    To all of you creating accounts to review bomb this game... I suggest getting out of the tutorial area before posting a mindless zero. I've been playing Zelda games a long time, since the early 90's, and what Nintendo has created this time around is truly amazing. They have portrayed a version of Hyrule that should more than satisfy any Zelda fan. The spirit of any Zelda game is toTo all of you creating accounts to review bomb this game...     Out of all my years gaming, I have never had a better experience than with this game. The build mechanics rival that of minecraft, the story rivals that of all other zelda titles, and all the magestic environment blows enterprises owned by Disney out of the water. A game does not need to be 4k and 60 fps to be the best.

More ways to interact with the world via ultra hand and combining, Epic dungeons that make the divine beasts look bad, and despite carrying over the same world from BOTW, so much has changed in the over world, and you have 2 new massive areas to explore via the sky and the underground.     So far the game is perfect. I can't flaw it. The visuals are amazing, even with the "limits" the switch gives. Game runs smoothly so far, which these days isn't always a given. Didn't watch any of the trailers so that I could explore and experience all the new things for myself. The sense of adventure this game gives is fantastic. I keep finding new challenges and new little secretsSo far the game is perfect. I can't flaw it. The visuals are amazing, even with the "limits" the switch gives. The game is awesome, the things you can do are limitless, I understand people saying that is a DLC of BOTW, the mechanics of both games are the same, but with worlds apart from each other, TOTK brings us a new way of exploring hyrule and building whatever your imagination let's you, the only complain os that the runes they gave us make the game a little to easy to surpass certain shrines/ temples... but that's not the real problem once the games allow you to run free and conquer hyrule.… Expand

Realmente, foram aproveitados diversos elementos do jogo anterior, e algumas coisas já começam familiares no início do game. Porém, as novas habilidades, alterações no mapa, história e forma de avançar na história são imensamente maiores. O fatorÉ incrível o que a Nintendo fez diante do fraco processamento do Nintendo Switch. "Legend of Zelda: Tears of The Kingdom" é uma obra-prima. Realmente, foram aproveitados diversos elementos do jogo anterior, e algumas coisas já começam familiares no início do game.     Anyone calling this $70 DLC is either trolling or hasnt actually played the game. This improves upon BoTW in every single way possible on top of adding 2x completely different massive sections. The level of creativity with the physics engine feels endless and exploring is just as fun (if not more) then BoTW. There is a perfect level of familiar and unfamiliar. A true masterpiece

    Pese haber tenido el hype por las nubes, el juego ha logrado sorprenderme con todas las mecánicas que tiene. Es sencillamente acojonante lo que supone hacer que un sistema de físicas funcione tan bien sin ningún tipo de bug. la historia a mejorado en todos los aspectos, y solo encuentro un error en el juego y es el sistema de activación de poderes de los personajes

    This game takes the prequel and multiples it by a hundred and it catches your attention in everything it also gas some aspects of the old game yet somehow they don’t feel repetitive and the new abilities just adds on the fun whenever u solve a puzzle your way it always feels good and makes you feel smart this game is a masterpiece

    at first i was a little bit skeptical about reusing the same map but after playing i ask myself how did they add so much stuff in only 6 years and how did they optimize it to make it run on a 6 year old console with a chip from 2015,
    the gameplay is reminiscent of botw but a lot better

    I think Tears of the Kingdom in itself may be a 9/10 (if you haven't played BotW) but because I have played BotW, there was nothing to do (if you don't like long gaming sessions/grinding) because there are very few sky islands and the caves are way too hard to explore. Everything you had in BotW got taken away, which was a VERY VERY BIG minus, and wich made me kinda angry. Because of that,I think Tears of the Kingdom in itself may be a 9/10 (if you haven't played BotW) but because I have played BotW, there was nothing to do (if you don't like long gaming sessions/grinding) because there are very few sky islands and the caves are way too hard to explore.     it is fun to play but the feeling of discovery that was present in botw isn't there as it's the same map. it works to replace it's prequel instead of being its own thing (like majora's mask being different but good).

    TOTK world is a themepark of gorgeous landscape that always keeps you stimulated with mystery and puzzles.

    But it falls short on two things, story and combat.

    The core story is good but the character design and dialogue is as bas expected from a Zelda/Nintendo game.

    -Combat:
    I had fun with combat until 20% of the main story where you can get exponentionally stronger than every enemy in the game with easily accessible resources. Not to mention the questionable design choice of letting you refill as much HP as you have food in your bag.

