    I might get hate for this, but the missions were good, the characters and story was really bad. I found myself only enjoying the multiplayer. If you want a futuristic COD, run to BO3.

    Advanced Warfare is one of the most boring and unsung games in the series. Firstly, there are no new ideas in it, only the repetition of the mechanic Black Ops 2. I can only appreciate a single game, it is completely not remembered except for Kevin Spacey, although his character is the most cliched shadow antagonist. The Xbox360 version of the game looks like all previous parts in 5 years.Advanced Warfare is one of the most boring and unsung games in the series.     The campaign is generic, the exo-zombies mode sucks, but at least the multiplayer is really fun.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This game is rock solid. The campaign is fun and the upgrades make the game that much more playable. The campaign had an interesting premise of a large corporation turning evil and so many scenes in the game are really powerful such as losing the arm in Korea and others. The guns in this game are pretty cool and you can tell their counterparts. Other than the story the graphics are pretty good for last gen and it is one of my favorite games and for once i liked the multiplayer of a COD game. The exo survival game mode is really fun and it's a fun little challenge once you get bored of multiplayer or the campaign. Now the only criticism i have of the game is that the zombies mode is locked behind a paywall which sucks because i was looking forward to seeing the exo-suits plus zombies. But other than that it was a great game.… Expand

    Just why SLEDGEHAMMER? You're most of the blame for the damage of the CoD franchise. I had hopes for this game, but you just had to add in the Laser Guns didn't you?

    With all criticism towards the game itself, the game was in perfect condition when i got it. The discs were scratchless. It came a day earlier than it said it would. Its also a bit cheaper to get this than to buy it off of the xbox store. Sure it's easier to buy it off of there, but I personally would rather wait a little longer and save a couple bucks in the process.     Call of Duty is back and it is good.

    The “Call of Duty” franchise has recently produced another game called Advanced Warfare. This game can run from around $30- $60 depending on the console you have. To download this game it requires up to 3g of data storage for online multiplayer and other things. There are many game variants for this including, atlas limited edition and gold edition for the game. Advanced warfare has multiple DLCs (Downloadable Contents) that can range again from $30-$60 depending on the pack you choose. In this game, there are multiple weapon variants that will help your overall gameplay. This game also has lots of high definition moments in the campaign and in the multiplayer game mode.

    I have recently purchased the “Gold” edition for Advanced Warfare. With this purchase came a $25 zombie edition to the game (Regular $30), even though it cost me more money, I thought it was a good deal. With my purchase came a DLC weapon and the AE4 widowmaker. In my opinion, this weapon is not very good and you should not use it. For me, this game was very easy to rank up in and it only took a few days to reach master level. Along the way, you can get supply drops that have other weapon variants inside them. In the game, I have also purchased weapon camos like lighting and others and they look very good for the price. In my multiplayer career, there have been many awesome moments of point streaks and actions. Also, there are lots of game modes that I like to play, like team deathmatch and infected mode.

    I would recommend this game, to 8-16 year-olds even though it has an “M” rating. In the game you can change the setting to paintball mode to lower the “M” rating. Lots of people can pick this game up in a snap and become addicted to it just like me. I would also recommend this game to older people too, just because of the price of the game and how easy it is to learn how to use the game. If I was you, I would buy this game right away and start working on your way to grand master.    … Expand

    ok what is the movement in this game its stoopid but i like the supply drops i dont mind it that much but i wish it was just a little bit better but apart from the boosting its ok

    esse jogo foi ainda pior que o ghosts. ele tem uma boa história, porém esta cheio de problemas, ele esta mais ridículo que o outro. coisas que eu não gostei: arma a laser po pensei que era call of duty, sem falar que essa arma a laser é ridícula, pois ela meio que te paralisa, ela não te da só dano como as outras. não da pra jogar 4 jogadores no modo local o que era muito divertido, nãoesse jogo foi ainda pior que o ghosts. ele tem uma boa história, porém esta cheio de problemas, ele esta mais ridículo que o outro. coisas que eu não gostei: arma a laser po pensei que era call of duty, sem falar que essa arma a laser é ridícula, pois ela meio que te paralisa, ela não te da só dano como as outras. não da pra jogar 4 jogadores no modo local o que era muito divertido, não tem um multiplayer muito interessante, tem modos ridículos como o modo link. só decepções, essa franquia esta cada vez pior. ainda bem que eu joguei na cada de um amigo e não cai na besteira de gastar dinheiro com isso.… Expand

