    With clear references to After Burner, Star Fox and Space Harrier, Redout Space Assault takes us into outer space combat in an experience that feels like something out of the arcades of yesteryear with several modern twists. It may not win an award for innovation but fans of the genre are sure to enjoy it.

    RedOut: Space Assault reminds of classic on-rails shooters like Star Fox 64 and Rez, adding much more content and a satisfying spaceship development mechanic. It might not be as memorable as those classics, but it's definitely a suggested get for lovers of the genre.

    God awful.

    Enemies follow the same patterns. Your ships accounts for 1/3 of the screen. The space between your ship and enemies firing at you    God awful.

Leveling up your peashooter is far from rewarding. You cant shoot if enemies aren't directly in front of you. Your reticule is fixed in front of your ship making your ship feel like a cardboard toy.    … Full Review »
