It's pretty hard to find fault with League of Evil. Ratalaika Games have really demonstrated just how well a port of a mobile title can make use of the Switch. Noting that it's beautiful in handheld and on the silver screen, and factoring in the challenge and ability to keep players interested and focused on getting through the short burst levels, League of Evil won't be a game that you'll regret adding to your Switch collection.

League of Evil on Nintendo Switch is a savagely addictive, gleefully fun and at times brutally challenging platform game, with super tight controls, bold visuals and an accessible level editor that paves the way for a forever increasing Switch community to embrace. League of Evil feels perfectly suited to the big or small screen, and the bite-sized missions are great for any length of play session, be it solo, taking turns in a group, or just kicking back to make a level which will enrage your friends. While it may test some player's skill level and patience a little too much, persistence and determination are rewarded in a way only the best of the genre can.

It may to unfair judgement since its pixelated but I’ve had plenty of good atmospheres from pixelated games. The gameplay its pretty good though. It’s a good challenge but the level design is kinda boring. A pretty meh game. Full Review »

Fast paced and hard classic plateformer, the gameplay is super responsive and it feels great to control that tiny bit of pixels.
Although its graphics are pretty dull, any plateform lover will quickly forget about it and concentrate on the great challenge this game has to offer.
The big plus is the level editor, that is pretty easy to use on tablet mode, and the online sharing, that makes its replay value potentially unlimited.

    Pros:
    - Quick gameplay with nice double jump and kick/dash
    - Great challenge on the main campaign
    - Level editor and online level sharing

    Cons:
    - The graphics are not very appealing
    - More speedrun challenge with a millisecond timer and a fast restart button would have been a great plus