    Multiplayer is unplayable due to some ridiculous matchmaking system whereby if you bought the version with one dlc, it only matches you with the tiny pool of players who also have that one dlc. There is no good fix on 360 except to buy more dlc. The main campaign seems ok, but graphics are so much worse than on next gen. It looks like a ps2 game.     I'm a fan of call of duty games mainly for the zombies feature i don't really care to much for the multiplayer. but first with Exo Zombies let start with the bad. With every COD zombies (I'm sure we all can agree that they always have to have something in the zombies that make it annoying and difficult such as (EMP zombies/dogs, that very annoying Goliath that comes after round 20 & thatI'm a fan of call of duty games mainly for the zombies feature i don't really care to much for the multiplayer. but first with Exo Zombies let start with the bad. Another thing they did i didn't like was they did keep Stamina up. I know with the Exo suite you can jump high and you have that slight boost but that only helps so much & im sure some would agree and say that stamina up would really help out (especially when your Exo Suite gets hit with by a EXP zombie/dog) otherwise beside those little flaws/annoyances i really enjoy the Exo Zombies i thought the Exo Suite was a good idea makes easier to survive on rounds 20+. i love a lot of the new guns they have on there (Ohm, IRM for its bullet regeneration, Cauterizer & the Limbo). i like the maps they have available and the little side challenges they have other wise i love the zombies and cant wait for black ops 3 to see what the zombies is like on there. Now i like to play with people online but dont really have anyone to play with if you want to play my gamer-tag is Swishakilla808 for xbox 360 & im pretty cool to play with, im FAIR and not a slacker. I'll play with anyone but i prefer no little kids tho.… Expand

For the record I play PC but seeing as I am not home and there is a xbox readily available I decided to plop down and get some old console play in. Well first on my list was advanced warfare, which I was only playing for the story. I really didn't mind it up until the "Armada" mission. Everything was fine and daddy giving chase to the bad guys then the vehicle i was driving gets flipped, now let me stop right here before I go any further. If you pay attention you can clearly see your own character jerk the wheel (without being hit) and run into a side wall. I decided to let that one go maybe they just screwed up pretty bad on that part. So running and gunning down the bridge beating some people up ya know, trying to beat people face in with my fist and ultimately failing (not sure if it was me or just the hit detection). Anyways I get to the point of where you have the van you were chasing blocked in, bad guys gets out they get on the ground. You go up and open the door (red flag) why are you just waltzing on over and opening the door? you were just chasing guys who were trying to kill you don't you think that its rigged? anyways it is, out pops drones once again why doesn't anyone throw a friggin EMP, I could have i was obviously staring at them for 5 minutes before they flew off, I was mashing LB. Then the part that really got me at which part i went ahead and hit the eject button and plopped in another game. The US Navy is apparently anchored under this bridge, which is a channel, which in layman terms is what the military likes to call a KILL ZONE. I was done after seeing that, this is the mission that just so happened to grind my gears. I loved Kevin Spacey though all down for that, President Underwood.… Expand

    This game is the worst of all cod if you like it then your one of those how uses a modified controller and like to cheat for this game is full of cheaters and takes away the fun. It's no fun when u shoot through or just put hit markers on everyone in hardcore, and how the hell do people just drop to the ground and still get to shoot and kill first. Their is a lot of lagging in the gameThis game is the worst of all cod if you like it then your one of those how uses a modified controller and like to cheat for this game is full of cheaters and takes away the fun.     this game franchise is awesome, WOW mind-blowing. after Call of duty ghost which was an absolute bummer ghost had no idea it does not look futuristic extinction sucks call of duty it's know for the story , multiplayer , zombies seriously no one cares about aliens their gay little creatures zombies are to die for you can have a better time chatting with friends and killing zombies then killing aliens . now in 2055 call of duty comes back and it is epic , it's futuristic it has perfect details the weapons are bigger , badder , improvement the smart grenades are easier to kill the enemy more easier and more impressive , the graphics are so omfg so realistic , the virtual people actually looks so real ( like actual people), it takes power , intimate effects that sludgehammer    … Expand

    This game is absolutely dreadful for Xbox 360. The graphics are bad and they are bad for even PS2 standards. Multiplayer is full of connection issues. Do not buy this game for past consoles like 360 or PS3.

    Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is just like all the other COD's but you have an Exo Suit so it adds some more movement and versatility to the game. The story is fun and looks great. And i was playing on the Xbox 360. The multiplayer was about the same as the other COD's except for the boost abilities. The weapon selection isnt that great and the game modes are about the same. Overall iCall of Duty: Advanced Warfare is just like all the other COD's but you have an Exo Suit so it adds some more movement and versatility to the game. The story is fun and looks great. And i was playing on the Xbox 360. The multiplayer was about the same as the other COD's except for the boost abilities. The weapon selection isnt that great and the game modes are about the same. Overall i give CoD: Advanced Warfare a 7/10 because i really enjoyed the story and adding the exo suits make the game more maneuverable.… Expand

