This game is definitely not my cup of tea: though I'll try to be fair because it is subjective. Rain World is an indie experience that does not try to hide its difficulty level but which will no doubt find plenty of fans warming up to its very well crafted world and art style. Its gameplay may feel frustrating at moments but Rain World is overall a very involving game that will get players to lock their attention on the game.

The main appeal I saw in Rain World was in its art style and the design of its enemies. Its mechanics need some fine tuning for it to be the masterpiece it has the potential to be. If you’re looking for a game that’ll really try your patience and give you a good challenge, then I’d absolutely recommend adding this to your library. Otherwise, I’d recommend you look elsewhere.

Rain World does an excellent job in letting you know when the cycle ends, sometimes too much so as the game makes heavy use of the rumble function to let you know the end is nigh.
