    Gems of War starts off as a fun and simple match-3 puzzle game with RPG elements, but a ridiculous difficulty spike and predatory micro-transactions will put most players off quickly.

    Great, no need to okay for anything. Lots of content. The RPG elements are deep and large. Very easy to learn.

The gameplay is addictive but also deep, there's plenty of different cards, classes, abilities, items and strategies to test out that takes match-3 and turns it up to 11. When I first started I was in awe of how much content there was and there's plenty of guides to help new players but over the last two years they've added a ridiculous amount of content. It's easy to start and easy to get lost in, highly recommend for fantasy fans as the team behind it also has a lot of the talent from the warlords and warlords battlecry/puzzle quest games.… Expand

    The game itself is not bad, the sound and music are nice, the graphics are ok, the gameplay is quite ok too. The problem I have with this game is the built in tutorial that forces you to spend whatever you gained on random crappy units or worthless upgrades, then happily proceeds to offers for 4.99 and more.
    The second problem is AI which is either extremely lucky or the game is rigged, so that they gain combos multiple times during one battle, and that's every battle I played so far. Most of the combos are in the top row, where new gems appear.
    After 4 days of Gameplay, I got just one ingot, which makes it very hard to upgrade weapons, especially that you need like 10 in order to go by one level.    … Expand
