    Es un remaster que se ve y se juega genial. El original de Gamecube ya fue en su día un prodigio técnico y esta nueva versión hace honor al original. Juego a 60 frames estables que se ve genial hasta en modo portátil. Distintos tipos de control que se pueden elegir al gusto del usuario. Entre ellos el control original, uno basado a como era en Wii, un o mixto y por último uno moderno comoEs un remaster que se ve y se juega genial.     I've played all the metroid games & prime games. This is a true remaster, the graphics look absolutely beautiful, and the overall gameplay is phenomenal. Beings back so many memories of playing the first one, definitely a must have for anyone that's a fan of the series & new new fans as well.

    This is not a remaster this is a REMAKE. I'm literally shocked how this game looks on a switch even connected to a 65Oled screen. Retro Studios are without a doubt one of the best developers in the world, I don't think nobody will believe this is a switch game , definitely they did sort of black magic to make this happen at 60fps, simply stunning.

    This is an absolutely sublime remaster of a game that was already a masterpiece. The game runs flawlessly, looks incredible with the updated models and assets, and plays fantastic with a ton of various control options.     I've only ever seen Metroid Prime gameplay online, so when they announced this remaster and showed it off, I had to get it. After 100%ing the game, I can finally give thoughts. As one of the best looking Switch games, Metroid Prime Remastered improves on the already perfect original GameCube version. The visuals are on the same level as Monster Hunter Rise in terms of quality, the DualI've only ever seen Metroid Prime gameplay online, so when they announced this remaster and showed it off, I had to get it. After 100%ing the game, I can finally give thoughts. As one of the best looking Switch games, Metroid Prime Remastered improves on the already perfect original GameCube version. The visuals are on the same level as Monster Hunter Rise in terms of quality, the Dual Stick control scheme works great and anything altered is pretty incidental. This game sets a standard to how a remaster should be done. I wish they did more (the cutscenes aren't skipable weirdly), but as it stands, this game is a must-buy for everyone!… Expand

    Always wanted to play this growing up but never got around to it. Now I get to play it 20+ years later and it holds up great. If you have a Switch this game is a necessity.

    It's true that there are some annoyances to the original game, at least viewed through the lens of today's gaming (backtracking, scattered save spots). But when the game was already considered to be a masterpiece, it makes complete sense to keep it as is. The game carries over features from the Wii version such as casual mode, and motion controls (but this time optional). The extras and art gallery are also stellar. The graphics are the biggest upgrade though, looking clean and crisp on my 75-inch TV (which can be rare for Switch games), and not dropping a single frame. It is without a doubt the definitive version of the game, and at a reasonable price. This is how you do a remaster.    … Expand

    Beautiful amazing I first experienced this classic 16 years ago and it felt like the first time again just yesterday thank you retro studios you’ve found a way to make me love Metroid even more then I already did bravo.

    Bueno hace falta dar una opinión acerca de este juego, lo jugué en GC y WII es increíble independiente de si se ve mejor o no. Solo quiero decir que PIPEROS dan asco, son lo peor en el mundo de los videojuegos. Mejor vayan a ver su serie.

    This game is fantastic. 60fps dual analogue supper, gyro support if you prefer that, Wii style controls, whatever you want you get it. They gave tons of accessibility options, and they fully rebuilt and redid the assets, this is really more of a remake than a remaster. 10/10.

    Metroid Prime is already one of the best games of all time and they managed to upgrade all textures or redo all of them from scratch and it looks so beautiful. They also have added so many accessibility and control options that capsulates the modern feeling too. The price being 40$ instead of 60$ is just beautiful.
    Original metroid prime was 97 this game deserves even higher!!!

Nintendo and Retro Studios have not only succeeded in making the remaster look like a brand new game, they have fixed every complaint I already had about the original.     It's been so long since I first started the adventure in the Gamecube version. With the remaster I got a piece of childhood back and got goosebumps directly.

    It's just as captivating as it was then, but it seems like a dream. The graphic corresponds exactly to what was painted at the time. It’s absolutely fantastic, the game has got to be built from the ground up because the original graphics weren’t even a problem but these new ones are so clean and fit so well. I mean the game is in HD and has better audio. The game runs like a gem at a stable 60fps, which is getting to be rare now with Switch games. Plus the fact you get to control the game like anWhere do I even begin?     Amazing, atmospheric, a beautiful example of taking a 2D game into the third dimension. Visually, it flourishes with superb art direction, giving each area a unique colour pallet. Wonderful soundtrack, combining electronic synths with a choir to produce a resounding success!