The story for this game is about the most average Call of Duty campaign that I've played so far, but they're all no different because they're all pretty much the same. The characters are okay, but since Troy Baker played Private Mitchell (and come on, we're talking about Troy Baker here), I think that Mitchell was my favorite, for obvious reasons. This game was noticeably optimized for Xbox One, so any moments that tried to look good (like a dropship blowing up and falling onto your drop-pod) look pretty bland. They look much better on Xbox One. But the true strong point for the game is the inclusion of the exo-suit. You can do everything from double-jump, boost-slide, hover, and bring up a riot shield that is literally on your FRICKING ARM!!!! This is the best gameplay controls I've ever experienced for a Call of Duty game. In multiplayer, the exo-suit is a game-changer for the series, allowing tons of new ways to evade and attack your foes. And with the Pick 13 system, there is more customization than ever. Black Ops 2 had a similar system, except there were only 10 slots, so this is definitely a step up. Matches are intense and exciting, and the modes perfectly complement the maps. This is a great Call of Duty game that will certainly please someone who is a fan of the series. This is a HUGE turning point for the franchise, so you'd be crazy to miss this one.… Expand

There is certainly been a drastic improvement graphics and gameplay vise from the Black ops 2 and ghosts and it is introduced into a completely new level of gaming with all the exo-suit. The campaign is quite good and is in terms with the title but it is more on the realistic side and it really does stand up to the name "ADVANCED WARFARE". There are different weapons that also contribute to the whole new level of CoD gaming experience. The voice acting of Troy Baker and Kevin Spacey was exceptional.After the release of the game there were lot of questions raised and lots of comparisons made with the game Titan-fall and people thought that the whole multiplayer gaming experience would change and will not be any similar to the previous CoD games, but just to inform you guys that the team in-charge for the making of advanced warfare left and started up their own studio known as Respawn, I am sure most of you guys are very much aware about that. The inclusion of Exo abilities brought in more skills and tactics into the game which none of the other predecessors did which brings us a whole new level of gaming experience. The score streaks are much more different and also the players have the ability to upgrade them even in the Campaign mode. The new "Supply Drop" which is a new reward system that has been included which enables the player to get newer and fiercer weapons without actually buying or redeeming your points. In my opinion AW is a great game maybe not for too long for CoD players but for a three year development, indeed they have done a good job and have introduced us to whole new level, a faster one with comparison to the previous titles. I would give it a 9/10 because of the attempt they have done to make it a fresh CoD game but at the same would be expecting drastic changes to the next title and be looking forward for it to top the first person shooter for many years to come. This game is definitely worth the money and i would recommend CoD players to consider buying it if they are looking for a whole new level and improved Call of Duty Game… Expand

    Advanced Warfare is here and sadly it just isn't very good. I recently rented this game hoping it would be better than Ghosts. Boy was I wrong, Ghosts although bad was not nearly as bad as this over-hyped "innovative" shooter. The formula is exactly the same except they added a double jump mechanic that has been well over done in 2014 video games. Advanced Warfare tried to be new byAdvanced Warfare is here and sadly it just isn't very good. I recently rented this game hoping it would be better than Ghosts. Boy was I wrong, Ghosts although bad was not nearly as bad as this over-hyped "innovative" shooter. Advanced Warfare tried to be new by adding the "Exosuit" but it turns out that was a big flop, it feels like your solider is from the Crysis series, not the Call of Duty series. Now for some pros and cons.

    Pros:
    1. The graphics are very good for the most part, especially since it's a cross gen game.
    2. Kevin Spacey has a strong performance in the campaign.
    3. The futuristic environment is pretty cool at times.
    4. Some of the new guns are fun to use.
    5. The multiplayer is fun for a few hours.

    Cons:
    1. Same old Call of Duty gameplay.
    2. Some of the graphics are really ugly when viewed up close, especially the environment.
    3. Weak story.
    4. Switching between grenades is annoying.
    5. Really really bad sound bugs. Entire cutscenes will go silent while the gun fights have bursts of dead silence to full on blasting. It makes having sound on the game almost unbearable, after the fourth mission and this bug happening many times, I finally muted the sound and relied on subtitles the rest of the game.
    6. Easiest Call of Duty to date.
    7. You have to pay for full Zombies, Zombies has always been my favorite game mode and I now can't try it because it costs $15.00.
    8. Survival mode isn't really fun or interesting.

    So, there we have it. This game like I said was a rental, I will never purchase the game, or give it another second of my time. Very disappointing for the series, I and many others were hoping change would happen.    … Expand

    This game is the worst game i have ever played. If you are looking for a game that will make you want to smash your xbox 360 against the wall over and over this is the one. If you are part of the sniping community DO NOT GET THIS GAME. It is a mix between halo and ghosts. I just finished throwing my xbox across my room.
