Mar 8, 2017Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is a much better game than its predecessor. The game tackles most of the problems I had with the first game by bringing me a much vaster world than before. Even though the first few hours are quite boring, the game has a lot to offer series fans.

Nov 1, 2016An exemplary slice of fan service once again, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 also succeeds in being a rewarding game that even non-DBZ fans will find enjoyable. Obviously, fans will lap up every last bit, even if the combat does persist in being a bit of a button-mashing exercise. That aside, DBX 2 is a marked improvement over its predecessor.

Oct 31, 2016Players of the original Xenoverse will be annoyed at the simple rinse and repeat of Xenoverse 2’s already repetitive gameplay. Fans of the Dragon Ball series who haven’t played the original will be pleasantly surprised at the amount of content on offer but constant grinding, repetition, and simplistic gameplay may turn players away from Bandai Namco’s second attempt.

Nov 8, 2016Dragon Ball XenoVerse 2 makes some massive strides towards improving on some of the deep flaws of the original game. It’s just a super-shame that it also forgets to actually add anything to that foundation to help it feel like a true sequel. I’m just Saiyan’ that is.
