Nov 10, 2011If you have Modern Warfare 2 don't waste your money on this game. It is the same exact game with a different campaign. There is nothing Innovative about this game it is seriously Call of Duty MW2. Stop giving the developers 60 dollars for the same game.

Nov 10, 2011What a fantastic game! Forget the negativity, it deserves so much more. Fair enough it looks similar to previous games, but so what, that's the nature of this business, building on the good stuff, and making it better! The game is a dream to play with loads of great new features and modes. Absolutely brilliant!!

Nov 10, 2011This is another great installment of COD, better graphics, new maps, fun new kill streak rewards and new co-op game play. There is more new here than people seem to realize. The only knock is the single player mode which has never been great for this series. Overall, the game is good fun.

Nov 10, 2011I was expecting a game to entertain me my kids. I got what I paid for. The campaign is like being in a 10 to 12 hour long block buster movie. I'm not a big online player so I appreciate the survival mode where I can sharpen my skills without dieing every ten seconds.

Nov 10, 2011More of the same... Those who control the release of CoD should stop selling these games for full price and should sell them as an expansion pack because that is what it is. This is not worth the $60 they ask you to pay...

Nov 10, 2011Nothing new to this game. I feel like each map has something in common with maps i have played before. It feels like modern warfare was put in a blender and this is what was served.

Nov 10, 2011Another year another COD another copy and paste cash in that was once a great game series. Gamers deserve better than the same old thing every year. I'm glad EA got the memo with Battlefield 3.

Nov 10, 2011I could have sworn that the cover of the box said "MW3", so you can imagine my surprise when I found out it was actually MW2.
-

Nov 10, 2011More re-hashed crap, it's sad and very disheartening when companies such as this are so blatently obvious in their scramble to make cash. The game is just about identical to MW2 and Black Ops, hell it even uses the same game engine!

Nov 10, 2011I'm sorry but i played this at my friends house and it was horrible, i seriously cannot begin to describe how mad i am at the developers for simply mixing previous call of duties up, throwing a couple of different things in there and selling it at full price while claiming it is a completely new product.
-
Nov 10, 2011Same old overly rehashed gameplay and story with shinier graphics..... really nothing new to experience since MW1.... Sad but true. I wouldn't pay 60$ for this if I were you.

Nov 10, 2011This is for Glen Schofield asking on twtter to FAKE rate this game high...HOW ABOUT U GIVE ME MY $64 BACK INSTEAD? I heard u came from the team that made Dead Space...but right now I would rather send u to space dead. Buy Skyrim and BF3 everyone, trust me.

Nov 10, 2011Beyond bad. Maps are too small. Too much clutter on most maps. Lag is ridiculous. Animations are a joke.
I have been a COD player since COD 2 on PC, and have loved the franchise even though the complete rehash that was MW2. I hoped something would change. I was sadly mistaken.
Battlefield 3, here I come. This stale piece of **** game is the death of a franchise. -

Nov 10, 2011For the longest time, I forgot that I was playing MW3 and thought I was still playing MW2. New weapons + nothing else new does not = worthy sequel. Seriously, the developers cut and paste exact buildings and structures from past CoD games onto this one.
-
Nov 10, 2011Same thing, just an expansion pack. The only thing this series is made for is the money now. 20 (TWENTY) DLC packs already confirmed. And ANOTHER Modern Warfare confirmed for next year. This has got to stop
-
Nov 10, 2011MW3 has been lots of fun.. The online play has been exceptional and even though there has been little innovation in the game, there isn't need to fix something that isn't broken.
-
Nov 10, 2011Keeps the same familiar formula while still managing to wow you at every turn. Great story telling. Epic single player. Awesome multiplayer. What more could you want from a FPS.
-
Nov 10, 2011Typical yearly release from Call of Duty. Same physics, same graphics and a few 'new' re-skinned guns. I seriously hope that after this blunder everyone would learn to stay away from the series since as of now, there isn't much they're adding besides a 50 dollar service which 'improves' your game.

Jan 11, 2012Ultimately, Modern Warfare 3 feels similar to it's brethren, but that doesn't mean it isn't a great game. The single player element is still exciting, and multiplayer has more options than ever – if you're a fan of Call of Duty, Modern Warfare 3 is a no brainer.
-
Dec 28, 2011Modern Warfare 3, while still an excellent thrill ride in its own right, feels far too similar to MW2 or even Black Ops for my taste.
-
Dec 12, 2011I never expected Modern Warfare 3 to go toe-to-toe with EA's juggernaut this year, but it came out of the gates with a tour de force campaign and co-op mode. It loses points with a perhaps too-familiar multiplayer that caters to the juvenile on Xbox Live; though don't be mistaken, Modern Warfare 3 is one hell of a shooter and a highlight for a series that just won't die – no matter how much we wish it bloody would, at times.
