  1. On the PS2, the game isn’t helped by an equally mediocre dancing component. It isn’t horrible by any means, but there are cheaper, better karaoke alternatives available on the PS2.
  2. A fun, albeit easy, rhythm game.
  3. 60
The biggest problem is the lack of difficulty and subsequent lack of replayability, but while it lasts Boogie offers a pleasant distraction from the usual crop of rhythm action games on the market. It's a strange title but one that's not without merit.

    In a word - Boo. [Jan 2008, p.114]

It's a real shame that for every flicker of promise Boogie shows, there are twice as many setbacks just around the corner. For a karaoke/dancing merger, this is nowhere near as fun as it should be and for all the noise it makes, EA's Boogie just doesn't have the substance to succeed.

Boogie will probably hold appeal for any young aspiring X Factor winner that's currently running his bike ragged to buy a PS3. [Issue#161, p.99]

With the lack of challenge, the absence of fun and no attempt at providing an experience for it’s target audience, EA has managed to produce one of the worst ‘games’ (if it can even be called that) that I have ever had the misfortune to play.
