In terms of plot, this game perfectly completes the trilogy, closing the Batman arch. But as for the game mechanics, the authors did not bring anything interesting, and the missions using the Batmobile are a little annoying. But you still want to play it against the background of the latest games from this studio

A lot of people forget Arkham Knight is the best of the trilogy gameplay wise. the Tank battles got a little repetitive and wish there were any regular boss battles without the tank but it's still a great game.

The last of the series and definitely not the best. This game could be the best but the story is a little annoying and some forced batmobile missions were a little too much. This game definitely need a 4k update with stable fps in the future. All in all its a good game. Long live the Bat!

Everything with the Bat family, the nuances of Scarecrows goals, and Batman's personal trauma in the game are so well explored, and it all emotionally resonates. i think this is what sets the game apart from the other two. The first two games have great stories that have awesome twists and turns and do amazing villain work, but they never really develop batman and the bat family, but this game does in a really intense way that earns an M rating.

The gameplay is the peak of the series. The combat, puzzles, and movement feel the best it has felt yet.

The city of Gotham is beautiful, I have always said that art style is better than graphics and this game has both. I played it for the first time in 2022 (the whole trilogy for that matter in about 2 months). It looks so good on Xbox series consoles. The graphics, art style and atmosphere is so good and immersive. It is always raining in Gotham and that adds so much to the atmosphere. It feels like a old school detective film.

My biggest complaints with the first two games was how repetitive combat feels, and this game answers that critique with the addition of the Batmobile. I know this is the low point for most people in the game, but I have a different take after playing all three games in a row in 2022. The Batmobile adds much needed gameplay variety. The issue with the Batmobile is not how much it is used in the game, or how much time you spend in it, but the lack of enemy variety for Batmobile combat sequences. It was refreshing after three Arkham games to play so differently in the Batmobile, but this part of the game ran into a familiar problem of poor enemy variety (all three games struggle with this). The Cobra tanks are the absolute worst, are tedious, and annoying. The Batmobile is super fun, but the combat sections get tedious and repetitive because of poor enemy vehicle design and variety. But that does not change the fact that this series needed the change of pace with the batmobile, and that it is fun to be in and drive around.

Let's talk about the open world. It is amazing, this is Gotham city at its best. It is a beautiful city that I think is just big enough. There is plenty to do in the world, lot's of side content, and really good extra missions and storylines to tackle. What I find most impressive is that the side content is just enough. There aren't 100 different tiny questlines but around 15-20 well made and thought out quests that offer variety.

This game also has some really good dlc and great double hero combat (Nightwing and Batman fighting together is just too good!).

Overall this is a fitting end to this amazing trilogy. I think it is the best, I don't get the hate for this game at all. I encourage you to play all of them. This one is currently on Gamepass too which is a hard to beat deal!

