The game is great, with tons of characters and 90 levels split across all four Indiana Jones movies. The one flaw in the game's design is the lack of minikits, making the free play useless and not providing an ultimate gameplay collection. The levels also have a lack of design, with many levels sharing similar objectives. However, I still find this to be one of the most fun LEGO games ever.

Easily one of the best LEGO games ever made. It's a large improvement over its predecessor and introduces one of my favorite mechanics: finding characters and fighting them to unlock them instead of simply buying them in the game's hub world.

Speaking of the hub world, each episode (there are six; Crystal Skull is divided into three in order to give more of a focus on this film) has its own box. Boxes are essentially their own little hubs. They each have their own missions and characters to find and collect.

There's a ton of replay value here. The amount of time it takes you to collect the characters and vehicles is big enough but add to that the engaging level creator (it's a shame this didn't return in future games) and the extremely fun co-op and you've got yourself an amazing LEGO game.

Overall, LEGO Indiana Jones 2 is the second best LEGO game I've ever played (Harry Potter Years 5-7 remains the best) and it's definitely worth picking up.

The graphics are simple and appealing. The gameplay is fun and its a funny way of telling the story of the many Indiana jones movies. The hub worlds, while unnecessary, are cool little open worlds. The loading is a big issue though. Also, motion controls are minimal only doing around 2 actions so you don't have to remember to do stupid movements to get your guy to do something. Underrated game.

  1. Indy’s newest adventure wasn’t built to last.

All in all, it's amazing the amount of content that's packed into this game -- this is more than a sequel, even while including a redux of the first game's three movies.

The lack of secrets in the main levels is a mistake, the new hub worlds are confusing and the level editor is just short of being pointless. If you haven't already played it, the original LEGO Indiana Jones is a much better purchase.
