    This game basically duplicates the first Lego Indiana Jones game, except with levels from Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. The style is weird and not as fun, but, like all Lego games, it is fun playing as you're favorite characters from the movies. Not a bad sequel.

    Just like Lego Star Wars III this game just doesn't have as much charm the original had the gameplay was too random and most of the time I was bored..

    This would probably bore me to death if I played it now but that is besides the point of how it used to be. This game was so much fun especially for someone like myself at such a young age especially when they had a build your own anything.     Okay travellers tales, what happened? Lego Star Wars was good, lego Star Wars II was awesome, lego batman was also awesome, and the first lego indiana jones was great. And because you were too lazy to put the fourth movie in the first game EVEN THOUGH IT CAME OUT 2 GODAMN WEEKS AFTER THE MOVIE CAME OUT, so you decided to half assedly shovel it into a unnecessary cash grab sequel. The story is terrible, and I know what your thinking, we'll duh it's a lego game. Well these lego games are based off the movies, so it should at least stay true to the source material. That's where the first problem comes in, every single movie is shoehorned into five short, boring, gimmicky levels and ends with some retarded and absurd boss battle regardless of what happened in the movie. Remember in the temple of doom there was an epic minecart chase and then the intense scene where Indy cuts the bridge? Instead of that, the giant scary statue is possessed or some stupid **** like that, someone throws a chicken leg outside of the temple, this temple that's SUPPOSED to be heavily guarded underground, goes after like bait, and then you have a lame and anticlimactic boss battle with the giant statue. WTF????!!!!! The fourth movie which was the weakest one in the series anyway, is dragged out over three parts, adding up to an unnessecary 15 levels and most of them suck anyway. The gameplay is a very mixed bag. One thing I like is that they changed the overall format. Instead of one hub where you choose the movie and levels from, each movie has it's own hub where you choose that movies levels and find hidden collectible and side missions. This a welcome change but has many problems. Each movie has five very identical levels and get extremely repetitive. There's a driving mission where you just smack enemy cars over and over again and is very boring, there's a level where infinite enemies come until you kill the chiefs/mini bosses, and the last level is always a ridiculous boss battle. These kinds of levels are in every movie and get very old, very fast. There are still minikits and bricks to unlock, but the way you find them is also poorly done and very repetitive. The are ten red blu and green bricks in each level, but to find them all you have to do is smash everything in site and hope you get one. This is very lazy, there should be a puzzle for each red blue and green rather than just scavenging for 10 of each, it's boring and isn't challenging. The way you get minikits is okay I guess, each level has the traditional 10 minikits. 5 of them are in replayable story missions which are even worse than there original versions, it the other 5 inside hidden levels that you must find which I like. These levels are the best in the game. They have some fun puzzles and platforming and are far better than the story missions. Each one is unique and fun to play through and these don't get very repetitive. However, when you get the 10 minikits, the reward is again very crappy and repetitive. Each one is just an urban parody world remade in lego and the objective is always to collect a million coins in a certain time. This is cool at first, but the novelty wears off fast. I like that you can purchase vehicles to use whenever you want in the hub worlds, and same with the characters. Some of the vehicles are really cool such as the jungle cutter and fighter plane. The customization is also extended. You can have more than 2 custom characters at a time which is nice and now there's a create a level feature. While this works the way it's intended to with good tutorials, you can 't upload the levels online in any way so you can't play other peoples levels and other people can't play your levels. Only you and your friends will see them. There's also a create your own adventure feature which isn't all that great. You pick a few characters, a few missions, a vehicle that you can't even freaking drive, and a made up artifact that has no effect on the gameplay. It's literally just going into random levels with random characters. The graphics are completely average for a wii game. They don 't suck, but there not all that great either. Nothing special about the sound design, only thing good is the classic indiana jones soundtrack from the movies that we all know and love. This is one of the most mediocre and half-assed games I've ever played. It's not terrible, but it certainly isn't good. It's just a retarded cash grab on the fourth movie. It tries to reformat the lego formula which is welcome, but ends up **** it up in the process with a few interesting things to present. My recommendation is to buy the first game, as it is far superior to this in every single way. In fact, any other lego game is more worth your money this. Just don't buy it.… Expand

    This game is the same as the DS version, which is disappointing as it lack some detail and quality which as in the first IJ game. However I did complete this game BTW, thus I do recommend this game for the story(Cutscene) and brick smashing, but some part of this game can be a bit repetitive it the way it challenges the player, But overall worth a try.

    All in all, it's amazing the amount of content that's packed into this game -- this is more than a sequel, even while including a redux of the first game's three movies.

    The lack of secrets in the main levels is a mistake, the new hub worlds are confusing and the level editor is just short of being pointless. If you haven't already played it, the original LEGO Indiana Jones is a much better purchase.
