    We appreciate Moon Studios' attempts at creating something unique, but not all of their attempts were uniformly successful. The ambiance is what makes this a great game as you want to explore everything about this beautiful world. Too bad the platforming bit is too dependent on luck.

    Ori and the Blind Forest imparts a beautiful and intricate framework of the platforming and progression that came to define latter day Castlevania and Metroid titles, but it can't muster the same technical and design prowess to fuel its own ideas. This leaves Ori as an adequate model of its revered genre, just short of the execution and innovation that could have made it exemplary.

    Absolutely gorgeous and the soundtrack is amazing. The gameplay is fluent and very satisfying. The gameplay is intense at points and itAbsolutely gorgeous and the soundtrack is amazing. I got the game with high expectations, and those expectations were more than met!
    The characters are lovable, even though there is hardly any dialogue.
    This game is truly a masterpiece and you can really see the passion put into the game!