'Batman: Arkham Knight (2015)' is, as of now, the final main instalment in its series. Although it isn't quite as good as 'Batman: Arkham City (2011)', it ends the story on a solid note and is a fantastic game from the second it begins. Although it isn't quite as good as 'Batman: Arkham City (2011)', it ends the story on a solid note and is a fantastic game from the second it begins. Its narrative picks up after the gloomy end of its predecessor, taking things in a somewhat new direction when Scarecrow - one of the highlights of the first game in the series - rolls into Gotham with a plan to bring it to its knees. There are some really interesting characterisations here and the title does quite a bit of exploration when it comes to Batman's innermost fears and anxieties. Of course, it also has a couple of less successful moments. However, the overall thing is compelling and entertaining right the way through. The gameplay is probably the most refined it has ever been, tightening up series-staple mechanics while introducing several new gadgets and abilities. The combat is as deep and fluid as you'd expect, while the predator encounters are as challenging and suspenseful as ever. It's all really exciting and often contextualised within its wider world. That's because this time the entire city is explorable, from its highest rooftops to its shabbiest alleys. Soaring over the rain-soaked city as searchlights blaze their circles into the sky is simply stunning. Beneath its grimy aesthetic, the game really is gorgeous; the jump in generation between this title and the last is evident. The thing's most major new mechanic is the Batmobile, which has proven controversial among fans. Personally, I think it's a great addition. The car mode provokes an intense feeling of speed and the tank mode satisfyingly allows you to deal out some heavy damage. Perhaps it is leaned on a little too heavily in some scripted segments and in some of the Riddler's puzzles, but it's an enjoyable element of the experience that never truly feels cumbersome. Besides, it can launch you into the air, which is indescribably fulfilling. The city itself is peppered with stuff to do, all of which progresses side-plots than can result in you apprehending several well-known villains. This is great because it means that there is no busywork. It really is a treat to see your progress in real time, as Gotham PD fills up with the likes of Two-Face and the Penguin. Of course, there's also the elusive Riddler to contend with. He's put his trophies all over the place yet again and given you another set of lore-based riddles to solve. They're all tied to a series of 'Saw (2004)'-like traps and, this time, the completion of thse bring you one step closer to freeing Catwoman (who has been captured by the rogue and assists you in her own escape). This a great way of making the Riddler stuff seem even more urgent than it has before, as it directly impacts a playable character who is an important part of the series. The game, as a whole, has a strong sense of urgency to it. It supposedly plays out in real time and it pushes the Dark Knight to his limits. It's filled with effective storytelling, engaging characters and exciting gameplay. It's an extremely enjoyable experience. 10/10 Expand

I didn't like this one as much as I did like Arkham City. Open world sounds great, its big, lively (with criminals) city is breathtaking to be honest but thats about it. Most of the open world stuff is repetitive and boring. Roaming around in Batmobile is fun but Batmobile missions are atrocious and there were so many of those. Some side quests are much better than main story.

The Batmobile sections are terribly designed, have horrendous checkpoint placement (resulting in your having to redo excessive portions of the game that could easily have been behind a checkpoint)).

For the horrendous development choice of forcing the player to play GTA Gotham City, I cannot give this game more than a 3/10.

The tank combat is my favorite part of the game due to the fact that you can do so much with the batmobile like fight other tanks/APCs, or do a race or even parkour across buildings you never thought you could take this giant hulk of a car. The stealth in this game is still the same from the previous title but i personally don't think it needed to be changed anyways. The controls aren't the same but it's not game changing or anything it's pretty easy to adapt to. Expand

If you know, what i like is fun, i dont usually care about stories in games becuase they are too long to me, or just generic. The game has a lot of mechanics that like ign said: Makes you feel like batman. Each time you improve it is a big improvement in combat, exploration or just easy traversing the big gotham.
My only problem is the batmovil, not that isnt fun, just that sometimes especially when is a main story, and is a life or death situation, is not very reliable, i died like 20 times in the escape of the arkham knight nut thats about it.
Mark hamill is excellent in this game as always, is one of those few games that you not only continue to see whats next to play, but also whats next in the story.

Also altough not a big issue is ridlers trophies, they are fun, but there are too much of them, and men did it took me a while.
This is game is almost pinacle storytelling for me, a really functional gameplay and just a really fun game.

Amazing game. Expectations were always going to be above what will be delivered. Having said that, the gameplay represents the best in the industry, the story is good, car play unfortunately over emphasized, taking away from being the Batman.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. First off, the previous entries - Asylum and City - are perfection and if you haven't played those already, go and buy the collection, you wont regret it! (ignore Arkham Origins, it's beyond terrible).

Now, onto Arkham Knight. The backdrop this time is the City of Gotham, with it's art deco/gothic architecture, lent from the Tim Burton films and the 90's Animated Series (perfect). The story's main protagonists are the Scarecrow and the mysterious Arkham Knight, who have launched a city-wide attack causing the whole population to evacuate in terror. The only ones who remain are the usual faces from the caped crusader's rogues gallery and their goons, who are aiding Scarecrow and the Arkham Knight in bringing down Gotham and its masked hero.