    The new chapter of the Zelda saga exceeds most people expectations and delivers a fantastic experience which will entertain you for an incredibly long amount of time. The world, although already shown in Breath of the Wild, somehow still feels fresh and unique thanks to all of the new mechanics implemented in the game. The gameplay and the story are also extremely fun and entertaining, andThe new chapter of the Zelda saga exceeds most people expectations and delivers a fantastic experience which will entertain you for an incredibly long amount of time. The world, although already shown in Breath of the Wild, somehow still feels fresh and unique thanks to all of the new mechanics implemented in the game. The gameplay and the story are also extremely fun and entertaining, and you'll be able to enjoy the game regardless if you're an aged Zelda fan or a newcomer experiencing the saga for the first time. The only real problem this game has is the occasional lagging frame rate which, although it doesn't hinder the gameplay that much and won't occur often, does indeed feel heavy in monster-filled areas. Despite this, the frame rate isn't significantly worse than in Breath of the Wild, and it's not even close to bringing down any of the other merits this game has.     This is one of the few open world games that justifies its immense size. Totk improves on botw in every possible way. Traversal is immensely fun and rewarding with the new ultra hand abilities and the added verticality with sky islands. Combat is more challenging than before, but most enemies drop materials that can be used to enhance equipment, making it always worth your time to bringThis is one of the few open world games that justifies its immense size. Side quests are absolutely everywhere, and all are interesting and unique. The story is much more compelling than before. Even the soundtrack is better and more varied than botw. Overall, there’s vastly more content and more to do in this sequel. It makes botw look like a tech demo.

    While this is the most fun I’ve had with a game in years, it’s not without its flaws. The UI is a bit clunky, especially when cycling through weapons mid-combat. Many of the shrines feel too short, too obvious, are empty “Raru’s Blessing” rewards, or are tutorials for mechanics that I learned 30 hours ago. I do miss the traditional Zelda dungeons of TP, WW, and SS, but I somewhat understand the need for more open dungeons in this game given the wealth of freedom granted by its mechanics. They could have taken away all of Link’s runes for a dungeon, but what fun is that? My last, and most forgivable, complaint is the game’s performance. The Switch is an outdated piece of hardware, and the way it struggles to run totk shows. But personally, the hiccups in fps didn’t bother me all that much. For others it certainly will: I’d recommend emulating the game at 60 fps.

    Tears of The Kingdom is not a perfect game, but it reaches closer to perfection than any other game that I’ve played to date. I’m currently 90 hours into the game, but I feel like I’ve only scratched the surface of what this game has to offer.    … Expand

    after years of waiting, this game does not disappoint one bit. the same world we saw in the previous entry is fresh with new stuff to do, and honestly feels completely different. the story is ramped up and is honestly the best Zelda story in my opinion. the art-style is fantastic, the sound design is excellent, the combat is amazing as ever, this game is the best game of all time!

The Legend of zelda: Tears of the kingdom, sin duda alguna es una gran secuela, respeta y guarda mecánicas del botw y hasta las mejora, además su mundo, ahora mas extenso te incita a perderte y explorar las bastas tierras de hyrule. También mejora otros aspectos como los jefes que sin duda alguna se nota que la gran N puso empeño y creatividad al diseñarlos, los nuevos monstruos también son algo digno de admirar pues también regresan algunas criaturas de juegos anteriores. Las nuevas habilidades de Link hace que puedas abrirte camino de infinitas maneras. Y la historia perfectamente es lo que mas destaca (desde mi punto de vista) pues tiene trama tan seria como la de Majora's mask y el desarrollo de personaje como Rauru, Sonnia, Ganondorf etc. Sin duda alguna dan a entender que este juego tiene muchas pero que muchísimas posibilidades de ganar el GOTY.… Expand

    I have played and loved so much breath of the wild, but tears of the kingdom are another level !
    The musics, the gameplay, the map, the story ! Botw looks like a beta version, the only thing I can criticize it’s like it’s not really user beginner friendly . But the game is incredible, I will absolutely not be surprised if totk is the game of the year.

The shrines now have many different ways of solving it, also you can use rocket shield to skip shrines very easily.     TOTK redefines the meaning of a perfect video game. Its predecessor, BOTW was for me the best single player game of all time until TOTK arrived. Both games are great, but TOTK somehow improves the perfect game and came to innovate with a massive map (explore skies, land and caves underground), new abilities and great puzzles.

    This is the biggest game I’ve ever played. (With the possible exception of Minecraft)
    If you like open world games then this will be awesome. Goty, definitely. The abilities in tears are a lot better than Breath, and the story is better to. This is awesome.

    I'm here after reading most of the bad review, been playing the game over 200hrs still very interested in the game.

