Un gran juego, pero incomprensible que no este en espaƱol (dado que los anteriores si lo estaban) y en un juego con tanto texto se pierde mucho.

The storyline is very good, just I personally sometimes get a little tired after playing for a while as the only actions I can do is reading texts and clicking buttons

This review is mainly about the HD-update and not the three games as such. They are excellent story adventures with off-beat characters, quirky dialogues and gripping storylines. If you don't mind the slow pace and outdated presentation it's a joy to play the three Phoenix Wright adventures.

When it comes to the HD-update however there's not a lot that has been changed. Graphics are of course updated to present the games in a higher resolution and dialogues have been tweaked here and there. Now you can save the game at anytime and that's pretty much it. Not a lot of updates for a series that's almost twenty years old. Commuting between locations is as dull as ever and there are no shortcuts.

Maybe the biggest con for the Switch version is that it's the same, generic version as for any other system, meaning that touch controls are not supported. These games were a smash hit on the DS because this is a game that is practically begging for touch controls. For the Switch version however you're still bound to the button controls as with any other version. Regarding usability the DS-games are still the definitive versions and Phoenix Wright is all about usability as they are basically point-and-click adventures.

Even if the Switch version doesn't support touch controls the handheld mode is still the preferable way to play this game. The slow action doesn't translate that well to a large screen, but is ideal when you have the Switch in front of you. When you consider the Phoenix Wright trilogy as portable games there's definitely still a lot of fun to be had, despite the flatout rejection of Capcom the update the presentation and the missing touch controls.

To be fair, it was a good game indeed back that time. From today's perspective, however, game experience is not quite satisfying. You need to follow the exact route they gave you. You need to gather all evidence before processing to the next step, there is only one right answer for each questions, no voice-overs at all which makes me feel sleepy... After all, a good game worth a try, butTo be fair, it was a good game indeed back that time. From today's perspective, however, game experience is not quite satisfying. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy is perfectly at home on Nintendo Switch, its gameplay fun and engaging for players both new and old. Although it has one or two minor issues, the overall experience is one highly recommended to anyone looking for a new game (or three) to sink their teeth into.

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy brings three excellent classics from Capcom to the Switch and the games are highly recommended to those that have yet to play the series. The port itself could bring some improvements, therefore, long time fans might only be interested in this due to the convenience of replaying those classics in a modern platform.

Despite feeling that this was a bit of a missed opportunity, the Phoenix Wright Trilogy on the Switch has now become my recommended way to experience this classic story thanks to its various quality of life updates and solid price point.
