there that's fine but not like this. I'm playing on my Xbox series s and it looks so bad. I'm looking at trees that look like a blob. I had to stop playing it. I'm bummed cuz this could be a great game.

    Please stop producing video games and their posters using AI. It is all soul-less and boring and obviously it all feels bland and indistinguishable among each other. AI may help you do it cheaper but nobody ain't buying this auto generated crap anymore. We want stuff made by humans with inspiration and creativity.

    Microsoft better get their bleep together or they will be in some serious trouble. I’m cancelling my GP subscription and they will have to seriously earn back my trust to get me back as a subscriber bc this debacle of a game is unacceptable. How do you release a AAA game in this state after the Cyberpunk fiasco?! I know how I just hope they do.

    I don’t understand what’s been happening with the developers lately, with such a simple graphics, only 30 fps, the shooting is disgusting, as if I’ve returned to the Xbox one days, I’m already ready to buy pro versions of consoles, because I feel it will only get worse.

    This Redfall version on Xbox series x is even worse. 30fps looks terrible. My eyes start to get dizzy and blurry and the bugs of the game makes its worse. They shouldn’t have delayed the game for next year. Needs a lot of work. And the AI of the characters are dumb. 0/10 for me.

I'm so disappointed in this game I'm truly heart broken that one talented developers made this game in this state. 6 hours in the game is riddled with bugs and other problems like rendering. The online coop is what kills the experience you...I hate to do this but Redfall is an absolute garbage. I'm so disappointed in this game I'm truly heart broken that one talented developers made this game in this state. 6 hours in the game is riddled with bugs and other problems like rendering. The online coop is what kills the experience you don't progress the host does however you keep the loot like what's the point? Crashes.. this game crashed 4 times during the boss fight in the first section of the map, after I defeated the boss, in menu and matchmaking. It's so frustrating that it's pointless to even continue the game til patches are released cause right now what's the point. 30fps that doesn't stay at 30fps, the 60fps performance mode is at a later date like why? Map is bare.. it's literally empty and it's such a shame the maps are pretty big but lifeless. I honestly don't know how I can rate this game no higher than a 0. The game has potential but in my opinion with patches I really think it's a done deal. Also you need online support to actually play solo. The sounds mute from reloading, running and shooting. I can't recommend this on PC or Xbox. I'm not coming back til they fix alot of issues cause right now my score right now is a 0. I'll come back and review it again after a few patches are released. But yikes it's such a shame that this game was even released in this state. Should've delayed it another year.… Expand

    redfall is a great experience and it has its bad points but the game is fun, the most questionable thing is the difficulty, because the game feels very easy and this is good at first but in the long run it can get boring, anyway give it a chance

    Possibly one of the worst video games I have ever played in my life. 30 FPS and the bugs are the least of this game's concerns. It's fundamentally broken from a game design and narrative point of view.

    This game is literally one of the worst games ever created, hardly any enemies to fight skills that contradict each other with abysmal missions, design and a non existent story that couldn’t even add an animatronic cutscene. Xbox clearly don’t care.

    What else can I add? Apart from the constant performance issues, you get a barren open-world experience with little to no love given by the devs on this project. Ridiculous to be saying this for an Arkane game, of all studios. Save your money, and dare I even say save your time as well by not even trying it on Game Pass.

    Shockingly bad. Slide show cutscenes, game breaking bugs, bad loot, and some of the worst AI I’ve ever seen. Vampires can’t get around objects, enemies forget you existed if you run behind a wall. I don’t even think this game has the bones to get fixed. What a flop.

    The abysmal state of the game, lackluster story and 0 hour review window is an embarrassment for Microsoft and Bethesda. There are no system seller next gen games since launch of the Xbox Series X/S consoles. If things don't get better soon, I'll sell my Xbox. I'm fed up paying for and playing uninspired, crappy games.

Even the Safe Houses, which can be found and unlocked in each district of the map, repeat themselves almost immediately. It's soo repetitive.

    Was excited for this game because I love Bethesda and Arkane games. The ai is absolutely horrible, like, worse than the ones from the usual bethesda games. Another thing i hate is that your friends can not progress when in coop, unless they are the host. stupid decision and i don’t even know why it was made like that because it makes coop less interesting and engaging.     Redfall describes the interests of young gamers today.

    Live Services Co-op multiplayer with no quality that no one cares about in a year because the next game is out.
    Soulless and a disgrace to the art developers show with gaming. I give 4 points here because you can actually turn off your head and have fun. However, I don't recommend it if your expectations of a game are emotionally high.

    Niestety ta gra powinna być w produkcji jeszcze z rok. Latające cienie, doczytujące się przed oczami tekstury, spadające fpsy, ai przeciwników nie istnieje, do tego te nudne questy.
    To jakiś mało śmieszny żart. Ta gra zasługuje niestety na miano gniota roku.

    Played on gamepass. So happy I didn't pay $70 for this game. I read nothing about it going in. 30 fps at 1080p on series x? No thank you. game wasn't fun and looks like trash.

    The result is a game with no identity of its own. Redfall simultaneously wants to be a looter shooter like Borderlands, in an open world like Fallout's, with action like Dying light and a lengthy multiplayer experience like Destiny. But it fails on all counts. The game environments are bleakly empty, the gameplay is wooden. Like the vampires from the world of Redfall, the game has no soul.

    Sadly, Redfall had unbelievable potential and a dynamic studio behind this that is known for quality gaming, but under delivered at quite literally almost every facet of the game. Redfall, unfortunately, should be avoided, and in fact, I hope that the industry starts taking a look at these games and starts evaluating its processes, because if you're only as good as your last game, then Arkane isn't looking good at all.
