    Release after release the Forza Horizon series manages to improve on what made the previous game so good. It's no real suprise to say in this review (even before it was released) it's the best one yet.

    You can tell so much effort has been put into this game, the graphics are absolutely top tier (I play in graphics mode over performance simply because of how good the game looks!)     The progression system (with how the 'story' unlocks) has been changed up and I won't say it's the absolute best because in their own way they've always been creative however they haven't simply copy and pasted from the previous games. With some of the more fun activites such as the major races in street, road and dirt unlocked behind this progression, you're wanting to push on & level up to get a chance to race on these routes (which are some of the longest on the entire Forza Horizon series!)

    A massive selection of cars & races was to be expected for a Forza game and they've not let us down.

    Co-op races has been added as a kind of hub matchmaking area? Where you can essentially matchmake some coop races which isn't a new feature however has its own dedicated area on the map.

    Talking about map, it's huge, it looks amazing all over, multiple environments which affect how the car drives.

    10/10, I can't think of anything I can add that'll improve the current game (I've not even experienced any bugs at a play time of around 30 hours.)

    A solid asset to the Xbox console and FREE with gamepass. A perfect driving game.

    The game simply does not function properly for alot of people. Server disconnect issues, crashing at startup, supported wheels not functioning or being constantly disconnected. For myself it the constant "controller disconnect" issues. Any time I try to use my Logitech G923 I instantly get a "controller disconnected please connect a controller" message. There are workarounds that either do not work or do not restore full functionality (no force feedback for example) Other workarounds involve downloading third party software, and those do not work all the time either. This issue is not limited to Logitech wheels, it also happens on Thrustmaster and Fanatec wheels. All these are listed as supported in the games FAQs. All my drivers are updated, as requested by the game devs, and the Logitech software is up to date as well. I waited till the official release day to leave a review, hoping that the devs would at least give in update on a fix, but there has been none. Not everyone will have these, or the other game-breaking issues. maybe you'll be lucky, maybe you won't> I can't recommend you spend your money on the game until the devs fix it. Once they fix everything it'll be about an 8.5, if they fix it.… Expand

    Well done Playground Games and Xbox Studios for a very fantastic and an extremely well put together driving game, quite entertaining, the best iteration of Forza Horizon by a clear distance. Tried it on both Xbox Series X and 3080 RTX high end PC, gorgeous on both and very smooth. Only frozen once on PC in 10 hours of playing, but not a minus point as a very rare occurrence.

    Es el juego de coches definitivo, es un mundo abierto muy bello y con una cantidad de contenido de gran calidad, esta super bien optimizado y es genial la representación de México que se sale del típico cliché de filtros sepia que se suele ver en el cine.

    Es un increíble sucesor de la anterior entrega, con mapa increíble, en lo personal me ha gustado mucho, lo único malo es el soundtrack ¿qué pasó con m83, con CHVRCHES?     This is the best racing game I've ever played. So many things to do at every turn of the road, even if you drive off the road and fly over a danger zone. Simply breathtaking visuals that really makes you feel like you are in Mexico. Great job Playground games, I will for sure being playing your games in the future!

    This is the best racing game of all time. They took all the best parts of the horizon formula and streamlined it into an amazing gameplay loop.
    Even if you dont like racing, this game is just a blast to play. If you have xbox or pc, try it on gamepass. You will not regret it.

    Just a PSA for the devs: It's 2021 - We do not need human characters / avatars that look like they're from a PS2 Tony Hawk clone. They look awful, the clothes are plain and ugly (are we playing The Sims or a racing game?), the faces are terrible. Do some research, and then please fix with an update, ASAP.     Incredible and a complete blast to play, loads to do, huge map, loads of cars, lots of different race styles. Looks absolutely gorgeous on the Series X and is butter smooth. The definition of a 10/10.

    it looks great, sounds great and plays great but lets be honest... its forza horizon 4.5... there really isnt much new to be excited about, its still an amazing playground for car enthusiasts and its fun, its very good but i just dont see how its a 9 or 10 when its sooo similar to 4, something needs to change for horizon 6 to spice things up a little because im already not too excitedit looks great, sounds great and plays great but lets be honest... its forza horizon 4.5... there really isnt much new to be excited about, its still an amazing playground for car enthusiasts and its fun, its very good but i just dont see how its a 9 or 10 when its sooo similar to 4, something needs to change for horizon 6 to spice things up a little because im already not too excited about the prospect of another one... played 7 or 8 hours of horizon 5 and i feel very deeply like ive been here and done this many times before.

