    I honestly don't see why there are haters on here. The game was advertised as an online multiplayer shooter. It has been talked about since day one, that it was made by the original creators of COD. So yes Its online, yes it has features from COD, are you retarded?     I've played the beta on my computer and now I'm addicted , a fresh new multiplayer I've never seen on any other game , the games are fast paced and there's always something to do , destroys this , call titan , destoys titans , kill minions , destroy player , destroy Everything !

    My god the Sony fanboyism on the site is too real.
    Remarkably enjoyable game and it will only continue to get better! Playing the alpha and beta got me immediately hooked on the game and I was looking forward to release for quite awhile constantly watching and re watching videos about it! I highly recommend you pick it up!

    For someone that's been out of the shooter genre for years this game was an amazingly fresh, fun and addictive jump back in. Mech combat adds a ton of fun, as does the parkor and wall running. A few more game modes, customization and weapons and it'll be perfect.

    Played the beta and liked it, played the final game today and fell in love with it. The gameplay is fast and demanding if you want to be top of the board! A+

    Titanfall is the best first person shooter that I've played in a long, long time. I personally got sick of COD and Battlefied 4, so Titanfall was a new and awesome experience. There's tons of different stages, weapons, and accessories to choose from, but the game's claim to fame is the Titans. I love piloting Titans, that never gets old. Anyway, I can't recommend it this game enough.

    Finally we have a multiplayer game with incredibly well balanced gameplay mechanics. Nothing is broken. They even managed to avoid perk abuse with the Burn Cards : you choose three of them from your personal deck before a game, and you lose whichever one you activated when you die.

    1st, 90% of the negative reviews are angry PS fanboys that don't have this on their home console, second, this game is amazing. They did a fantastic job of balancing the game, making fantastic graphics (792p doesn't matter when the game still looks amazing), making it actually fun to play, and adding social integration.     I traded both BF4 and COD Ghosts in for this game after playing the Beta.

    Now playing on all the maps in the real game, and hearing from the devs own mouths they are aiming for a 1080p update or 900p with better upgraded visuals, I am just amazed at this game.

    THIS IS NEXT GEN. The only FPS that is next gen in my opinion.

    Titanfall has changed the way we play online multiplayer shooters. Finally we have a first person shooter that's well balanced with many new abilities and strategies to learn. The campaign is integrated well with the multiplayer. This is an online focused game and all I can say is titanfall has delivered.

The over all entertainment you will get from this game is beyond comprehension. The fact that anyone gives this a zero proves that metacritic needs some way of confirming you actually own the game, because that huge red bar is ridiculous andHonestly, this game is amazing.     This game is incredibly balanced and a pure blast to play. Any owner of xbox1 needs this game, fps fan or not. Not a perfect game but I have so much fun it doesn't really matter. Connections could be better and some graphical issues so overall 8.5. If those previous qualms are fixed w updates I could give a 9.     It's an amazing game. I'm not a fan for fps game, but this made me spend so much time on it. For now I spend more than 5 hours on this game, and ready to spend more. Really I love it so much.

    This is a really great game. Its sooo much better than COD. The bots I was a bit worried about but their more than just fodder. The unlocks are great and I really like the burn cards. The cards add that random element that's missing from most fps. Great graphics and the sound stands out big time. I pick my guns based on the sound they make in the game.     I gave the game a 10 because I had to check it out for myself, and doing so the game is great. it does have a interesting story mode with a multiplayer influence. Its a new way to dive into a new multi-player experience. The style is unique and fun. The titans in it self brings the battlefield to life with pure fun. Of course the graphics could be better, of course we can nag about the fact there are 'only' many weapons instead of milions of them, but none of this matters since this game is the first FPS since UT that gives me tons of pure fun.     The most fun I've had since I got my hands on Halo, or Super Smash bros for the first time. Wow. I forgot that games could be this much fun. This is a must own for anyone who has a machine to play it. I've played on Xbox One. Not sure what these poor scores are coming from, probably people who haven't played the game.     Quite a great game, easy to pick up and hard to put down. Very fast paced but not too hard to get used to, graphics are nice looking but the game play is amazing. Not over saturated with useless weapons and really fun playing with friends.

    Freaking awesome game. The best modes are Last Titan Standing and capture the flag. What Respawn did to balance out the game play was genius Pilots stand a great chance of defeating a Titan. Also you really get your $$ worth out of this game since some matches can last 20 minutes or so. Buy it!! And pay no attention to the PS4 trolls who are giving it 0 stars, they are just jealous.

    Titanfall brings the perfect combination of fast-paced FPS and strategic FPS. Unlike many other games (Cough-cough) they keep the game fast paced by adding in CPUs, which also add a sense of accomphlishment for players that arent necessarily as talented as others. In the end, its worth the $60 much more than any other game than you will probably buy this year.

