This game features a simple to play style which means the game is very addictive and it always convinces you to have just one more go. There’s a nice amount of content available to you and the added bonus of a level editor present in the game means you get great value for your money. The controls hold up really well throughout your time with the game which is very important in a game like this because it keeps the frustration levels down. We’ve seen these types of game’s many times before and there isn’t really anything different present here.
The stage designs in the game lack in terms of variety and if played for long periods this can make things become a little tedious quite quickly. The game has quite a bit of content for you to get to grips with a few different modes would’ve been a nice addition. Simple game’s with simple ideas can often bring you a lot of joy because it’s nice to play a game sometimes that doesn’t bog you down in too many complicated situations. League of Evil is a game that offers you this type of experience and whilst it’s not perfect it still didn’t stop me from having that “one more go” feeling. The gameplay is simple to grasp but hard to master but it does ease you in gently so you do end up having more confidence when tackling the more difficult levels. Each level is pretty fun to get the end of but it would’ve been nice to have seen a little more variety placed into the levels though. That being said it wasn’t too much of a problem and you tend to forget about it eventually because you don’t really have that much time to think about it and the game has a generous amount of content for you to tackle. Recommending League of Evil isn’t difficult then because even though it has a few shortcomings it still offers you quite a bit of fun and plenty of bang for your buck.… Expand
