The game is actually Batmobile: Arkham Knight. There are several, several missions that force you to either chase or to fight as the Batmobile. If you love racing games, you'll love this game. Even the predator missions are meant to be completed as quickly as possible. If that's your style, you should be just fine with this game. If, however, you like the more Assassin's Creed style of gameplay of devising plans and then patiently executing them step by step, then this game is not for you. It's disappointing that this game couldn't include more options for different styles. The potential is there, but sadly it's very narrowed. Expand

The parts of the game where you play as Batman are really quite fun, and reminiscent of the prior Arkham games (e.g. Arkham Asylum, Arkham City) for those sections of the game I would give this game a solid 8/10.

The Batmobile sections are terribly designed, have horrendous checkpoint placement (resulting in your having to redo excessive portions of the game that could easily have been behind a checkpoint)).

For the horrendous development choice of forcing the player to play GTA Gotham City, I cannot give this game more than a 3/10.

Absolute disappointment. If I wanted to play a DRIVING game, I'd have purchased one. The batmobile is a TOOL, not the star. If Microsoft would get off their collective rears and correct their false advertising (Yes, you can play your X Box 360 games on XBox One!), then I could play the Batman games as I wanted them. BATMAN, not "Batmobile: Featuring Batman".

I hate driving games. Had I

  1. Somehow, monotone side activities are a perfect match for the game’s atmosphere of bad dream you just can’t wake up from. Disarm a bomb, secure an outpost, disable a watchtower; disarm a bomb, secure an outpost, disable a watchtower; repeat ad nauseam. After 100% completion you’ll feel as tired as Batman himself. An uncompromising, visionary conclusion to Rocksteady's Arkham trilogy, Batman: Arkham Knight is the world's greatest detective in the world's greatest superhero game.

So obviously there were a few things that I didn't like about Arkham Knight and some things that I wished were done better, but overall I did enjoy my time with the game.