    Best FPS ever, ignore the Sony fan girl's reviews they're just hating. At first I hated the bots but now it's part of the strategy. It takes skill to tell the difference between the pilots and bots and when to shoot at the bots or let them be. Honestly I would normally probably give this a 9 but the haters made me bump it up one.

    Awesome game that implements the best things from Mirrors Edge, Call Of Duty, Battlefield, and adds robots. This game was system seller for me, and I am glad that I have bought the Xbox One. (No hate for PS4). With this game, you just can't go wrong if you like FPS.

Titanfall IS that massive kick up the arse, believe the hype. While i wouldnt encourage anyone to rush out and buy an xbox one just to play this, as i would not for any game however good it may be, if you already own one or a 360 or a pc and you like games you really must get titanfall. This game is worth every single penny and then some. I could repeat everyting said here already but you really cannot understand until you have played it. if your not prepared to take a leap of faith go and play it at a friends, play it at your local gaming shop, play a demo just play it somehow and you will see. If you listen to all these idiotic haters and PS fanboys and give it a miss you are depriving yourself of one of the most unique and enjoyable gaming experiences ever.     Well, to start off I was not hyped for this game at all. It looked like just some "meh" game. I decided to pick it up seeing as nothing else is coming out soon. In all honesty, this game takes me back to how much fun gaming used to be like Halo 2 and Rainbow Six! I have had nothing but a blast with this game.     Great Game... more complex as you go! I would love a campaign as an Easter present, but the game is legit as is. I am convinced any ratings below 5 have to be Play Station fan boys trying to kill the momentum of xbox. When you look at all of the games that deserve a 1-6 it is laughable to put this game in that category. Flat out crazy.

    If you do not like online multi-player games, then this game is not for you. I can't stress that enough!

    Its a straight up 6 vs 6 fast paced, high action multiplayer. For those worried that there is no depth to the game, there will be free DLC coming, along with the normal pay DLC.

    This is one of the best games i have played on X1 and PS4 up to date. thanks for skipping the singleplayer and put in an online campaign mode, that Works fantastic. The universe lets you see a shooter in another way. fantastic is the Word. thanks for Titanfall

    This is a great game. One of the most fun games I have picked up and played in years. Never even been a real FPS fan. I rated a little higher because I feel most of the low scores are PS4 owners who HAVE NOT played this game and are rating it low out of jealousy. It's getting ridiculous.

    Titanfall is a brilliantly new way of rejuvenating a tired genre. The game play was as much fun as I hoped and well balanced. Most of negative reviews on here are most likely from PS4 fanboys trying to bring down the score. As a person who owns both next gen consoles and the under rated Wii U I don't understand why people feel the need to be so pathetic.

    Absolutely outstanding! Many people who gave this game 1 are obviously PlayStation gamers who are jealous that they cannot experience such a wonderful gift from Respawn Entertainment! As an Xbox One gamer, I would hereby state, that I feel honored to have that game inside of my disc tray every day! It's definitely worth it!

    On a side note, MetaCritic needs to get their act together with the user score shenanigans, I don't think they have moderators at all. It's sad that such a widely used site doesn't care about integrity.    … Expand

Nobody should have rated this game a zero, as it is well made and polished. Now, this game is very fast paced, smooth, twitchy, and fluent. People who are worried about replayability will not be disappointed as far as I can see, as you are constantly unlocking things and finding out new things about each map the more that you play them, that mean that you will destroy your opponents in game modes like CTF as nobody else will know how on earth you got where you were and then you are on the final straight to the end because of it, while everyone else has no clue how to chase you. Chasing. This game is amazing because of that single word. That moment when you are sprinting and start to get shot and you know that you cannot win the gunfight, so you initiate a wall run and the chase starts. Last night me and another guy had a chase that lasted at least 30 seconds, and we didn't touch the floor once, and then I jumped up one wall and started to wall hang and watched the other guy continue on because he didn't see me, so I just killed him. This was just absolutely phenomenal. Moments like that make a game, and there are so many of those moments as you play. People are complaining about the game being overpriced for a multiplayer only game, but the problem is that you knew what you were buying and the fact is that you spend maybe four hours on the campaign and 100 hours on the multiplayer, meaning that devs put in a whole lot of effort for not much reward, and there is only a minority of people who actually bother with campaigns. This game is worth the money as I can assure you that you will enjoy this game if you put a bit of time into it to understand all of the mechanics. People who rate it low because they think that it is COD with mechs also have played the game for no more than 15 minutes. This is the same thing as your dad watching over your shoulder as you play and claiming that all of the games look the same as you are behind a gun in all of them. The fact is, if you play it then you realise how the mechanics differ from other games. This game is different, fun, and a very enjoyable experience that you won't get annoyed with, and I know I will be coming back to this game in years to come, much like I do with COD 4, and claim that I wish fps games are like they used to be.     there was halo, then gears of war, then titanfall. every generation xbox dominates and rejuvenates with shooters. those who graded it as a 0 never played the game and are sourpuss sony fanboys. if the game were on the playstation 4 most people would be grading it as 10/10

    If your a shooter guy who prefers fast intensive gameplay, I would highly recommend. 0 lag on 2 bar connection at >50ping... cannot argue with that.

