Expand

It's OK for casual gamers who play 20hrs and move on.
If you are anywhere serious about ARPG this is not the game at least not yet.
It has a good base but lacking in contents, complexity, longevity, endgame... nothing

This game is trash. I was hoping the story would at least be good but it was horrible. Possibly worse than Diablo 3 which I never thought could be.

I don’t know maybe that 2 hander is more like a 2 finger. Also no rune words? The problems keep going on and on.

Boss fights are sooooooo boring and level scaling makes it even worse.

This game is a lifeless and hollow husky of what used to be.

Worth playing the campaign through, it's a masterpiece at that. Remaining of the game might not be as good, but that'd just be a bonus anyways.

And if the game crashes your hardcore character will die, your scroll of escape will not work as stated and blizzard will tell you it's your fault and to reset your modem. If you play more than two yours Blizzard you will not give you a refund. If you do buy it set a timer for 1:50 minutes. When it goes off realise it is all downhill from here and you still have a chance to make the right decision and get an immediate refund. If you play for more than two hours Blizzard's obnoxious customer service team will tell you you have no recourse, the slew of bugs errors and crashes are your fault and you now proudly own it for life. Charge back via credit card is the only sensible recourse. In Australia you can state that the game is "not fit for purpose" (i.e. excessively crashes, excessively buggy and crippling server lag/wait times) invoke the Australian Consumer Law and get your money back that way. The smartest and most sensible choice is to avoid the game altogether. Expand

Most fun I've had in a game in a while. Can't recommend it enough... and don't mind the review bombing. These people need to play Gollum or Redfall and then try to say Diablo 4 deserves that rating.

But the Shop is Running thats importnant not the 2 Aspects they removed (Still no ETA for them)

Not worth the money in its current form, $40 game at most. It may be a good foundation of a game but i'd be pretty disappointing to pay full price buying a house to find out i only got the foundations. It seems like someone just wanted this game shipped with little thought on what people will do after story. Resistances have no place in the game as they have been made worthless for some reason, you simply build for damage and armor. I love ARPG's but i'm already bored of this game. Does it have the potential to be a lot better with future seasons/content patches, yes it does but my rating is on its current state, not its potential. Expand

Diablo is really good,Really good ambiance and graphics, gameplay is fun. I'm kind of a casual so take it or leave it, but i feel like there's enough content to keep you occupied for a while. My only problem is the scaling that does not feel good, but the game is still enjoyable

    I'm a user who played Diablo 1, 2, 3 like crazy.
I bought Diablo 4 Ultimate Edition, took level 14 and folded it.
Why did you make this game Diablo 4?
I think Blizzard is doomed now.

After getting to level 22 and realizing I’ll never gain an edge and get to a point where it will be fun, I just stopped. I’m done. Sure, there are some improvements that need to be made like literally any game. And just like any game, updates will be made to it. You can tell who hasnt played much D2 by the type of complaints they make about D4. its comical. Complaining about grinding/builds/end game content is pretty silly if you liked D2 and played 300 hours or something. People making these complaints are full of it. If you have a decent computer you will have a great time playing D4. Druid all the way.

It would be hard to create a game that would appeal to both the die-hard ARPG fan who will crack out the calculator and spreadsheets to work out the optimal skills, and also the casual gamer who might not have played anything in the series before. I suffer from issues with aiming sometimes on console. But not much else.

Diablo IV is the perfect evolution of the series. The many new features make for a truly modern title, giving us an experience capable of keeping us glued to the controller for many hours, without neglecting the historical and most beloved features of the series. If we add to this a technical aspect of the highest quality, a very accessible multiplayer structure, and a huge end-game, we obtain a majestic title that stands as the best exponent of the action-RPG genre and is capable of bringing us plenty of emotions.

Diablo IV is a social phenomenon and once again sets a new standard for the genre. It's a dark, spooky, action-packed experience. Combat is frantic, fluid and fun, while micro-management of resources and inventory feels better than ever before.

Diablo IV is the culmination of everything Blizzard has set up before to make one ultimate experience. The world is stunning, drowned in a beautiful soundtrack that makes even the smallest moments feel epic. With a deep character system, satisfying combat and an endgame that feels like only the start of your adventure, it's hard not to recommend. Dig in, experiment with classes, fight some demons and loot some dungeons. You won’t regret it.
