An absolute joy to play. Though it certainly does its job as a party game and will definitely help liven up your next get-together, it is equally enjoyable when played by itself. Its unique mash up of dancing and karaoke make it an irresistible choice for audiophiles and rhythm-lovers everywhere!
-
Official Nintendo Magazine UKBoogie is certainly not without its flaws but as a karaoke/rhythm-action game designed to keep a crowd of people genuinely entertained it does the job perfectly. [Sept 2007, p.66]
-
Much like any good party, Boogie ends much too soon while the fun’s still going on.
-
EA has created a great world and a solid launching pad for the franchise, but ultimately the dance portion—which is heavily emphasized—is far too easy even if people get really into it.
-
Pros: Easy, accessible fun. Song list is varied and interesting. Cons: You can't sing and dance at the same time, there's no online play and the replay value is low.
-
Leave your stuffy music and game sensibilities at the door – Boogie has a more plebeian appeal.
-
This is a great little game that is aimed squarely at the party and casual gamer.
