Nov 12, 2011Poor excuse for a squeal, just one very expensive map pack really. Its incredibly unfair on consumers to charge such excessive prices for such little content.

Nov 12, 2011After hours of the previous games in the series, I was expecting a well worked campaign mode and useful changes to the multiplayer. This provided neither. Major improvements needed, I actually traded in after 3 days!!!

Nov 12, 2011Great game. people knew it's CoD and wasn't going to change much yet still going to complain, in the end it's your fault for hyping yourself up so much it is fun though.

Nov 12, 2011congratulations Robert Bowling for taking everything good about the multiplayer for MW2 and Black Ops and totally screwing it up. All of the bugs of MW2 and NONE of the features or configurables of Black Ops. Well done. Totally broken multiplayer experience. A round of applause, please, for the man that could take a winning recipe and actually screw it up and get away with it.

Nov 11, 2011Fantastic game. At first I was a bit overwhelmed with the new maps and what not and thought that MW3 didn't live up to my expectations, but after playing for a bit and learning to navigate my way efficiently through the game I can say that I am thoroughly enjoying it. Real shame on the low rating, I truly can't under-stand why. Compared to black ops, this game is absolute gold.

Nov 11, 2011just plain boring, the story was dull, spec ops is fun for a bit and the multiplayer is exactly the same as mw2 just some new perks and upgrading styles not worth the time really

Nov 11, 2011Nothing new at all, exact same as Modern Warfare 2 with new maps and guns. its basically 60 dollar DLC. which is extremely disappointing. game play is exactly the same as Modern Warfare 2 and it doesn't even try to improve on anything.

Nov 11, 201160$ dlc I expect more from the big gaming company's. 2 years and all I get is a re-skinned version of MW2 with a changed leveling/perk system. Activision has the number 1 selling game out and they can not even improve their engine. They all are sitting on their fat bank account laughing at the consumers.

Nov 11, 2011This is exactly the same as MW2! Really if you want something NEW, go on and buy Battlefield 3, I'M NOT A BATTLEFIELD FAN! but I played it and it has a lot of new stuff, but well gotta go, I'm playing The Elders Scrolls V: Skyrim right now.

Jan 11, 2012Ultimately, Modern Warfare 3 feels similar to it's brethren, but that doesn't mean it isn't a great game. The single player element is still exciting, and multiplayer has more options than ever – if you're a fan of Call of Duty, Modern Warfare 3 is a no brainer.
-
Dec 28, 2011Modern Warfare 3, while still an excellent thrill ride in its own right, feels far too similar to MW2 or even Black Ops for my taste.

Dec 12, 2011I never expected Modern Warfare 3 to go toe-to-toe with EA's juggernaut this year, but it came out of the gates with a tour de force campaign and co-op mode. It loses points with a perhaps too-familiar multiplayer that caters to the juvenile on Xbox Live; though don't be mistaken, Modern Warfare 3 is one hell of a shooter and a highlight for a series that just won't die – no matter how much we wish it bloody would, at times.
