    There is no skill in this game its whoever can spend the most and gets lucky and what makes it worse is that its the same game each year except they add more scummy micro transactions

    Im really sad about this version of fifa. It’s worse than fifa 15, Engine is about 3 years out of date. Huge input lag with players sometimes not even working. FUT is completely dead. 30k transfers at peak time. Hardly find a game with the online play and when i do it is lagging like hell.

    I suspect the positive reviews are largely due to the fact that Nintendo owners finally, after a long wait, have a football game. Now, whether they have an alternate console (PS4 or XBOX) one cant say *but* if they did and they've owned previous iterations of this game then they'd know what utter tripe this game is. EA have taken an already terrible game and put it on the Switch - they'veI suspect the positive reviews are largely due to the fact that Nintendo owners finally, after a long wait, have a football game. Now, whether they have an alternate console (PS4 or XBOX) one cant say *but* if they did and they've owned previous iterations of this game then they'd know what utter tripe this game is. EA have taken an already terrible game and put it on the Switch - they've essentially doubled down on 'terrible'. The scripting is there, the retarded AI is there..it's all there. Let us be honest, the only reason people buy FIFA instead of PES (the last word in football games i might add) is because of the player/club licenses and because EA has the marketing clout to put itself everywhere. Buy PES, and download the team packs...and save yourself the frustration.… Expand

    Que el juego se pueda llevar a cualquier parte no podemos usarlo para valorar el juego ya que esa característica la aporta la videoconsola, no el videojuego.

    Un juego resultón de la anterior generación con muchas carencias. Le faltan modos, gráficamente no está a la altura de Nintendo Switch, tiene algunos bugs, no se puede jugar online con con tus amigos...     Tiene el aspecto de ser un juego hecho rápido y corriendo para salir del paso y vender algo. Para los usuarios de Nintendo menos exigentes que no hayan jugado a otros juegos de fútbol con anterioridad puede ser que el juego les agrade pero como ya he dicho es un juego resultón pero con muchas carencias.
    Los usuarios de Nintendo más exigentes verán en este juego una auténtico insulto por parte de EA tanto a los usuarios como a Nintendo Switch como a la propia Nintendo.    … Expand

    I have been buying ever FIFA game for the last decade or so. This year, I decided to go with the switch version, because I already had a FIFA game on every other platform I owned.

    However, the switch version disappointed me. There are a lot more features missing than I realized at first. No Journey, no Squad Battles, no Pro Clubs, no Leveling Up Rewards, and more. That the graphics    I have been buying ever FIFA game for the last decade or so. This year, I decided to go with the switch version, because I already had a FIFA game on every other platform I owned.

    However, the switch version disappointed me. There are a lot more features missing than I realized at first. No Journey, no Squad Battles, no Pro Clubs, no Leveling Up Rewards, and more. That the graphics would be turned down was to be expected. But I did not expect the game to come with bugs (like pause timers being permanently stuck on the screen after continuing play). Also, there was little effort to adapt the UI to the Switch, some text is barely readable in handheld mode.

    Than there's the gameplay. I am not sure how much it differs from the other platforms, but this year's FIFA has to be the least enjoyable so far. It feels like the direction the series has taken in the last couple years did not really contribute much to fun (for me at least), and this game reached a point where playing the game is downright frustrating.    … Expand

    I signed up to Metacritic only to tell people not to buy this game. It's a lazy, poor version with lots of cons (gamplay, AI, modes, outdated) and very few pros (portability).

    A 1 because they took one minute to copy and paste the same garbage from last year and that deserves a 1 for the hard work. EA is a cash grabing, greedy and anti consumer company. This game shows how little they care for the players. Stay away from this excuse of a game on all consoles.

    Obviously EA does not know soccer at all. They don't watch the European games. They don't get to know the essence of soccer. EA tries to make all the superficial visual effects looking good but they lack the understanding of real soccer. the AI reacts ridiculously all the time, making the game hilarious. real soccer gamers know that PES is definitely superior soccer game even though theyObviously EA does not know soccer at all.     This is not one of the worst games on the switch, but it is way below average for me. If your a fan of the Fifa games I would recommend you get it on a different platform unless you love the Switch's portability. The switch is still lacking a voice chat and the games resolution is much lower compared to the other consoles versions. You are also lacking some modes in this version.     Bueno si ya me habia quejado de la version de entregas normales esta es una basura total todos los errores del fifa 18 en otras plataformas y encima menos contenido nos vamos quitan 1/4 del contenido de los otros fifas y solo nos cobran 10$ menos una basura total

    This is FIFA 17 light. With less visual power, reduced modes and less impressive mechanics compared to its name sharing siblings this is a downgrade with a hefty price tag.

    The Switch version of FIFA 18 is a better portable experience than you've been able to get on Nintendo consoles up to this point, but it's hampered by Nintendo's insufficient online strategy. Unlike some previous EA Sports titles on Nintendo platforms, FIFA 18 isn't an ill-formed castoff, but it's an uneven performance and not a clear-cut victory.
