    Full of quirky characters and the convoluted cases to solve, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy is still a great visual novel adventure, and it's been thoroughly spruced up for modern consoles. It's not the most adventurous of remasters, but there's a real charm to these games that's great for newcomers as well as fans revisiting the series.

    The remastered games look great on a big-screen TV, but I highly recommend the Switch version. Ace Attorney was designed as a portable game, and it’s best experienced that way, as if you were playing through a great crime novel — one that involves ancient spirits, clueless judges, and a never-ending supply of inexplicable plot twists.

    Rest assured – these are a fantastic way to revisit familiar adventures for existing fans and a must-play in the genre for everybody else. At last, they’ve got a current release definitively worth bothering with.

This version gives access to 10 save slots, which is convenient.

    If you haven't played these games yet, I'd argue that this is the best way to do so. On Switch, you can play it both on TV and as a handheld game. If you're into story-driven games with mysteries to solve, I recommend the Ace Attorney series, and this is the perfect place to start.    … Full Review »

Solving mysteries in a courtroom setting is a genius idea for a game in my opinion. The characters are charming and the stories are intriguing and keep me on the edge of my seat. The games really test my intelligence with the mysteries. They remind me of these books called Encyclopedia Brown where you have to figure out mysteries too. As much as I love this series, I can't defend the fact that this version is nearly identical to the 3DS version and other versions of the game.
