    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The game is incomplete in my opinion. The endgame is boring and has almost nothing to do. We don't have any ranking system. The game has too few classes and the developers aren't worried with the balance of them. The inventory interface is terrible, there are missing many slots compared the real need of players and we need some kind of character exclusive storage chest for each character. The first season released content is a joke. The PvP area of the game is dead and they didn't release any new skins for it on season one. In summary we can't accept to pay a expansive price in a game and they release this kind of content as if the game were a beta test... because that's what it seems.… Expand

    Never played a Diablo title before so this was my first go at one, picked a druid because anything that can be a werewolf catches my attention.

    My first issue was at the character selection, like I said I want a druid because of the werewolf mechanic but immediately I was faced with a fat slob of a character model with no ability to change body size. Quickly after that while playing I noticed my characters gear was awful looking in comparison to friends with different classes. The rule of cool is paramount in games I don't know how many times we have to go through this with devs we want to play something that looks and feels cool. Get a body size slider in and get the druids gear looking far better than the trash that's been designed so far.

    Secondly after multiple patches all they've done is nerf our characters into the dirt, I play solo now because my friends gave up and I can't play because my characters been nerfed and I'm playing the way I want with the abilities I want I'm not changing my class around every single patch because Blizzard decides "no you're having fun with that build that's not allowed" As it stands I've given up and won't go back to playing and certainly won't invest money into something I'm not having fun with.     Я все еще пытаюсь дать игре шанс. Мне однозначно понравилась основная сюжетка, понравилось немало сайд квестов. Даже несколько боссов из кампании были интересны. Но сейчас начав играть в сезоне, мне вообще не в кайф. Я через нехочу взял друиду почти 50 лвл. Мне очень скучно играть... Данжи вымораживают вечной беготней.... Мне не в кайф убивать монстров, потому что навыки сделаны так чтоЯ все еще пытаюсь дать игре шанс. Мне однозначно понравилась основная сюжетка, понравилось немало сайд квестов. Я все еще пытаюсь дать игре шанс. Но видится мне что у игры не просто так оценка 3. Она ее отровенно заслуживает за свой скучный контент.
    Все это сверху дополняется ужасным интерфейсом. Инвентарь все время завален говном, которое нельзя одним кликом удалить, его же надо весь проверять постоянно... Где весь тот фан что я получал в д3? Где он? Вижу что они пытались быть как д2, но в д2 интересный дроп, тут же ничего интересного не падает вообще...
    Я дико разочарован, хотя и не могу сделать рефанд потому что первые 50-70 часов играть было интересно. Но сейчас скука смертная...    … Expand

    I've never cared about the story in Diablo games. In fact, I almost always skip it. Beyond that guy telling me about the Butcher in D1, it's all been blah blah blah.

    So the 7 isn't because the story (apparently) sucks. It's a solid foundation of a game. The systems are solid but nothing extraordinary. The combat would probably excite me, but frankly it's so far below Lost Ark in that    I've never cared about the story in Diablo games. In fact, I almost always skip it. Beyond that guy telling me about the Butcher in D1, it's all been blah blah blah.

    So the 7 isn't because the story (apparently) sucks. It's a solid foundation of a game. The systems are solid but nothing extraordinary. The combat would probably excite me, but frankly it's so far below Lost Ark in that respect (and that alone) that it's hard to get jazzed about.

    Not worth $70-100 but certainly worth it if you can get it on sale.

    I'd take 7 more points off for having the most absurdly insultingly expensive cosmetic shop I've seen in a non-F2P title, but at this point that garbage is par for the course.

The big thing was starting the campaign over and realizing that literally the entire design is built to make you wait, follow, listen, fight for a minute and then run somewhere so you can wait, follow, listen and briefly fight.     This company created one of the most successful mmo of all time yet fails to create a satisfying online locked experience and not enough bank space or the game would stop working... only 1 class feels fun and well made the rest are kind of gimmicky or just suck

    While the season 1 patch maybe not well received , i still enjoy this game and understand like most Diablo games its not complete until the last season is over and the new game comes out. I appreciate the constant updates and transparency from blizzard.

Sticking to basic abilities makes us lose our sense of empowerment. Even if you are level 100, even if you build the best, you don't feel like you are getting stronger.     Blizzard knows what they want to make this game great, but have no idea how to do so. Their philosophy and actual implementation are worlds a parts.

    Season 1 is terrible, you don't feel that you are significantly stronger than in the eternal realm. Will wait a few seasons and then see if they can turn it around.

    We played perSeason 1 on launch, Patch1.1.0 really fKd this game.

    Just look at any reviews for the patch or reviews here...

    lack of offline mode is a dealbreaker. if this was playable offline, we'd have lots of mods. modders could fix this mess of a game.

    Just shows how little corporations care about their fans. From terrible updates to screwing you over with pricey battle passes(and currently useless), shows the same level of greed that has been getting worse for many franchises. Blizzard has failed their fan base with their greed and allowed a poor product to be released. Until they rectify this, it gets a poor score from me.

    Disappointed with the game. With the Season we are forced to start new character and repeat 90% of the content to enjoy 10% of content that going to be deleted after season end. Content added to Season is not worth Money and time. Eternal round character got 00% content with season 1 release.     Bought an Xbox Series X Diablo IV edition, had it for one week and they released a patch that made the game the most unfun I ever played. Played the patch for about 1 hour and haven’t touched the game since, would never have bought this piece of **** if I would have known.

    So far D4 has been the least engaging out of all of the diablo series. Clunky gameplay, unrewarding progression, no attainable chase items.

Seriously the state of the game is predatory and just not fun. I honestly think there should be a lawsuit. I looked forward to playing my Barbarian all year but am now Uninstalling the game after less than 30 hours.     There's no reason not to add keyboard and mouse support.
    All devs care is to force player to grin longer to please executives
    It's not the old Diablo series anymore,
    The dark pattern they use to trick player redeeming battle pass is simple unacceptable

    Update: 7/23/2023. The issue still persists. Was locked out for a week because it would crash when any character loaded into game. Tried reinstalling, system wipe and removing my account. Still no acknowledgement even with active forums complaining about it on both Xbox and PS5.

    Bug exists on Xbox series x that causes intermittent to even specific scenario freezes. Blizzard has not    Update: 7/23/2023. The issue still persists. Was locked out for a week because it would crash when any character loaded into game. Tried reinstalling, system wipe and removing my account. Still no acknowledgement even with active forums complaining about it on both Xbox and PS5.

    Diablo IV is the perfect evolution of the series. The many new features make for a truly modern title, giving us an experience capable of keeping us glued to the controller for many hours, without neglecting the historical and most beloved features of the series. If we add to this a technical aspect of the highest quality, a very accessible multiplayer structure, and a huge end-game, we obtain a majestic title that stands as the best exponent of the action-RPG genre and is capable of bringing us plenty of emotions.

    Diablo IV is a social phenomenon and once again sets a new standard for the genre. It's a dark, spooky, action-packed experience. Combat is frantic, fluid and fun, while micro-management of resources and inventory feels better than ever before.

    Diablo IV is the culmination of everything Blizzard has set up before to make one ultimate experience. The world is stunning, drowned in a beautiful soundtrack that makes even the smallest moments feel epic. With a deep character system, satisfying combat and an endgame that feels like only the start of your adventure, it's hard not to recommend. Dig in, experiment with classes, fight some demons and loot some dungeons. You won’t regret it.