Currently at the time of typing this up I'm 50% through the main story and have been playing for roughly ten hours or so.

The controls to me are very odd because for Asylum and City the controls were the same but this time around they have been altered slightly - for example, in the previous two games clicking RB after applying some explosive gel to a surface would have detonated it but in this you have to click in the Left Stick. Also, detective mode is now toggled by pressing up on the D-pad as apposed to LB. I found, on many occasions that muscle memory kicked in and I went to do certain actions but ended up doing something else due to the changes.

The games have not had the Batmobile in as a drivable vehicle until now! What a dream, the Arkham series finally allows you do commandeer the Batmobile. Brilliant! WRONG! The Batmobile is probably the weakest aspect of the game and each one of the forced driving sections left me bored beyond belief - they probably don't even last that long but with them being so tediously mundane they felt longer than they actually were. The controls for this were shockingly awkward. Forget everything you've ever learnt about driving in games and prepare to be thrown by the strange configuration that left me feeling less and less like Batman and more like some random bozo that had got behind the wheel and was just pressing random buttons. It's also very apparent that the layout of Gotham is not made for the caped crusader's vehicle and is more for the traditional grapple/flight traversal - the streets are so tight and winding that I was constantly breaking due to a sharp bend or some large obnoxious object in the way of the road. Now, I'm no expert but I can't remember a time seeing Batman going about 20mph while chasing some goons? I mean, the animated series used the sound of a speeding jet for Batman's car! The Batmobile really drew away the genuine feeling of being Batman that the last two games achieved perfectly.

I found a lot of moments really broke the flow of the game as well - in the last games, you were in constant contact with your trusted companions, such as Oracle and Alfred, through your audio uplink in the batsuit, this allowed you to make your way to the next objective while also being filled in with important information and story points. For some reason, in Arkham Knight you are forced to stop (sometimes for up to a couple of minutes) while you have a holographic call through some snazzy gadget on your wrist. This got tiring very quickly to the point I just skipped most of it because I wanted to get on with playing. The interludes with Lucius Fox were also very tiresome - having to break away from the story to select a mediocre upgrade for my Batmobile and then having to go to a hidden garage to then have it installed and then having to watch said installation for about 30 seconds like I'm supposed to be impressed like "cool that machine to just took the tyres off and put new ones on that look even more snazzy than the last ones. Woah technology". Boring, just get on with the game please!

The story wasn't bad but it wasn't great either and it's blatantly obvious that Paul Dini, the mind behind the stories for Asylum, City and many of the iconic episodes for the Batman Animated Series, wasn't involved. Rocksteady instead decided to bring in some of their own writers to pen the story of this instalment and it really shows. It's nothing special really and lacks the twists and turns and overall genius that the others brought to the table.

Overall, the game is worth playing with it being the final instalment in the Arkham series but it is certainly the weakest of them all sadly. Odd controls, a mediocre story with the only saving grace being the combat and setting.