    Its brilliance has not faded at all even after 20 years have passed

    A perfect remaster is close to a remake, leaving the original texture as it is,

This is probably the absolute best-looking game on the Switch so far--it's hard to believe it can run at a consistent 60 frames with the hardware it's on, and even harder to believe such a high-quality rework isn't priced at a full 60 dollars. The unbeatable atmosphere and attention to detail the original game is known for is onlyA nigh-perfect remaster to a nigh-perfect classic title. This is probably the absolute best-looking game on the Switch so far--it's hard to believe it can run at a consistent 60 frames with the hardware it's on, and even harder to believe such a high-quality rework isn't priced at a full 60 dollars. There are plenty of control schemes to choose from in this version, including a modern dual-stick FPS-style layout and the (admittedly clunky) original GameCube layout. Prime's only real flaw is probably the pointless and tedious collect-a-thon crammed into the end of the game, which is unfortunately still present here. The only gripes I have regarding the rework itself would be that it's a little too cartoonish for my taste in some areas (like the smoothed-out text font) and that the removal of the traveling light emissions from beam weapons does hurt immersion a little bit compared to the original version.… Expand

    Y acá en METACRITIC son muy lame rabos con SONY, ya sacaron a Metroid de la lista principal, no duró ni una semana, solo para meter cuatro títulos inferiores al Metroid, pero de PS5 porque supongo que habrá maletas o favores de por medio. Se les nota el sesgo contra Nintendo y el favoritismo con Sony.

    Retro Studios once again made it. The original on NGC was not only one of the best games on the system, but also one of the best ones ever. This total overhaul is even better. It feels great, looks beautiful, sounds incredible. This is a masterpiece and an example to follow when making remakes.

    Honestly thought this was going to be a simple upscaling and done. But nope you can tell they put care into this game to make sure everything just runs as best as possible. Never got to play Metroid Prime as a kid, parents wouldn’t get me a game cube. But as an adult who has been waiting for this games to come out. I could not be happier.

    I played Metroid Prime on the Gamecube and was looking forward to playing it again on the Nintendo Switch, but I was afraid of what this port would be like. Playing it with this remastering job was like receiving a gift. Simply fantastic remake.

    Visually, it's amazing! This is more of a remake than remaster in many ways. Modern twin stick controls, as well as the option for original controls. Looks & plays great on the Switch OLED. This is the definitive way to play this masterpiece!

    Finally a proper remaster, and of a great game at that. What could be improved was (graphics, minor QoL changes, UI) and what didn't to wasn't (gameplay, music). The fact that this runs 60fps on the switch is a technical achievement, it is simply the best looking switch game on the market at the time of this review.

    An absolute stunning display of the Nintendo Switches hidden potential. I was blown away by the visual clarity and Retro Studios ability to maintain that 60 frames per second we have come to love. This game is a true testament to the importance of taking the time to get things right. If this is the same team developing Prime 4 I think the Nintendo Switch easily has 2 more years.

    Los gráficos están bien chulooos y la banda sonora... hombreeeeee musicazaaaaaaa, vamooos la optimización y personalización de los mandos se la han rifado, sin bajones de frames todo fluido explotando los recursos de la consola de lo más top de switch. Pedazo de remaster, algo bien hecho, seas fan o no de la saga es una gozada.

    This game is just amazing, they really knocked it out of the park with the updated visuals. Simply one of, if not the best looking game on the switch. The gameplay still holds up to this day. This is my favorite video game of all time

I have every detail of the original GC Metroid Prime memorized, I know it like the back of my hand, and as a tradition I play it once a year from start to finish. That being said, the remaster perfectly captures the essence of the original game perfectly and I say that with no hyperbole. It doesn't drastically change the art style like most remakes, butThe game is absolutely fantastic. That being said, the remaster perfectly captures the essence of the original game perfectly and I say that with no hyperbole. It doesn't drastically change the art style like most remakes, but gives it a much needed face lift, so much so it actually shows the original Prime's age. The dual stick controls make it handle like a dream, and for purest who like the tank controls of the original, that is an option to play with, among other control styles like the Trilogy releases motion controls, or you can do hybrid controls for gyro aiming for those who want it. The game might be running on dated hardware at this point, but it's hard to tell with how fantastic this game looks, being visually on par with current day releases. It runs at 60 FPS and does not hiccup once during the entire run (Yes, this includes handheld mode), and load times are almost non-existent; with me only being able to count one loading screen ever in all three of my play throughs. The music is left totally untouched, just of a much higher quality, and some mixing issues were fixed so we can now hear the soundtrack as intended, sound design has seen some tweaks with added details.

    Metroid Prime Remastered sets a new standard for what a remaster should be. Granted, this will never replace the original for me, I will still play my old GC initial release for speedrunning, but if I just want to play Metroid Prime again? This is the version I will be playing for the foreseeable future. It just has so many improvements over the original that the tree things in this remaster that I dislike will come off as nitpicks. By the way, those two little gripes are the lack of holograms around Samus' boots when she obtains Space Jump, the mirrors in the Chozo Ruins don't reflect Samus, and Samus' face admittedly isn't a good look for her (at least in my opinion. She doesn't look bad, but she can look better). In conclusion, PLAY IT. You owe it to yourself if you love Metroid, if you love FPS games, if you love metroidvania's, or if you want a good time. This game really shows you what the Switch is really capable of when you have competent developers behind the wheel.

