I loved all the books since avatar: The last airbender. But this game is a really repetitive game... Many bosses are almost copy-pastes and the objective of searching for chests and clearing areas... Is very boring for me.
Even that, i enjoyed the game but sometimes is really boring as i said.

This game caught me by surprise as it was very difficult to start fresh in normal mode, when you have no bending or items. If you go through casual quickly you will learn the bosses better and be able to do normal/extreme easier. But after getting past the difficulties and learning the bosses, its the most amazing thing. Its the closest i have ever felt to being ib the avatar state, and itThis game caught me by surprise as it was very difficult to start fresh in normal mode, when you have no bending or items. I felt that I needed to make this short pros and cons review just because of how much I disagreed with Gamespot's and IGN's review scores. This opinion is based on the fact that I have beaten the entire game in one sitting (~3.5-4.5 hours) and played a decent amount of the probending, which is unlocked after you have beaten the game.

Pros: +Feels like a Platinum game gameplay wise

    Pros:
+Feels like a Platinum game gameplay wise
+Great for Korra fans and character action game fans
+Runs at a constant 60 fps with no dips (AMD FX-4300 & AMD HD 7850)
    +Great voiceacting
+Art style in game and in cinematics is nice
+Cool final boss albeit not a real Korra villan
+All 4 elements have a specific time in which they are used
+Probending is a lot of fun
+Difficulty (normal) feels good, not too easy but certainly not too hard, looking forward to playing it on extreme
+Counters can be a high risk high reward on certain enemies

    Cons:
-More times than not counters do way too much damage
-Enemies sometimes have a tendency to wait turns and attack
-Cannot fluently combo different elemental attacks with each other
-Story isn't up to Korra standards
-Only three real boss battles in the game
-Not much replayability because you seem to unlock mostly every item just one time through
-Naga segments are a chore and are unnecessary
-The platforming is awkward and there is way too much of it
-Repetitive enemies and mostly bland locations (Somewhat understandable due to the $15 price and time in development)

On a scale of 1-10, Final Score: 6.8/10 (Good)

Final Verdict: Buy it if you are a fan of character action games, are a Platinum game fan, or are a Korra fan. Wait until it goes slightly on sale (~33-50% off) if you don't consider yourself either of those things. I do consider this a game many can enjoy, it just depends on how much you are willing to pay for it.

I'm giving this game a tento even it out because this game does not deserve the hate, it's a great game with a great price but the story does lack but it makes up with great fun gameplay smooth graphics and an overall feel of avatar so I recommend this to any fan of the show and people who like this type of game it's also got lots of replay value. The Legend of Korra manages to be a competent venture in to the Avatar world while suffering from some storytelling issues.

Button mashing brawlers are usually not my style, but I'm making an exception for this game as it embodies a very strong attempt at making a good Avatar game.

The story is lackluster with some strange voice acting. I don't think any of the original cast voiced themselves and it shows. And honestly, that's my strongest critique against it.

For $15 or less, Korra is incredibly fun. And I recommend it to anyone who enjoys brawlers or Korra fans who want to have a bit of fun bending. If it cost more this review would be a lot more critical

It's not perfect by any means, but it's going to be the best Avatar universe game we get. It's fun, and that's what counts. If you're a fan of either show and enjoy Platinum Game's products, you'll want to check this one out. It's 15 bucks, not bad for a good time!

The Legend of Korra is nothing like its animation. While the combat looks fluid, the game plays horrible. First of all everything looks really bland and boring, there is little to no detail to be found in the entire game. While it has got some form of Avatar lore, it is basically overlooked easily, cause it doesn't add much to the game nor the universe.

While fighting can be fun, the game really takes it fast too a new level of tedious. Block this, block that, dodge this etc. Most of the bosses have a wait till it attacks so you can counter attack mechanism. It is the only form of doing damage to them. Which makes it a waiting game. Lets talk about Naga, well the lovely Polardog is just sad. Ever wanted a Avatar version of Temple Run, well this is it.
And last, Pro Bending. It is fun to get all your attacks blocked and have to wait it out until he stops blocking, while your team mates just dodge and do nothing but stand around and look pretty.
The game has got its moments, but are easily overlooked by what is not to love about it. Which outweigh almost everything this game has to offer. I really wanted to love this game, but there is nothing really Avatar like about it.

The Legend of Korra is just like its animation, you can really see that! The combat in the game is nice and very nice when you compare it to The Legend of Aang – The Burning Earth. The shop in the game is actually good, you can buy combos and extra powers etc. I really recommend this to any fan of the show.

Nice graphics, but small plot with high complexity. Platinum Games could do better , but the fights they have done well . Maybe the is experiment...

It was a surprise to me because I thought it would be like other poorly made games based animations, games such as Ben 10, Justice League, anyway ... Besides having a pretty graphic (cel-sheding) is a very difficult game. I died several times in this game, and it looks that I am a good player of this style of game. The only negative point is that it is a game for fans. If you're expecting Bayonetta out of a $15 game, you're going to be as disappointed as you are delusional. For a $15 arcade game, you couldn't expect much better.

Im a huge fan of Korra, so from that perspective I like the game. However, its REALLY repetitive. Chi blockers, triad, mec suit, over and over again, with different outfits. You can really only use one element at a time though, and theres not a lot of long range attacks. All in all, for 15 dollars its well done, I just wish it wasnt the same four enemies over and over, that is my biggest complaint. Still glad I got it! Expand

To be a $10 game I was most definitely not disappointed.I can see how people can hate do to the lack of detail, but if you see past that it is a really fun game. All the movements are fluid, you unlock new ailitities as you go ,as well as different clothes and, objects. Over all I would give it 9.5/10

Otro buen juego por parte de Platimium.
Divertido, bien adaptado dentro de la serie animada, con un buen gameplay.

We were expecting a great Platinum Games action experience but we found a flawed and rushed game, something we'd find hard to recommend even to Nickelodeon's series fans.
