Jan 19, 2019Rain World is an indie experience that does not try to hide its difficulty level but which will no doubt find plenty of fans warming up to its very well crafted world and art style. Its gameplay may feel frustrating at moments but Rain World is overall a very involving game that will get players to lock their attention on the game.

Dec 27, 2018This is a cold and loving game that is far more than most people realise. It is worthy of both your attention and your time. It thoroughly deserves this second chance and I hope that people make the most of it.

Dec 20, 2018It's combination of platforming and survival elements will keep those who aren't turned off by its challenge coming back for more as they chip away at the hours of content hidden away beneath the grime and dirt.

Jan 4, 2019Rain World does an excellent job in letting you know when the cycle ends, sometimes too much so as the game makes heavy use of the rumble function to let you know the end is nigh.
-
Jan 3, 2019For its beautiful presentation and for all of the ponderous ruminations about life that it might invoke within the player, it’s a crying shame that Rain World just doesn't feel very fun to play. While there is nothing wrong with sluggishness and weight as intentional designs, the options given to the player feel totally at odds with the sheer relentlessness and urgency of the systems at work.

Jan 17, 2019The main appeal I saw in Rain World was in its art style and the design of its enemies. Its mechanics need some fine tuning for it to be the masterpiece it has the potential to be. If you’re looking for a game that’ll really try your patience and give you a good challenge, then I’d absolutely recommend adding this to your library. Otherwise, I’d recommend you look elsewhere.

Jan 9, 2019One of the best games ever made.
There's nothing quite like it out there.
Just go and play it. -
Jan 8, 2019A masterpiece, nothing less. Give it the time and dig into the Rain World Wiki though, because there is almost no handholding provided in the game
