Dec 9, 2020Equally beautiful and frustrating. After almost 2/3 game behind me, i'm not sure where to go next, and can't even think about enduring even one unnecesarry minute in this game. What i hate about it, are theese trial and error parts, where you need to memorize game sequence, constantly dying.

Aug 31, 2020was somewhat enjoyable for the first couple of hours, but the combat and platforming soon became an absolute task. I honestly hate this game so much. I only ever tried it so I could play Ori 2, which IMO is what this game should have been.

Mar 12, 2015I've been excited for this game since I saw it at E3 and ended up completely hating it. Didn't expect it to be nothing but trial and error with terrible combat and an awful saving system that can completely screw you over. The controls are far too finicky for some of the jumps you have to make and you die in one or two hits at most. Not my type of game, but at least it's pretty.

Jun 2, 2015This game looks amazing and was very fun to play... until you reach the water level. There is a clipping bug that prevents you from getting out of the water and an entire water-level. The developer is aware of the issue and will not respond to multiple requests for patches or refunds.

Mar 24, 2015Very beautiful and very broken. Some players report a flawless run, but enough (including me) have the sad duty to report game-breaking, progression-halting bugs that, due to the good-in-theory flawed-in-practice Save system, force you to throw out your save and start over. It's acceptable to have bugs, but it is unacceptable to not provide failsafes, such as autosaves, to avoid starting

Jul 9, 2021Fix jumping mechanics u noobs. Stupid devs. Can't even double jump and this stupid game requires u to quad jump.

Jul 12, 2022A 7 year old game breaking bug still exists. Say what you want about cyberpunk but nothing stopped me playing that game. First hour is great but be very careful when pushing rocks or you might just encounter the bug and decide you can't restart. I'm disappointed I'll never get to see it all!

May 1, 2015Ori and the Blind Forest is still enjoyable, obviously…it's just that those strengths are so strong that it's hard to imagine what would've been needed for that one ever-so-slightly-weaker element to match up with them. Nonetheless, it's still one heck of an accomplishment, and it's well worth your investment.