Rocksteady nails the atmosphere of Batman every single time, and this time is no differnet. However there are many shortcomings this game possesses which makes it a disappointing finale to the Arkham series. First of all let`s address the elephant in the room, the batmobile. I think it was a great improvement to add Batman`s signature vehicle to the game, however Rocksteady forces it far too much to the point where I almost forget I`m playing a Batman game and rather some tank simulator. The game as a whole has a prominent militaristic vibe which sets it apart from the other games. Rather than chasing down the Joker like in previous games, you`re going toe-to-toe with an entire private army. While they nailed Scarecrow`s look and personality, the main villain also comes up very short as you rarely even interact with him. When I first got this game I was expecting experiences with Scarecrow to be similar to the ones in Asylum where you hallucinated and fought a giant version of himself. None of that happens in this game as there aren`t really any boss fights in this game in general. Boss fights are what made Arkham Asylum, City and Origins so good. For some reason Rocksteady ditches this idea entirely in favor of bland, tank battles. This game does shine in freedom and side quests in my opinion. The side missions in Knight are very unique to each other, and each time you`re doing something different which keeps it interesting. The map is a lot bigger than its previous entries which gives you lots of room to speed around with the batmobile in. The environment is largely destructible as well which adds a lot of polish to the world. Also, this game`s overall atmosphere is incredibly dark (which explains the M rating). I think this is a strength to a Batman game, and the constant psychological battle Batman undergoes is what makes the story so interesting. Overall, this is an incredible Batman game, however compared to its predecessors and considering this is supposed to be the finale, it is very disappointing. I know they could have done better. I was going to give it a 7, but I realized that it doesn't deserve that score for how lazily the designers made this game Not calling it a bad game, but it did not live up to my expectations. Batman: Arkham Knight is abour batman trying to save the Gotham City along with the entire east coast from Scarecrow's fear toxin, of which makes people go crazy and come in contact with their worst fear. Scarecrow, also has a partner named Arkham Knight, whom knows about Batman. His identity his moves, his tech and his amor. Batman got some of the fear toxin in his system while stoping Scarcrows first attempt at unleashing his fear toxins into the entire east coast, that fear toxins is making Batman lose his mind and he not only has Joker in his head, he's turning into him. The charaters are pretty great (Espessically the Joker) and the voice acting is spot on. I won't really get into details, because hate given people spoilers during reviews, but I guess you could guess storyline had a lot of protential. But it's flawed do it's repetitive missions and over used methods we've seen in former Batman Arkham games. Most of them feel like the side missions. You go fight a group bad guys or when facing a number armed thugs you have use the attach than hide method. Not that there's nothing wrong with doing that, because they included pretty nice combat tactics, weapons and tech. It's just they over use it. The Boss Fights aren't all that repetitive they're just terribly implemented. The Bosses normally hide behind they're guards so you have take out the gaurds before you could get them. The Batmobile another issues. If the designers knew it was going to be used through majority of the game they could've made the controls better, make it drive like a real car and not make slide all over the place like the road's made of ice and done more things with it. Besides drive to locations all you really do with is blow a bunch of drones (of which are really fraustrating because there's a lot of them on the street) or do the Riddlers trails. Not to mention how over used it is. Driving isn't really enjoyable, so I'd prefer you just get from one place to another the old fashioned Batman way, which by the way is really fun still. The way Batman moves is little clunky though. Graphically it looks good, especcailly the rain. I like the way it just slide off his cape. Batman Arkham has great combat, parkour, good replay value great idea of a story and great setting (Could've been bigger) But it's flawed by it clunky controls, uninteresting villians (Besides the Joker and the Arkham Knight) bland and repeitive missisons, the Batmobile, and copy and pasted side missions which delay you completing the game. It’s very good, but just like Christopher Nolan’s “The Dark Knight Rises”, it’s also the weakest entry in the series. The much hyped addition of the Batmobile is a disappointment and the game (as a whole) is too similar to what came before. But it features a terrific story  and the graphics are absolutely phenomenal. This is the best Batman has ever looked in a video game. The presentation is extremely cinematic; the visuals seem to be inspired by Nolan’s movies as well as Zack Snyder’s Watchmen. In terms of gameplay, “Arkham Knight” sticks to the formula of the previous entries, while adding new moves to the acclaimed combat system. Once again, as Batman, players travel an open-world environment and as they progress, they receive new abilities and the options to upgrade them. As in previous games, optional Riddler puzzles are scattered throughout Gotham City to solve.