    Also, if you're looking to emulate the game on a Steam Deck, please support Retro Studios and buy the game and show Nintendo this is where the moneys at.    … Expand

    When I played this game 20 years ago, I knew I was playing something special. 20 years later, this masterful remaster proves Metroid Prime truly is one of the greatest of all time. You simply should not miss this if you appreciate the video game medium.

Most Games nowadays really struggle in performance or quality on the Nintendo Switch but not Metroid Prime Remastered. What every magic Retro Studios used shows us that it is possible to put a Game on the Nintendo Switch which feels like plays like butter. Not only did they design    Easily a 10/10.

Shadowdrop, fair and nice price and a game which is not a "HD Port" but a handcrafted masterpeace. Retro Studios once more showed that we can trust them in the Metroid Prime Series without a doubt.

    Never played any Metroid Prime before, and my first Metroid was Dread that I really enjoyed. Here I got the same vibes, the ambiant sounds and the musics are very good, the game is very good looking without suffering any fps drops, making it one of the best games the switch can give us, I watched videos of the original, when I see the difference, I easily understand why some doesn'tNever played any Metroid Prime before, and my first Metroid was Dread that I really enjoyed.     Amazing. Great intro which reminded me of super Metroid in every way, and beautiful visuals. The controls feel great on switch and the game is hard to put down. A must buy for anybody who enjoys games, especially this kind of game. It feels like Metroid‘s ocarina of time, in the best way possible.

    This game was already awesome in 2002, but with the updated graphics, physics, and control options, this has become the best way to experience this game! I don't know how Retro Studios handle to get this running on a Nintendo Switch.

    Metroid Prime on the Gamecube is my favorite game of all time, and one that I've beaten countless times. The remaster truly does it justice; what an awesome game to have on the switch. Here's hoping we get the same treatment for prime 2.

    the visual update is great for a switch game. its faithful yet still massive. still one of the best videogame soundtracks in history. appreciate the amount of control options and extras. what can be said about the general game? still a total masterpiece which everyone should experience.

    Mon premier Remake que je réussi à terminé. Je commence toujours les jeux remaster ou remake par pure nostalgie, mais sans jamais les finir. C'est impressionnant de se dire que ce gameplay était déjà celui de 2022 (tres legeres améliorations), on comprend mieux pourquoi le jeu a été un géant de l'époque.

    Metroid Prime is absolutely GOAT. This game is exactly what I wanted it to be. This remaster is how remasters should be made. It was a classic back then and it is still a classic now.

    Dear Nintendo, I'm no longer 17. Now I'm almost 37 years old and I could have a heart attack. Day one digital purchase and now I'm waiting for physical release just to be able to hold it during sleep.
    One of the few best games of all time served in the most beautiful remaster.
    I deeply thank you Nintendo & Retro Studios for this gift.

    What an amazing video game. 20+ years and Metroid Prime still holds up!! As a game it's super fun to shoot enemies and explore the world. And the remaster has upgraded the visuals beyond anything I've seen in a Switch game to date. This is the best looking game on Switch. The new controls and the ability to switch controls whenever is great as well. The music is perfect. And I can't forgetWhat an amazing video game. 20+ years and Metroid Prime still holds up!!     This is a top 10 game of all time and has been remastered beyond what I thought was possible on the Switch. So happy I can play it on a modern console with dual stick controls!

    Le travail est d'une qualité incroyable. Les jeux de lumières, les textures, les environnements ont entièrement été refaits. C'est la définition même de ce qu'est un remaster.

    Beaucoup de studio devraient s'en inspirer.

    One of the best games ever made, now even better! This remaster is maybe the best one out there, adding tons of new effects. This is how a remaster should be done.
    The gameplay remains the same as it is already perfect.

    Metroid Prime is still one of the greatest games I've ever played, and this remaster is no exception. Everything's been touched up faithfully to the original and improved in many ways to make playing on the Switch one of the best possible ways to experience this game, whether it be for the first time, or the hundredth time.

    You get to play again a game that back then and still considered a breakthrough in 2002 in the Metroid series departing from the 2D to a 3D world a beautiful achievement. Now that game is remastered for old and for the new players that has never played the Prime Trilogy. Highly recommended for those Switch players that couldn't get their hands on Callisto Protocol and Dead Space.

    Game makers: take note. Metroid Prime Remastered is a masterclass in how to modernize a masterpiece. Twenty years after the series made the transition to 3D, this remains a classic that has stood the test of time. The updated visuals prove that with some optimization and visual tricks, the Switch is really capable of delivering great games. In fact, this is one of prettier – if not the prettiest –Switch games to date.

    A classic returns in Metroid Prime Remastered. A complete visual overhaul makes the world of the game look better and more detailed than ever before. A new dual-stick control scheme makes the game approachable and palatable for new players, while veterans can opt for controls that mimic the original. Underneath it all, though, the masterpiece that is Metroid Prime Remains unchanged. Some more quality of life improvements could perhaps have been made, but it is a tiny complaint for a near-perfect remaster.