    Reused material and BOTW DLC
    I don't think those people actually explore the map much, every side village have changed some finished building some need to rebuild. not to mention that BOTW doesn't even have caves its all empty mountain, IMO BOTW feels more empty after I play TOTK. and the depth and the sky Island its just fun.
    The Price
    nothing much to say around here, I think the game is worth the price.

    I only have fps drop when I use ultra hand to move around but tbh I rarely need to walk around with a ultra hand active.

    You can fix weapons and have New weapon gain from the depth So I think people just doesn't discover that they can do things like this, which is part of the gameplay to discover.

    If you are a sheep who can't do anything without a guide yes this game will get bored to you.

    Everything Breath of the Wild should have been. Easily my top 2 Zelda games ever. Tears of the Kingdom is right up there with Ocarina of Time.

    After playing Breath of the Wild, I thought there won't be a game that could be better than it. But, Tears of Kingdom did it!
    It gives players more exploration, more creativity and more imaginations. Everyone could find their own ways to play this game. Both the main plot and side-quests are lovely and remarkable.

    Breath of the wild, one of the best games, is already a 9/10. Then Totk came in and fixed all the mistakes and added tons of new bosses, enemies and more exploration. It's breath of the wild but everything is so much better, not even mentioning the amazing soundtrack, as well as the satisfying story and awesome new features. Easy 10/10 and one of the, if not the best game i have ever played!

Side quests are amazing and the exploration feels incredible as they have added sky islands and a whole Hyrule below the surface. Ultrahand, fuse, ascend, and rewind are all amazing. Especially ultrahand as your can create your own devices to aid you in battle, help you go places, etc. Fuse allows you to makeBreath of the Wild but ten times better. Map feels fresh and story is amazing. Side quests are amazing and the exploration feels incredible as they have added sky islands and a whole Hyrule below the surface. Ultrahand, fuse, ascend, and rewind are all amazing. Especially ultrahand as your can create your own devices to aid you in battle, help you go places, etc. Fuse allows you to make many combos in weapons, such as adding a mushroom to a stick, which made it bouncy. Ascend and rewind are straightforward, Ascend can allow you to teleport up on higher surfaces, which makes exploring a lot easier and less frustrating at some points. Rewind is kind of like stasis in Breath of the Wild, but instead of freezing time, it rewinds time. Tears of the Kingdom allows for limitless creativity and problem-solving. Every NPC feels real which makes the world feel alive. Every village in the game has a new thing to it (Rito Village has a snowstorm, Lurelin Village has been taken over by pirates.) The four dungeons in the game have been upgraded and are alot better than Breath of the Wild's divine beasts. The game is also a lot harder than Breath of the Wild, though once you play for a while and upgrade weapons and armor, it gets easier. The soundtrack is also amazing, it really hits the spot. Tears of the Kingdom is one of the greatest games ever made.… Expand

    Este juego es simplemente una maravilla, no voy a contaros todo porque para eso miren una reseña del BOTW pero si les voy a hablar de lo nuevo:
    -Historia decente para lo que es un Zelda.
    -Jefes mil veces mejores.
    -Pequeños eventos por el mapa que si has jugado al BOTW vas a flipar.
    -Diminutos detalles que hacen la experiencia de juego mil veces mejor (como el poder cambiarle la tela a la paravela)
    -Cientos y cientos de coleccionables (que quitando los postes del ayudante de Karid) se sienten mejor, con muchísimos nuevos kologs, una reinvención de la tienda de Kilton etc...

    ¿En general? Un f-ing GOTY of the year del año. Y a quien te diga que es un DLC coges, le enseñas los 2 nuevos mapas enteros, coges la tarjeta de juego y se la introduces en donde el sol no llega. 10/10    … Expand

    Just like that, Nintendo did it again. Leading up to release I never thought TOTK was going to be better than botw, but after 140 hours I can confidently say that TOTK is better than botw in every single way possible. Thank you Nintendo.