    Also, Freerunning makes camping a useless tact.

    This game is great nice smooth GFX , fast game play, well balanced, I played this game for hours in a day I can't wait for them to add more to it. The multiplayer campaign is fun and tells a story of the times the game is set it.

    very refreshing game experience, very addictive . it has its online hiccups , but expected do to the super high load of gamers that are playing TitanFall. I like it very much. and I am a Battlefield fan. highly recommend with friends or alone.

    this game is amazing and lives up to everything i thought it would be. literally played all weekend with my friends had no issues. looking forward to sequels and hope to see more of a campaign and maybe a split screen.

    It's important to note that the game has the FASTEST flow on any FPS in recent memory. This makes it so that it's very difficult for anyone to camp or engage in game styles that are considered cheap.

    Titanfall brings new dynamics to a stale genre anybody giving the game a ZERO is just BUTTHURT because they bought a console and there isn't shi7 to play on it but games that reviewed horribly and certainly no GOOD multiplayer games such as this one.

    Pros: Easy to pick up, good learning curve, overall fun, great for friends to play together.

    Cons: Lack of legit story mode, twitch gameplay (I personally don't mind; but some don't like this), 6v6 only.    … Expand

    I have played both alpha, beta and now the final version. Each have shown steady significant improvement. innovative take on fps. fast paced but full of strategy easy to pick up and play competently by challenging to truly master. much more nuanced game than many realize.

    Love this game haven't put it down. The wife even said it looked awesome. And she only likes mario. I look forward to playing video games for once. 9.5 my ten is reserved for batman AK.

    This is the best FPS on console currently. Haven't played on PC yet. It is a shame this site is so negative. If you own an XBO buy it. First time a shooter has felt fresh in a long time.

    A fun fast paced game with a dash of giant robots! Great shooter that I can't see getting old any time soon. Would be great to have an update with building damage thanks to my towering Titan! Now back to the fun on the X1

    This is the best game i have played in a while, its messing my like up because I just want to play Titanfall all day and night. I have been really tired since I got it. If you like fps and action the is a must buy.

My problem is that there arent enough guns but other than that its great as far as shooters go. Fast paced, fun, not alot of camping, and some new techniques to master that arent available in other shooters. Also NO LAG!I gave it a 10 just because its unfortunate everybody is being hateful towards it. Really its around an 8.5-9 give or take a point given your preference towards shooters.     This has been slated as CoD with robots. While there are some similarities in style, the overall feel is drastically different. Titanfall is a breathtaking combination of style and strategy. Well worth the upgrade to the xbox one

    I truly have played this game for about 32 hours now and I am still not bored of it. I mean I tried to go back to play COD Ghost and it was just so freaking slow. I felt like I was running through mud with a 100 pound sea-bag on my back. I was struggling to stay focused on the game because it seemed so sluggish.     This game is really fun. I cant remember the last time i had this much fun on an fps. If your thinking about which console to get, I would lean towards xbone because of this game. ( I have both Consoles)

    Believe the hype. Titanfall is one of the most fun shooters around. I just completed killzone shadowfall and went to this and it is simply amazing how much better this game is in nearly every way. Combat is fast paced brutal fun. Graphically its pretty. It is a must play shooter for fans of the fps genre.

    This game is a master piece. Titianfall is perfectly balanced with flawless mechanics. The game has a wide variety of maps and is visually beautiful. There needs to be more game modes and guns but you can easily play this game for hours on end. Its a must buy!

    Not a big fan of call of duty or such first person shooters but Titanfall is something really good amd different to play. Amazing movement , amazing gameplay. All this pilot and titan stuff works great. One sad point in titanfall for me was the DLC without new achievements and DLC was a little bit poor in content. But i recommend this game to all who just want to play fun action game.

    First multiplayer game I loved to death since Halo 2 in 2004-2006. Learn how to run the parkour routes (youtube it) and you'll be wrecking people so bad that they turn off the game, go on the internet, and tell people how this game sucks.

