    It's Minecraft. On the Switch. If you like Minecraft, you'll like this. I used to play the pocket edition, but every time my phone got reset, I lost all my work. Now I have the switch version, no need to worry any more.

    I had so much fun with the Game. In local multiplayer or even alone on the go, it's still so much fun creating your worlds and exploring caves and dungeons. Event without mods, it's one of the best versions except the pc version.
    10 points with mod support.

    The Nintendo Switch version of Minecraft is the best version of this game there is. It's Survival mode is intense, the Creative mode allows you to use any resource to build anything you want, the Mini-Games are a nice little treat and the 4 player multiplayer support is awesome to have so people don't have to lug around their Switches.     I pretty much knew what to expect from this game when I bought it but I figured I would at least give it a try even though I already had the pc version. It definitely doesn't beat the pc but it is so much better than the pocket edition featured on phones. I was so happy with the controls and it is such a chill game that you can still talk to someone while playing

    Una adaptación del gran juego que es minecraft. No añade gran cosa, pero su jugabilidad en switch es excelente. Está bien que añada el pack de super mario. No tiene nada que destacar que no tengan las versiones de las otras consolas

    This game is great. We all know that. Whats remarkable is that they managed to make a decent switch version of it. Its not the best port but in the end i am happy that this is available for all switch players.

HD, portable, playable on TV, Nintendo themes, you really cannot beat this port of the game if you have to play it on PC. My only issue with the game comes in the wonky controls used in console ports, but that is an issue I have across all console ports of the game. It doesn't feel good to sprint, navigate menus, or even place objects, but nonetheless, Minecraft is a game that needs to be played by everyone young and old, and therefore this version must be played if you have no other (superior) way to play it.… Expand

    Minecraft has been an amazing game for years. The reason its so much fun and has been played almost non-stop since 2009 is because it has so many things to do. You can play through survival mode where you are free to explore these randomly-generated, one of a kind, infinite, sandbox worlds and must gather resources to build up your inventory.     Minecraft on the PC is way better. This version isn't too bad - but the multiplayer can be weird when it comes to local vs online connecting. While a bit buggy at times it can be frustrating to get everything settled again. Often times the second player controller glitches out and will not re-calibrate and requires a reload of the game. But all in all it's a good game to play with the kid.

    Minecraft is very cool on Nintendo Switch, also with crossplay and achievements on Xbox Live! It has dedicated servers, it has good graphics and few FPS drops. You can also download the graphics so that it consumes less battery.

It's more powerful (map is much larger) than on other portable devices such as iPad, PSV while it's portable and you can play it anywhere you want compared to the powerful consoles such as PC, Xbox and PS4.     I Havent touched Minecraft in a few years and always played it on PC. Ive just played it in the hotel on the bus , on the plane and now ive popped it into my 40 inch tv and can see my creations blown up and fully realized. Im not a massive fan of Nintendo but they have smashed it out of the ballpark with this machine. Its perfect for MInecraft.

    To make it short, its an awful port.

    It crashes, it freezes and its the only game that ever forced me to restart my device. After the initial loading is over you still have to wait for for your Microsoft Account to get synchronized, that's the point the game crashes most of the time... Sometimes parts of you World are not loading, when using a map the maps texture isn't loading etc.    To make it short, its an awful port.

    Oh and stupid me payed money for a realm, because you can't play on your own server, you have to rent one its called a Realm.
    And of course Realms are buggy too, often times I spawn dead, at the moment I can't connect to my realm, not with my switch nor with my PC.

    Forcing people to rent a bad server isn't enough, nooo you can buy skins and texture packs.    … Expand

    Minecraft is a good multiplayer game to play with the family. At first I was disappointed with the 720p resolution when docked, but this has been fixed. This game has one of the highest hours played across everyone in my household.

    It's Minecraft that's simple. With no mods the game really doesn't stay interesting for long. But the Mario pack is cute and fun but it's just vanilla Minecraft with a Mario pack

    unplayble mess, errors causing account wide bans, connection issues, Limited to 2gb of all forms. Unable to play with anyone else, had to delete all save files for an issue to be resolved just for the issue to happen not 30 minuets later.

    The amount of problems, bugs and glitches in this game is amazing. The game itself when it works, building etc is fine and i get why that is popular, but it can be a very frustrating game. Issues that are created on the designer's forum can stay for months or years unfixed. Like DLC that are bought, but don't work or only half work. For testing sake, i blew up 30 tnt stacked on top of each other under ground as soon as my world was created and the framerate from that point on dropped so low that whole world was ruined.

    How could the lazy developers at Mojang not port a low bit pixel game that was made by Notch from 13 years ago on a Nintendo Switch and have it run properly? If I was the chief at Mojang, I would fire anyone who worked on the Switch port. It is an embarrassment on the video game industry.

    This switch port should be recalled and Mojang should apologize. Do not buy it!

The way minecraft controls forces your hands to almost constantly being pushing the joycons out of place - for me, this happens at least 10 times per play session, and every single time it freezes the game.

    All these factors make the game way more frustrating to play then fun and make me wish I just had never bought it at all. This version is not worth it.    … Expand

    I don’t recommend getting the switch edition for Minecraft bedrock. Poor frame rate, lags almost all the time (even in minecraft servers, and the tittle screen… THE TITLE SCREEN), bad render distance, bad loading time, and bad shadows. The lag and frame rate was so bad that I have to put every setting to low so it wouldn’t make my game lag.

    This game on the Switch will suck you in for hours, with online play, local multiplayer, and solo play all being tons of fun, and having it on the Switch just means more places to play! However, the game can occasionally struggle with performance.

    Minecraft is simply a masterpiece no matter how you play it. It's certainly worth your time if you want to purchase it on Nintendo Switch. The only minor issue is the framerate at times. You can notice a little choppiness when the world is generating.

    While I would call the PC version to be the definitive version. The Switch version is not bad. Unfortunately until you can sustain yourself with things like food, diamonds and redstone "contraptions" the game isn't great, but stick with it and you won't be disappointed.

    It's good, the drawback is that you can play with only two Joy-Con not one, and moving the camera is annoying and impractical unlike the PS4 Edition, and might slip and freeze.

Creative is definitely my favourite way to play minecraft as its like lego with a fantasy edge and making maps is addicting.