O jogo é incrível, Vaz tudo que seu antecessor fez, e sinceramente a maioria das coisas melhor, indico esse jogo pra 2 tipos de jogadores, fãs da franquia, e quem não jogou Zelda BOTW, já que mesmo melhorando tudo, é visível que a estrutura é a mesma, mesmo sistema de 4 masmorras, ir lá e livrar tribo x de um problema causado pela volta de ganon, existe problemas de performance e as texturas ficam borradas em alguns momentos do jogo, uma reclamação pra fazer são os sábios, já que a mecânica deles é bem quebrada, você constantemente ativa-os sem querer, colocar o mesmo botão pra ativar todos, não foi uma escolha tão inteligente e deveria ser melhorado futuramente, porem oque há de bom no jogo ? É totalmente livre, deixa você explorar do jeito que quiser, apesar das masmorras terem repetido o anterior, foram melhoradas, tendo visuais completamente diferentes, chefões totalmente diferentes, porem a resolução dos problemas são extremamente simples, já as side Quest, são muito divertidas e te dão boas recompensas, não terminei o jogo ainda, tenho 250 horas, e fiz aproximadamente 50%, amei cada segundo, os problemas nesse jogo são visíveis, e devem sim ser coitados, porem existe diversos pontos positivos, como por exemplo, a falta de loading ao descer do céu, ou descer para as profundezas, tocando no assunto, os céus e as profundezas foram adicionados, e fazem a exploração ser muito mais interessante, tem adições na superfície, além de diversos novos inimigos, como o horroblim, gleock, grande bokoblim, entre outros, as mecânicas desse jogo, são incríveis, o fuse, a ultrahand e o acend, fazem com que sua imaginação flua, e te dá diversas maneiras de resolver problemas, falando em resolução de problemas, os santuários, apesar de serem parecidos com o anterior, me pareceu uma maneira de incentivar o jogador a ser criativo, já que há diversas maneiras de resolvê-los graças as novas habilidades, você pode pensar que fez errado, mas não existe certo ou errado nesse jogo, sua criatividade diz oque fazer, e você faz, simplesmente maravilhoso, a história ficou muito mais interessante, e o final é emocionante a ponto de fazer qualquer casca grossa chorar que nem um bebê, esse jogo, faz o seu antecessor parecer uma versão beta, ou só um gostinho do que viria pela frente, já que esse jogo, faz com que você seja mais livre do que nunca, porem, mesmo com diversas melhorias, não poderia dar 10, ao menos, não com os problemas que citei, os gráficos não são tão importantes pra mim, mas a queda de FPS pode quebrar a imersão em alguns momentos, além de ser bem perceptível ao usar o ultrahand ou entrar em algum lugar muito pesado, mas mesmo sendo um problema grave, devo dar os parabéns a Nintendo por conseguir rodar esse jogo em um console tão ultrapassado. Minha conclusão é que, jogue, se você gostou do anterior este vai te deixar abismado, o jeito que tudo aqui é expandido, e simplesmente maravilhoso, o final é lindo o começo é lindo tudo aqui é lindo, pra quem realmente gosta de explorar, este jogo é um prato cheio, personagens incríveis, história melhorada, chefões visualmente impecáveis, e o jeito que esse jogo faz com que a experiência seja única pra cada pessoa, é simplesmente um jogo que facilmente entra na lista de melhores jogos já feitos, pelo menos essa é minha opinião!… Expand

For me it’s held back by the cumbersome archery UI where you pause the action to scroll through arrow fusions for several seconds each time you fire, and the awkward companion powers which are more finnicky to use since the require interacting with you companions themselves to activate.

    I loved BotW but this game is making BotW looking like a tech demo. I never saw so much creativity and so much wonder in a video game. The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom is one of the best games I've ever played and might be my pick for the game of the decade 2021-2030.

    Its crazy. You play 1 hour and you are like "yeah its great, improves what BotW did. Then u go to the first main point and realise you are playing something historic. Only Elden Ring made me feel this great, and Zelda is even better. Best game of the decade?

    Builds off the floor that Breath of the Wild established. It's still more of the same, and perhaps is TOO similar. A lot of verticality & depth to exploration, Definitely is just a fun sandbox that's slightly better than the predecessor, and really why I can't rate it higher is because it's nothing "new" but purely a more complete BotW.

    In the opening segments of this game, after dropping from the Great Sky Islands back to the familiarity of the vast green fields of Hyrule, I was hit with an unsettling feeling that ‘Tears of the Kingdom’ may not be unique enough to stand apart as its own unique experience from ‘Breath of the Wild’, and that much of this game may feel like retreading trodden ground.

    Fortunately however, as the game progressed it unveiled more and more of its secrets and sheer abundance of content, winning me over more and more with how much it develops and builds upon every single aspect of ‘Breath of the Wild’ to a staggering degree. My issues regarding its similarities to ‘Breath of the Wild’ quickly faded away, and in it’s wake I was left with a magical wonder and so many discoveries that I was wondering how the game could possibly just keep going.

    Wash away any reservations you have for ‘Tears of the Kingdom’, because this game delivers on every aspect you could hope for, once again delivering an all time great to a series that is chock full of them and another potential “Game of the decade” contender.

    The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has lived up to the high expectations created by the success of Breath of the Wild with its exquisitely intertwined gameplay systems, outstanding music, and a legendary story culminating in a magnificent denouement. It's not every day that such a special video game like this comes around. Truly the stuff of legend.