This game was never going to get 10/10 review scores, because it hasn't got a single player campaign and the 'story' elements are hilariously tacked on. That said, the presentation and polish on this game are absolutely second-to-none and the brief story elements prior to campaign matches kind of make you wish that the story wasn't so half baked.

    That aside, what an incredible new IP this is from the guys at Respawn Games; the first of this generation. The core gameplay is seriously good fun and the challenges and regenation requirements are genius; the latter encouraging you to try out various different weapons and gameplay styles which really teach you everything their is about the game and, by the end, makes you into a much better all-round player.

    Overall, this is one of the best multiplayer games of all time, for me. It's funny that I timed my purchase of an Xbox One for Destiny, but it's Titanfall which has got me gripped.

    Can't wait for the next in the series. I really hope they implement a Battlefield: Bad Company-style Conquest mode, to create a multi-teired version of attrition whereby you move onto new areas of maps and have a specific goal to work towards. That would be perfection.

    My head tells me I should give this a very strong 9/10 but my heart insists on giving it a 10.    … Expand

Parkour is a great addition and the campaign is great, too, it's an interesting idea for a campaign. Reminds me of Battlefront 2's campaign.     This is has been my favourite game on xbox one. Most fun and most balanced shooter ever. The parkour is amazing and steals the show from the titans. Can't wait for the next one. If respawn ups the graphics and gives us more to unlock this game will be epic.

    This game is the most fun I have had in a first person shooter EVER!!!! It is fast paced, easy to learn, but hard to master. The population has recently had a resurgence with some sales and free dlc so now you have no reason to not check it out

    This game is one of the freshest and BEST multiplayer FPS experiences I EVER had.

    It took me back to playing Halo the first time and my first foray into Modern Warfare 2.

    It's fast, FUN, and involves BIG ASS ROBOTS!! How can you go wrong. (No single player hurts tho)

    After the disappointing Battlefield 4 and Call of Duty: Ghosts, the Xbox One finally has a top shooter, which listens to the name of Titanfall. Respawn hit it out of the park with this fantastic multiplayer experience. It looks and plays great, its levels are varied and challenging, and the use of the titans is hugely entertaining. If you own an Xbox One or high end PC, you should own this game.

    Here's a game that prioritizes fun. Whether you're leaping off of walls gunning down enemies or sparring in a Titan, Titanfall has entertainment value at every corner.

    It's short on content, and completely lacks co-op or campaign. But ultimately, it succeeds where it counts most.

Still, the game masterfully balances the play of both. Really, the game is effortless to approach - seemingly complicated at first glance it takes little time to get the hang of. This game has the power to move consoles. It is the Halo that helped make Xbox important back when Microsoft was a newby to game consoles and it deserves your consideration.     I've had no problems with servers and am well on my way to reaching Level 50 by the end of March -- meeting the requirements of a special achievement. It's not a game for people who are unskilled in the fps genre. In its own way, Titanfall is just as much for serious gamers as Dead Souls 2.     I was not impressed at all by the beta, but the full game gave me a chance to revisit. So after two days of intense sessions i have come to a point where i can say i love this game. The game is really addictive! The movement as a pilot or in a Titan is very fluid. The game is fast pace if you find the action on the maps. But as a 6 vs 6 games you can end up somewhere that nothing at allI was not impressed at all by the beta, but the full game gave me a chance to revisit. I think the very strong point of this games is that it brings fun for both the really good players AND the new comers that are not really good at FPS. Visually, the graphics are good, not incredible, it is the Valve Source engine, the nuance here is that Source engine have powered Half-Life 2 10 years ago but the Source engine has greatly evolved since 2004.

    I will keep this short and sweet. Titanfall has excellent balance in weapons, pilot v. titan, and map design. The mobility of your pilot AND your titan make this game a masterpiece on its own. Combat hinges on mobility, and to see a modern shooter actually embrace this concept, then pull it off (unlike Brink) is    Score: 9.5 based on fun, mobility, balance, scope, but lack of modes.

    The warfare/game play is great. It has all the style and thrills of COD and Halo in the same game. Non-stop action. The bots are not bothersome and 6v6 is fine. Sure, 8v8 might be better but these maps would have to be much bigger to support more Titans. Maybe there should be a choice of 6v6 or 12v12 or something but I like it how it is.     Fast paced action on a whole new level. Can't wait to see where future installments take us. Haven't used all the weapons yet but looking forward to play with them. This game will definitly hold me over till Destiny and Halo 5 drop.

    Aside from a few minor quibbles (I can jump across streets and hop over entire buildings, but a knee-high window ledge is insanely finicky to get past?) Titanfall is undoubtedly a great game which does an exceptional job of breathing new life into an increasingly-stale genre.