    The game where you drive around more than races to be able to race. To drive, you just need to press the forward arrow. Right and left buttons once in a while. Graphics are very close to FH4. After 4 races I get bored and quit the game.

    É um Forza Horizon 4 com diversas melhorias e adições em uma nova localidade, absurdamente divertido e bonito.
    Só duas coisas me incomodam nesse jogo:
    - Em momentos de oscilação de rede o carro simplesmente trava, arruinando os pontos de habilidade, drifts, etc, que você pudesse estar fazendo. - Por alguma razão, alguns carros possuem uma câmera de cockpit extremamente escura sem nenhum    É um Forza Horizon 4 com diversas melhorias e adições em uma nova localidade, absurdamente divertido e bonito.
    Só duas coisas me incomodam nesse jogo:
    - Em momentos de oscilação de rede o carro simplesmente trava, arruinando os pontos de habilidade, drifts, etc, que você pudesse estar fazendo.

Un sonido excepcional, sobre todo (como siempre) si se juega con buenos auriculares. Un juego que seguramente vaya a consumirme cientos y cientos de horas. Solo es pagar Xbox Game Pass y ya puedes probarlo. Cuando lo pruebes te enamoraras de los paisajes mexicanos y el manejo de los vehículos. La música y la mecánica del festival es muy emocionante en todo momento. I felt transported back to how I felt the first time I played Outrun in an arcade back in '87 and the first game of Horizon 3 I ever played. 5 builds on what has gone before perfectly. There is so much to do, so much to see. But rarely do games allow you just to explore and be rewarded for it. Mexico is a wonderful setting, whatWithout any shadow of doubt, this is the best Driving game. I felt transported back to how I felt the first time I played Outrun in an arcade back in '87 and the first game of Horizon 3 I ever played. 5 builds on what has gone before perfectly. There is so much to do, so much to see. But rarely do games allow you just to explore and be rewarded for it. Mexico is a wonderful setting, what can I say more.. this is the G.O.A.T. arcade driving game, it makes you smile and often makes you gape. Perfect!… Expand

    Playground games did it again! FH is the only franchise where I always preorder. I have always been more than satisfied.
    I am happy to support with full price premium edition.

    Awww man since the 5th I've been playing tf out of Forza Horizon 5. I'm glad they changed some things from 4 that makes more sense. I'm not rushing to unlock the next event I'm beating each event at my pace. The amount of cars is amazing and so detailed. There's nothing available on any home consoles that has anything this good this year at the moment.

    É sensacional pra mim a grande evolução ta em como contar uma história dentro de um jogo de corrida. nós temos voz e os personagens são todos muito carismáticos. A sensação de estar dentro de uma aventura nas expedições é sempre algo que te deixa com vontade de ver mais. Forza hirizon 5 é excelente na sua proposta e com certeza com o mapa/mundo tão vivo quanto o anterior.

    Absolutely stunning open world racing set in authentic Mexico that is full of activities, challenges and expeditions to do. Game offers so many different ways to play and progress. It has crossed benchmarks set by it's predecessor Forza Horizon 4. Thank you Playground games and Xbox.

    Its Amazing optimization. I cant believe this much power in my GTX1060. In game settings high I got it 75fps stable. Also there is in game RTX on feeling. Nice work Playground Games. thanks a lot..

    Honestly, I am a crack user to experience this game. However, after experimenting, I decided to buy it outright, and this is a patent decision, I can tell everyone. The game is diverse in all types of addresses on the map. Pictures, weather,...... God, it looks so real.

    I love the different places, freedom, cars, and graphics. I also love how there are so many different places to explore like the jungle, volcano, beach, city, and more. Thus, all I can say is thank you so much for creating this beautiful game.

    You can't really add anything to all the other reviews. It has all been said and then some.

    Just hand the GOTY award to Playground now, you might as well. It is a stunning and most of all fun game.