Ironically, the plot echoes the ones featured in both "The Dark Knight Rises" and “Batman Begins”.  Gotham is being threatened on a massive scale by Scarecrow and his deadly toxin (just like in “Begins”). His partner, the mysterious Arkham Knight, acts similar to the way Bane did in “Rises”. Dressed in military fatigues, the masked Knight commands a paramilitary army to hunt down Batman. As the Caped Crusader attempts to stop them, he is constantly haunted by the memories of the now-dead Joker. The game's tone is surprisingly bleak; it’s darker than its predecessors. As I played “Arkham Knight”, I was constantly reminded of the similar downbeat “Metal Gear Solid IV”. Surprisingly, it received an ‘M’ rating despite the lack of extreme violence or adult content . The gameplay is very similar to past installments. As Batman, you can explore the city to discover side-missions, solve puzzles and investigate mysteries. Rocksteady has loaded the game with plenty of Easter Eggs for fans to discover. They’ve also created plenty of free add-ons including "Batman V Superman" skins.

As I stated before, this concluding chapter of the “Arkham” isn’t perfect. The Batmobile doesn’t control as smooth as it should and the formula is too familiar, but Rocksteady still manage to end their trilogy on a high note. Despite the flaws, this is a great open-world action game. Fans of the franchise and  the DC Comics brand as a whole, should enjoy it immensely. I’d rank it with a 9 out of 10.

The only bad experience I have with this game that's worth mentioning is the batman mobile. What was at first the biggest selling point of this game and a cool addition becomes a major flaw. It's overused, which makes the game mundane and repetitive. It could of been implemented way better. Your use the batman mobile in combat more then you use batman. I really enjoyed playing Arkham Knight. I did not play Arkham City or Arkham Asylum, but this game was very much fun to play.

Some of the sidemissions were too repetitive and you have to use the batmobile too often in my opinion, but the combat is good and I liked all the different characters in the game.

This sequel to "Batman: Arkham City" is the conclusion to Rocksteady's very own Dark Knight trilogy. While it falls short of being a perfect 10, "Arkham Knight" is still an excellent game. Unfortunately, the addition of the Batmobile is not a great one and the familiar structure gives off the feeling of deja vu. But the experience is awesome thanks to a terrific story, satisfying combat and an amazing open-world environment. Taking advantage of the current-gen's graphical capabilities, the developers have crafted a visual tour de force. Gotham has a dark cinematic look comparable to the NYC of Snyder's "Watchmen" and the detailed character models are a marvel.

The main plot is similar to the "The Dark Knight Rises" with Gotham being terrorized by Scarecrow and his partner, the Arkham Knight. Of course, it's up to Batman and friends to help put a stop to it. The game's tone is darker than its predecessors, but it's not enough to justify the earned 'M' rating. In fact, there isn't much gore or profanity; just mature themes and the usual action-heavy cartoon violence. In addition to the campaign, Rocksteady has loaded the game with the Challenge Rooms, Riddler puzzles and trophies of past installments. I cannot comment on the season pass since I do not own it, but there are some nice free add-ons including the "Batman V Superman" skin. Overall, "Arkham Knight" is a game that is a must play for fans of the series. It may not dethrone "City" as the best in the trilogy, but it's an excellent accomplishment nevertheless.

Enjoying this one like the others, I'm mixed about driving the bat mobile, although it's very cool, the controls are odd. Graphics looks fairly nice (albeit raining and night time).Fighting appears to be (a lot) easier compared to the others? just mashing X button till everyone is dead.
However all that said it's pretty engaging and a hell of a lot of fun.

How awesome is it to be the most badass super hero in the DC Universe? I’ll tell you. It’s the awesome-est. The fluid fights and the stellar combat is where this game is unrivaled at. From Asylum to Knight, the combat has never failed.

However, the Batmobile seems to star in it a little more than the title character. It’s not too bad in my opinion though. Where I think this game struggles is the story. Although the ending is badass, the reveal of the Arkham Knight’s identity and Scarecrow not really doing anything despite being the main villain is a bit underwhelming. Batman's end of the story is not bad, but the rest is rather dull. I won't get into more detail in order to avoid spoilers.

Other than that, you can bet that Batman will be Batman.

