    the multiplayer is broken- you can't see your friends online, you can't join games, i can't even get into a multiplayer game by myself. so unless you want to play the campaign why buy the game until they fix it?

    I wish I could give it a 9.9/10. Everything about it is absolutely glorious, with the exception of some of the remastered sounds in the Halo 2A campaign. I just miss the old sounds of things like the SMG, Sniper, Ghost and some stuff like that. Its only a tiny detail, but options in the menu for that would be awesome (even if they might be unnecessary)

    One can't ignore how outdated these games feel, even with the graphical polish. I'm looking at you Halo 1 and 2. It's still the classic games we loved 10 years ago, but now the controls feels so clunky and the environments fell barren and lonely. Master Chief moves so slow!     It is the best pack of the year !!! Not only have 4 games is one, you have two fully renovated graphically and all in HD and 60 fps.
    There is little to say about how awesome these games are, they not only changed the way we see the shooters, their story and plot are striking, besides containing all the best online (speaking of consoles).

    Halo: MCC is an excellent game. You get hours upon hours of content for such a small price, not only that you get access to the upcoming Halo 5 beta which is a prize in itself. If you love Halo then purchase this, you will not be disappointed.

    I was overjoyed at the fact that the Halo Collection was coming out. I could finally have all of the remastered games in one place. I went to the midnight release and got back around 12:30 I couldn't wait to play. I inserted the game and waited three hours for the massive 88 gigabyte download to install. It allows you to go into the game until its fully downloaded only to get your hopes upI was overjoyed at the fact that the Halo Collection was coming out. I could finally have all of the remastered games in one place. I went to the midnight release and got back around 12:30 I couldn't wait to play. The next day after 8 hours of downloading I was finally able to play. I tried to invite my friends to a party and it didn't work. So I tried again. And again. We ended up playing only 2 games in 2 hours. Do the difficult math and that is one matchmaking game an hour. I had more fun just using the xbox as a cell phone to chat with my friends and make jokes while we endlessly tried to get the game to work. I miss the good old days where 16 people could connect with ease. Now all I do is accept an invite to connect and not connect. What is the point of inviting someone if it doesn't even work? I would rather play solo Sunset Overdrive than try to play multiplayer Halo. You should never hear anyone say that in your life. If you don't believe me then go see for yourself. Go try to connect to a game of team swat, after 45 minutes of waiting come back on and post for yourself. If you can prove that you played 3 games in 45 minutes then contact me and I will personally give you 100 dollars via Paypal. That is how confident I am. The only reason I rated this game a 3 is because of the legacy. Back to Call of Duty and Destiny whose makers actually do things right.… Expand

    This is easily worth it's cost, and those who have not yet got to know this particular piece of console gaming history can get easily introduced.
    Pros: Cheap Piece of history in the gaming on the consoles Co-Op value Cons: At this price? These are just matters of opinion, I find none. Summary:    343 industries have polished story of Master Chief in the well working package.

    Best value in gaming right here. I've always enjoyed Halo. As someone who likes science fiction games, Halo is a series that holds a place in my heart. All 4 games included in this collection are my favorite games from the series made to look prettier and generally run better than before. Also included are all of the original multiplayer modes for all 4 games, all of the maps for all 4Best value in gaming right here. I've always enjoyed Halo.     This is by far the best game/gift on any console to date..... I never thought I would see the day when they remastered the greatest games of my time. Im 34 and Halo CE came out when i was 21. All the LAN parties that took place were amazing! Halo 2 brought xbox live and I played online so much I never got to play the campaign before some moron stole my disc...

    Halo 2 on this disc looks amazing! The lighting, graphics and character movement look stellar!!! I havent even seen Halo 3 or 4 yet so thats for later.
    343 did a great job organizing this game. One may get overwhelmed if they didnt do it right but they did it perfect! Nothing has changed in these games and back when they were originally released, I think the lowest score they got was a 9 or 9.5 and thats why I am giving it a 10. Its got the same great game play we have all grown to love with Halo, it looks 10x better, its smooth and now every game is online... Perfect 10 for me.    … Expand

    I've been playing Halo since Combat Evolved, and this is the best package to get me up-to-date again, just in time for Halo 5 next year. I love the graphic improvements, and gameplay-wise they didn't change anything, good job 343i.

