While Platinum has done a great job in terms of delivering a solid action romp, the jarring cutscenes and open-and-shut story leave little in terms of replay value. Avatar and Korra fans will likely rejoice at the fact that they're finally getting a decent game.

There was so much potential for Korra when you consider the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for a developer like Platinum to work on the combat, but it seems like the Japanese studio’s B-team showed up for this project.

The Legend of Korra is a more-than-competent stylish action game and a fine example of Platinum’s pedigree, but as far as an authentic Avatar experience in game form? Not so much. Putting a premium on combat, not characters and story, waters down what makes this Nickelodeon series so special.

Even though I admire Platinum Games for what they have achieved this is merely an underwhelming license that showcases a solid fighting system and a bland narrative.

Platinum is great; this game is not. [Xmas 2014, p.79]

There simply isn’t anything here to interest fans of the show, fans of good combat games, or even budget gamers looking for a solid downloadable title for their new consoles.

It's clear that Platinum has some understanding of what makes this cartoon so beloved by fans, but I can't fathom why it would settle for such a mediocre experience in light of that.

If you go throughThis game caught me by surprise as it was very difficult to start fresh in normal mode, when you have no bending or items. If you go through casual quickly you will learn the bosses better and be able to do normal/extreme easier. But after getting past the difficulties and learning the bosses, its the most amazing thing. Its the closest i have ever felt to being ib the avatar state, and it feels so good :D Full Review »

But this game is a really repetitive game... Many bosses are almost copy-pastes and the objective of searching for chests and clearing areas... Is very boring for me.
Even that, i enjoyed the game but sometimes is really boring as i said.
