    Not a good game. The game takes too much control. Too many balls thrown into the dirt at the most inopportune times, blocked field goals/punts, dropped passes, etc. You know when these events are going to happen to. If you're playing well and up big, the game forces ugly things to happen. You may argue that it's just EA trying to make the game challenging, however, rubber banding asNot a good game. Good reads, audibles, play calling, gets beat by the system because of such effect. It doesn't make the game fun when your RB fumbles 3 straight possessions because your up 2 tds in the 4th qt and the game needs to make things interesting. It's just annoying.… Expand

    Horrendous **** This nonsense where the kicking mechanics SUDDENLY changes out of nowhere for a game changing kick in SINGLEPLAYER on PRO DIFFICULTY is the biggest amount of **** I've ever experienced on a madden game. Go **** yourself, EA sports.

    this madden should been rated lower then 5.9 stars,i wish ea sports was fire and espn nfl 2k got the nfl liensce and the. exclusive rights for ESPN 2k to make a real college

    Okay first off they don't know what a overall is if I play a overall 77 team with a overall 90 team you would think the 90 overall would do at least semi-good right no not according to Madden 17 I love the Madden series don't get me wrong but the may have killed with this. it is a good game I do like it there are just some things that need to be fixed.     Anyone who says this is a good game is delusional it's terrible the players are on ice skates and stif as a board until they actually collide then they look like they've lost all control of every motor function in their bodies! It's utterly ridiculous to see a defender charge in then go limp like a noodle. Doesn't simulate football. I find myself watching every replay in APF 2k8 it inspires me to play it over and over because of how true the animations and shear football mechanics look and feel! It's amazing that Madden still can't say their better than a 10 year old game. So like a sheep every year I believe the hype about madden that they will deliver and iit NEVER happens. So I've decided to play a fictitious league in APF 2k8 and boycott the NFL until Maddens monopoly of ripping off the fans expires in 2 more years! Anyone who is reading this go back and play APF 2k8 and be amazed.....to the uniform creator all the way to the stadiums and the gameplay it embarrasses this garbage that EA sells!… Expand

    One of the worst Madden games ever made. Gameplay is not great controls and running needs a fix. Couldn't even enjoy anything about the game if the gameplay sucks. new modes don't even matter if the gameplay sucks

    I am not sure if the professional reviews are being paid or what. But this is the second worst madden of all time only one that tops it is madden 15. This game feels like you are playing on ice. They have removed all RB juke moves and have turned madden into a complete sim and removed all the user skill from previous maddens. I am shocked a appauled by this crappy version of madden

    So many issues with this game. It's unbelievable how people consistently support it and constantly overlook all the awful things about the game. This game is the epitome of style over substance.     This game is the epitome of style over substance. Even on quick presentation, the game drags with all its constant and unforgiving popups. Having a problem switching defenders before the play is called? That's because you're not allowed to do it until the popup that blocks the screen showing your "Slot Receiver" concludes.

    And I bet you thought it was just a problem with your controller or you weren't doing it right. Try it out. It's absolutely the popup.

    I've had to force close the game about ten times in 24 hours (or about 4 hours of actual play time) because the game freezes when loading certain settings. Trying to save? Good luck. That's when it freezes the most.

    The game forces you to watch things you just dont care about. I want to get into my next play, not watch two members of the opposite team talk to each other. That's what choosing "quick presentation" should be for.

    With everyone praising the physics of the game, I find it laughable that people become rag dolls on tackles and look as if they should be breaking their legs being constantly bent backwards, or at least have some major ACL/MCL tears. Praise all you want, but they look ridiculous.

    The menus are just painful to navigate through. The lag going from one menu to the next is just painful. This has to be the worst menu system, both functionally and because of lag, of any game or app or program I've ever seen.

    It's amazing this game has so many fans. I'm truly dumbfounded.

    Madden 17 sucks, don't play it. There are WAY too many fumbles, interceptions, and dropped passes. Even if I manage to throw the ball before it's stripped from my hands, it either gets intercepted or dropped by a wide open receiver. The new kick blocking is cool until the CPU blocks two of your kicks in a game and three kicks over four games. Madden 17 is jam packed with sloppy football.Madden 17 sucks, don't play it. There are WAY too many fumbles, interceptions, and dropped passes. Even if I manage to throw the ball before it's stripped from my hands, it either gets intercepted or dropped by a wide open receiver. The new kick blocking is cool until the CPU blocks two of your kicks in a game and three kicks over four games. Madden 17 is jam packed with sloppy football. Franchise is better than ever except for the fact you can't negotiate contracts. Either you give the player exactly what they want or they test free agency. Play calling is also bad. It always suggests the same plays on every down. There is no play calling variety. I'm not even going to waste my time, and yours, on how bad the soundtrack is. This Madden is nothing but frustrating. Don't play it.… Expand

    $60 for last years game with updated rosters and a much worse soundtrack. You can download new rosters on last years game for free and keep the soundtrack. I want my money back!

    A 60 dollar patch... sorry but each year the same thing with VERYYYYYY minor changes that could easily be patched for free... Or at least call it a DLC then that you could upgrade to the new version for no more then 9.99 $. So tired of this EA crap doing this for all their licences each year over and over again.

    I'm disappointed in this game and the Madden franchise since its leap to Xbox One. My biggest gripe is player movement.

    Supposedly, movement of the players is becoming more realistic. For me, it feels like your player is made out of rubber and your first step is taken out of a bucket of molasses. Also, the ball carrier tends to make spin moves and jukes at times when I don't want to. It    I'm disappointed in this game and the Madden franchise since its leap to Xbox One.     While Madden 17 isn’t a huge leap for the franchise, it does a fantastic job of continuing to move it forward. With stellar graphics, vibrant commentary and intuitive gameplay it is certainly amongst the finest games in the series and, at this point, it’s difficult to see where the next dramatic improvement for Madden can come from.