    I m a ps4 owner, but today I borrowed my friends xbox1 and i must say - its wonderful, amazing and in one word - great collection of games... Now I can understand you dear billyboys.
    9 points because it is great game cll for nostalgia and guys like me , who want to feel what does it means. But as game of 2014 it is not great. And -1 point because there is oonly master chief, i wanna    I m a ps4 owner, but today I borrowed my friends xbox1 and i must say - its wonderful, amazing and in one word - great collection of games...     A halo dream, everything is perfect, It has every map and the Halo 5 beta. This brings home all the classics we know and love and really shows how much the FPS market has sucked compared to what it is today

    This is 4 classic, amazing games in 1 package with 100 multiplayer maps. Incredible!

    This is an excellent game, the graphics are beautiful, the gameplay is fantastic and the story is great ( for all 4 games) and I only needed to pay 60$. This is a must have for xbox one owners and in my opinion is the best game on it. Not talking about the campaign, the multiplayer is nothing short of excellence; it is balanced, competitive and a lot of fun. Waaaaay better then destiny,This is an excellent game, the graphics are beautiful, the gameplay is fantastic and the story is great ( for all 4 games) and I only needed to pay 60$.     The master chief collection is good for any one who has played halo not so much for people who have not i feel if people who never play Halo 1 or 2 are not going to play the classic online which is a big part of the collection and Halo 1 Anniversary graphics are not impressive.     Last of Us Remastered was an ass of a remake mainly because it was a "REMASTERED" version of a game that came out less than a year ago. Master Chief Collection however, is a great game for the amount of content it has and the just the replay ability alone can hold anyone over.

    This game is everything i wanted as an addition to the Halo franchise. Every moment of the game had a huge impact and was full of nostalgia. I know that there are 6 or 8 years old kids playing this game, but i have always enjoyed the story, the gameplay and the world design. Most people prefer COD or Battlefield as a great FPS franchise, but i will just enjoy this great franchise with aThis game is everything i wanted as an addition to the Halo franchise.     Anyone who gives this game a 0,1, whatever is just being stupid. There is too much good in this game to add up to a zero. Basically, look at the critic score if you want a sincere review (as always with Metacritic) because the user review is riddled with fanboys and people who probably haven't even played it.

    Halo MCC pretty much one of the best games to start out with if anyone was to get a Xbox one, the collection of 4 great games running on there own engines is a nice touch but it does have a few minor problems from launch that will most likely be fixed soon enough.

    Even tho the first two were on original Xbox they shine fairly nicely due to the treatment they have received, specially Halo 2 with there new cut scenes and updated graphics. The feeling of each game still shows but even then that wont stop you from enjoying them. Personal note, as much as I love the first three the fourth I find not as great but still a fairly fun ride none the less.

    With the single player each game has returned with there own multiplayer and that even means Halo 1's multiplayer tho if I'm not mistaken is actually the PC version thanks to the new weapons that was only on the PC release. As much fun I had playing them already I will admit, the servers on day one lack greatly, taking plenty of time to get you into a game if you can even get in one that is. Patches will fix this but as of now it's kind of a bummer not being able to hop into what ever game you wish as quick as you want.

    With all of that said it is great to replay all four games once again, looking back from where it started to where it last ended really does put a smile on your face.    … Expand

For the price you cant beat the amount of quantity and quality of gaming. Its a must have for any xbox one owner. If you like the games before you will be extremely happy.     If you are a Halo fan, heck if you are a fan of video games, this is a must for your collection. $60 for 4 games is a steal, and I am so excited to finally be able to play through them all! True the graphics for the first two games may be a bit dated, but man they look good considering, and at 60fps they run buttery smooth!     Its Halo a collection of quality games that comes in quantity as well. We get the best of both world's. Definitely the best remaster set to ever come out. Best part is the game is older then 1 year and isn't a flat out money grab like TLOU.

    Don't see how this is anything less then a 10, it's exactly what they promised it would be and more. 4 games all remastered, Halo 2 and 4 are by far the stand outs, they look like true next gen games especially 2, and switching between the old and new graphics is hopelessly fun. The combat from 1 and 2 still hold up surprisingly well. Seriously, if you are new to Halo there hasn't been a deal like this since the Orange box and this is better than that. Sorry Gamer hipsters, i know you play half life 2, we are all really impressed.

    One of the clear games that deserves a ten..anything less than an 8 is from a trolling sony fanboy disregard it..this is truly a gem! If you own an xbox1 its a must own, and if you don't own an xbox one this game just made it a must own. Get on it!