    Forza Horizon 5 é espetacular! Pegou tudo de maravilhoso do Forza Horizon 4 e aumentou em dobro. Não há pontos negativos. Aqui os mínimos detalhes são importantes, até por exemplo dar um zoom máximo numa gota de água escorrendo sobre o carro e perceber que até ela reflete o cenário a sua volta. Magistral. Jogo do ANO!

    My friends have trouble opening the game, not to mention that this game is basically supercar simulator. If you are Nine or a supercar fan that loves recycled campaign you will love this game, however if you are not a supercar fan or wanted a new interesting car game, this my friend, is not it.

    After about 20 hours of gameplay, I wanna give my thoughts on this game. As someone who's played the Forza Franchise for years and racing games for longer, everything about FH5 feels right. Forza Horizon 4 was near perfect, but with a lackluster map, and horrible engine sounds the game felt the weakest in the Horizon franchise. But after playing FH5 they have improved every single aspectAfter about 20 hours of gameplay, I wanna give my thoughts on this game. As someone who's played the Forza Franchise for years and racing games for longer, everything about FH5 feels right. Forza Horizon 4 was near perfect, but with a lackluster map, and horrible engine sounds the game felt the weakest in the Horizon franchise. But after playing FH5 they have improved every single aspect of this game and made everything that made FH4 good, great. The sounds of the engines is a massive improvement over FH4 and its map has some of the best driving roads I've driven on in a racing game. The long highway that spans across the map, the winding roads up the volcano that reminds me of the good old Driveclub days, the swampy area that makes me feel like I'm a rally cross driver, each road feels unique and is a blast to drive down. With 11 different biomes, in one second you will be in the canyons of Mexico, while the next you can find yourself exploring the lush forrest. With so many diverse biomes the offer a diffrent feel to each other while exploring the map. Which FH4 struggled to do. Now onto the cars. With over 570 cars yes they mostly from the last game. But think of it as smash, everyone is here, meaning new characters, but in this case cars are new or returning favorites from classic forza games. With the loss of the bodykit maker rocket bunny (most likely due to licensing problems) The game has made uo for the fact of adding 50 new bodykits to this game with new brands like TCP Magic, and KPC Japan. More wheels and a more independent tuning is always a welcome addition New transmissions to add to change your cars gears to up to a 10 speed, having the ability to add new tires like drift tires, offroad tires, and new types of slicks for dry conditions to get the most grip. The ability to rev your engines to hear the actual changes the upgrades make to the sound of your car is a great addition that many fans of the Forza Franchise have been asking for awhile. Now onto physics the games physics have been tweeked to set a more balanced racing. Cars feel more grip and are more responsive in their turning, and with changes to the PR ratings for cars it seems cars are more balanced in what class they belong in and don't seem to broken online. With also changes to the AI racers, the have been made decently harder and give you a good fight. There not to hard where their unbeatable but I do find myself learning to be more consistent on how I take corners to keep up. Now with the last part, the graphics. Forza Horizon 5 has improved its graphics by making the world feel like ultra photo realism grass and bushes look beutiful in 4k 60 fps and irlts render distance is far better then FH4 has done. Being on the top of the map I can see the whole map and it is beutiful when your that high up. In summary Forza Horizon 5 has taken the Horizon 4 formula and has perfected it toake one of the best modern day racer. Forza Horizon proves that graphics ain't all that matters and sometimes you just need to perfect the racing game formula and make a God Damm Good arcade sim racer. Bit now we have been given both of those aspects and im. Proud to see the good reviews of this game… Expand

If both chase cam drivers and cockpit sim drivers could be equally satisfied that would be the perfect racing game. Too many sacrifices were made to the detriment of realistic driving. I don’t see why both driving preferences couldn’t be catered to. I see a future where everyone is happy. Gotta believe. Still a 10/10 for what the game is.    … Expand

    Great improvements from the previous entry. I like the fact that playground is taking a more realistic scenery approach, different from other studios that go for a more synthetic shiny/glossy dark look. This is a very bold move.     Don't let people fool you this isn't a ”DLC game” compared to it predecessor. In every aspect better, progression got improved, much better map, sounds are great and the steering wheel support/gameplay is a landslide better compared to previous Horizon iterations. Most fun i've had in a whule. Playground Games always delivers.
