A pleasant surprise, mixing an original and entertaining "ballistic" mechanic with well known strategy games elements. Implementing cross-play with PC users has been a great idea too, enabling us to find more people to confront with.

Siegecraft Commander meets our expectations being a quite entertaining game, however, it's campaign was very plain and further it seems like the game lacks the multiplayer mode.

I absolutely adore the crisp, comedic visuals and I even find the storytelling pretty humorous. The gameplay itself is testing (in a good way), and the overall concept is well thought out. The problem is, that damn control scheme really does take some getting used to – and that’s even after switching away from the horrid slingshot method.

A very solid game mechanically, visually and technically. I love that the developers took a very different approach to the tower defense genre and I think it paid off. I hope in the next iteration there can be a little more balancing to how the pace of a match works. Overall, it is definitely a good choice for players who like the action-oriented tower defense variant like Dungeon Defenders and Deathtrap.

Siegecraft Commander is an extremely good idea poorly done, especially on its console versions.

Siegecraft Commander is an interesting attempt at creating something different and new and for that Blowfish Studios should be commended. It’s unfortunate that, in the end, they’ve created something which doesn’t quite hit the mark.

The play controls are oversensitive, the building mechanics are poor at best, the game delivers no incentive to play past the first level, and it slows to a crawl should you build too many towers.

Unfortunately the game just gets annoying and repetitive after a while, ultimately falling short in keeping you engaged for any significant time.

Siegecraft Commander is a game that can become entertaining but fails in the performance of technical elements and the main gameplay. In this strategy game we must lead our army to victory through the right decisions. It is an intuitive and fast game but with poor control and technical failures. In addition, it is somewhat slower than other strategy games of its kind.

Siegecraft Commander will grow on you, but how much, I can't say. The controls and the rubbish drawstring aiming spoiled it for me, and with a better implementation of those things, I think I would have found less to fault about the building chain mechanic that could actually have been quite interesting.