Comprised of confusing and uncoordinated combat, poorly controlled batmobile segments, unworthy dlc, repetitive side quests, and no worthwhile boss battles, Batman Arkham Knight is a disappointing send-off for an otherwise beloved modern game franchise.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Arkham Knight was an empty game with as much filler as they could muster in. Let's start with the batmobile. Oh my god, this was so tedious and annoying, having to do these parts every other missions, the stealth elements they try to put on the batmobile was so annoying. The story was alright at best, the Scarecrow was so boring as a main bad guy. The plot twist of Jason Todd being Arkham Knight was so predictable, how they kept having Batman relive Jason Todd's disappearance. It was so obvious. The final part of the main story, before knightfall protocol was amazing. Him revealing himself was awesome, and his little internal struggle with the Joker was a near flawless ending to the game. But the militia missions and destroying their checkpoints and all that, was awful. The combat system was good as always but fighting all those different enemies seemed like you're biting off more than you can chew. The riddler challenges offered a challenge with nothing in return, besides for being able to check his missions off your checklist. Putting all the villains in the cell together and watching them bicker was a lovely little touch. Rocksteady could have seriously stepped up their game, and made it like Asylum or City, but we got an extremely mediocre game. Expand

What start out as frustrating little editions to the combat system, actually end up being the difference between a good combo and a GREAT COMBO.

I do still think the batmobile is forced upon the player a little too much during the main storyline missions, but the side missions that are specifically designed for batmobile combat are highly enjoyable.

The team-up combat was also a fine added feature, but there maybe could have been more with some added variety.

People will get hung up on the whole Arkham Knight issue, but that didn't bother me. Who else could it have been?

I thought the storyline was excellent, almost as good as City.

Overall, a good edition (they say conclusion, but we'll see) to a fantastic gaming series.

The main story was a pleasant experience with the best parts coming from a mental battle within Bruce Wayne himself. Scarecrow provided the generally plan of "destroying Gotham and the batman" with some help from his hired gun, the Arkham Knight. Some major villains were left from the lime light this go round but have a dlc bringing them back into Gotham. Huge highlight was the ending cinematic, which differs if you end at 80% or strive for the 100%.
Gameplay mechanics feel the same as the previous games mostly introducing a huge metal box, the Batmobile. By the end of the game it sure did feel to overstay its welcome, having to use it in most puzzles or buildings but it wasn't a terrible thing. Its the freaking Batmobile. With the size of the new Gotham it was useful to have for traveling. The developers did a really good job adding in more detective moments through the games compared to previous Arkham games, big props for that.
While this game was great and I highly enjoyed it, I cant give it a perfect 10 score. I had a issue with the button layout on the Xbox. The command to bring up my gadget selection just felt out of place.
Movements weren't flushed and smooth. I would try and grapple up to something I'm looking at and fly backwards to a different metal beam. Standing up on small wall and trying to jump down in the subway system caused batman to stutter and not know what to do like a lost puppy.

    Pros:
    +More detective moments
    +Bat-family was at large
    +Harley Quinn's cleavage

    Cons:
    -Riddler trophies lasted forever
-Finished the game without knowing about the Freeze Blast grenade
-Did not see Harley Quinn naked

Rocksteady have done it again! Arkham Asylum was a fantastic game in every aspect. City came along and improved upon it in every way imaginable. Then Origins came along and did absolutely nothing. So what has Arkham Knight done? Quite a bit, especially for a franchise already close to perfection.

