Jan 28, 2018The gameplay was kept interesting and entertaining throughout, with every boss fight feeling fresh and none of them feeling like repeats.

Jan 16, 2018Furi is an excellent little game. With ten thrilling boss fights and excellent movement options, it is just a pure joy to play. The only real problem is that the experience is over before you know it. Sure, you can play it multiple times and get better, but there is some loss of the magic there. That initial thrill made me pumped to take on the next step, and see what journey had in store for me. The feeling when you overcome the odds is wonderful.

Jan 11, 2018As an example of boss fights at their finest, Furi is a great game. And when it was over, I felt like I’d achieved something, even on easy mode. I suppose the reason I’m a little disappointed in the game is that it left me wanting more and that’s a good thing. Furi is out today, January 11th, on Nintendo Switch. If you’ve yet to play it elsewhere and love the premise, give it a look.

Feb 7, 2018At some times, Furi seems to cross the line of what you consider a fun and fair challenge. Even so, it creates a restless atmosphere with its intriguing narrative, electrified soundtrack and mixture of hack n’ slash and bullet hell boss-rush gameplay.
-
Jan 24, 2018Furi delivers an intense, hardcore action experience packed with challenging boss fights and a fascinating narrative.
-
Jan 19, 2018A fantastic genre mash-up between hack and slash, boss rush and twin-stick bullet hell shooters, Furi is as unique a blend now as it was in 2016. It fits effortlessly onto the Nintendo Switch, but it’s a game that is waiting to challenge you and worth testing yourself against on other platforms.
-
Jan 11, 2018Furi for the Nintendo Switch delivers the same experience as the rest of the platforms, offering fast and demanding action, a killer soundtrack and an oniric atmosphere with great character designs.
-
Jan 11, 2018Furi is still awesome on Nintendo Switch. You might be better play with a controller, though.
-
Jan 15, 2018It has been ace playing Furi on the Switch and while the port isn’t perfect, Furi on Switch is a great way to experience the game.
-
Jan 17, 2018Furi looks gorgeous and runs well on the Switch, but its unforgiving gameplay may be too much for some. The gameplay can become frustrating and monotonous, but anyone who's willing to be challenged will be thoroughly entertained with Furi.
-
Jan 12, 2018It's a good port with the same experience. Nice music, fantastic art design and throbbing gameplay. The walking simulator part is the only bad thing within the game.
-
Jan 12, 2018It has a few problems, but if you're looking for a sharp action game with plenty of challenge, Furi is for you.
-
Jan 11, 2018Furi's series of dauntingly challenging boss fights are capable of turning all but the most committed of player into a gibbering wreck. It's a deceptively clever game that combines shooter and and beat-'em-up mechanics, all wrapped up in a stylish anime-influenced shell. It's not for everyone, with numerous difficulty spikes and an over-reliance on repetition. But it's refreshing to see a game rewards patient observation and persistence, as well as mastery of a carefully calibrated control system.
-
Jan 25, 2018Furi is a great mix of hack and slash with a bullet hell. Where the game performs really great on the action level, the game misses the mark when things get quiet. Still it is a very enjoyable game, but it has its flaws.
-
Jan 22, 2018Thanks to its well crafted gameplay and a high quality visual environment, Furi will certainly please veteran fans of more old-school styles of play. Where it fells short is when it come to its difficulty level, which often feels too frustrating and its lifespan, which turns out to be too short.
-
Jan 11, 2018If you want a minimalist, reaction-based action game with style and a kick-ass soundtrack, go for it. If like me you equate playing a game to reading a good book, then it's definitely not for you.