As many reviews are keen to point out, the major addition is the Batmobile. Whilst this has been met with a certain degree of hostility by fans, the addition is not only welcome but also quite necessary if you ask me. Why is this? First of all, it allows for much more gameplay possibilities. Everything from level design, puzzles & collectibles to combat and open-world gameplay become fresh. The Batmobile is not a gimmick, it is genuinely the biggest and greatest addition to the franchise. It acts as both a car and a tank. There are vehicular combat sections (yes, still with a combo system and special weapons/moves), upgrades and some racing sections. The Batmobile is used to its full potential throughout the game - both by side-quests and the main story. The real question is, how has this addition impacted the quality of the game? The answer is: not much at all. Infact, other areas of the game are just as good (mostly), if not better. The combat system is largely the same (after all, they've run out of button combinations for adding any more gadgets or special moves to Batman's plethora of combat options) but there are now special gadget moves that can be activated when the combo meter is full, and you can now juggle enemies after super stun. There are also environmental takedowns (which replace throws - throws themselves are replaced by last-minute counters). The beauty of this combat system is that it has evolved without becoming overly complex or difficult. There's a lot of variety and depth to the combat, it feels more rewarding than ever to keep long combos going. That said, there aren't really any interesting enemies to fight - just your usual stun sticks, ninjas, big guys and riot shields. The biggest addition to the combat is that in some parts you can have Batman fight alongside one of his allies (Nightwing, Robin Catwoman) - so you can do dual takedowns by switching between characters without dropping your combo. This is only really used well for Riddler's side quest, so it's disappointing that such a system is not used more.

I was never a huge fan of the Predator sections as you spend a lot of time sitting around waiting. Arkham Knight adds the ability to chain takedowns, sentry guns, flying drones and enemies not visible by detective mode, as well as a Voice Synthesizer which can be used to order enemies around, and there's some interesting things one can do with this as well as the disruptor. Overall however, although the Predator toolbox has evolved, sadly the game's usage of them is poor. Despite being one of the longest games in the franchise, it has by far the fewest Predator encounters, and the Predator sections that are there are not at all challenging or add anything new or exciting.

So what about the story and side missions? Well, they're both top-quality too. I would argue that the side missions are repetitive and rather dull/lacking in any real story or connection to characters compared to Arkham City, but they're not tedious. The story itself is very good also. I don't want to spoil anything so I won't discuss much about the characters and story here, but it definitely holds up to the high standard set by every other game in the series (including Origins). Major events occur, put it that way. However, despite this, they don't feel quite as dramatic or powerful as they did in Arkham City or even Arkham Origins. It's one of those stories where the first 90% is quite pedestrian and the last 10% everything happens - almost as if it was rushed - without fully tying up loose ends.

One other fairly important thing to note is that there are no real boss fights. There are about 3 of them, and all of them are, you guessed it, glorified hit-and-run with the Batmobile. These are not impressive if I'm honest. They are completely underwhelming and I'm sure many others would agree that this game has the weakest boss fights of them all - because it doesn't really have ANY if we're being brutally honest. If you're expecting encounters with major characters anywhere near as good as Arkham City, you're SOL.

So what's the verdict? If you enjoyed any of the previous games, unless you have a dire hatred of any games involving any sort of vehicular combat or driving sections then you will be hard-pushed to find many flaws with this game. The world is massive, there's lots to do and there's destructible environments. The combat and stealth mechanics as well as the visuals have been stepped up without compromise. The Batmobile is an excellent addition and used in meaningful ways throughout without getting too silly or "jumping the shark". For any fan of the series, it is a must-play.

I'll separate things you will encounter on reviews by topic and say if is true or not

    - You depend on bat mobile to do things all the time and the car is overused - NONSENSE that dependes on how much you will want to use the car. Of course there are missions in which is required, but not obligatory

    - Odd design - NONSENSE - Game is looking good as hell, both in immersion and artistically speaking, and you don`t need to be an expert in art design to know it

    - Story is bad compared to the previous ones - Ok, Im not gonna spoil anything, but if you played batman arkham asylum, and payed attention, as well as if you payed attention on Arkham City, you will notice that this is the way the plot was suppose to be. And Rocksteady doest exactly what fans should wait.

Why I rate this game with a high score if I didn't finished?

Because it freaking deserves a 9 at least, if its going to get a 10, well... I have to finish to say if the story will keep like it is now of ir its going to be even more epic, than it changes to 10...

9 is the minimum this game deserves!
