    I like Doom a lot, this patched version on Switch works very well. In my opinion the controls are not easy to handle when playing in portable mode. I can only play this docked and survive. I would like cheats to be added to make the game more fun.

    Uno de los mejores juegos del cátalogo de Switch sin duda. Lleno de acción frenética, exploración, coleccionables, opciones de mejora de armas y habilidades con secciones retro por descubrir. No soy muy fan de los Shooters en primera persona, pero DOOM me enamoró.

    Lo Bueno: - Excelente Gameplay - El uso del giroscopio enriquece la experiencia. - Muchos secretos por descubrir. -    Uno de los mejores juegos del cátalogo de Switch sin duda. Lleno de acción frenética, exploración, coleccionables, opciones de mejora de armas y habilidades con secciones retro por descubrir. No soy muy fan de los Shooters en primera persona, pero DOOM me enamoró.

    This game is true to the Doom franchise. Somehow killing Demons in space is just always exciting. Oh and it's portable; bonus!

    The game play is fast paced most of the time. Battles are engaging and challenging. The music is excellent and is there when it should be and isn't there when it shouldn't be. Weapon progression feels right.

    Amazing game!!!! If you never played any doom games then dont worry you will have time for that later, but make sure you play this.

    Natürlich ist jetzt alles außer Kontrolle, ja, aber es war das Risiko wert, das versichere ich dir. Ich bin endlich frei, bester Soundtrack auf der Switch.

    I'm amazed that this game can run on the Switch. Nothing like slaugthering demons on the go can get any better than this.

    Some of challenges become inhuman with directing with joysticks with a such huge blind zone which makes accurate aiming impossible. I tried to move cross-hair really slightly, but at first I got no reaction from joystick movement and after the blind zone is finished cross-hair moved too fast and i couldn't control it. Such big blind zones totally suck.     The best First Person Shooter for the Switch. This port is really impressive. The game is 30 fps and it almost never goes below that. The game is a bit blurry however, but perfectly playable. Panic button did a great job with this port. I wonder how they're gonna port Doom Eternal to the Switch.

    Both the campaign and multiplayer are really fun, and it runs perfectly on Switch. The only thing i didn’t like was arcade mode. I think a survival mode similar to cod zombies but with demons would have been a better idea. Anyways, DOOM is a 10/10 game!

The most noticeable difference for those who have already played the original is that the framerate is slashed form 60 to 30 fps, obviously this means you won't get the same silky smooth gameplay you would on the other platforms, but the good news is that the 30fps on Switch are pretty damn consistent and the gameplay is still as fun as ever with only a few very specific spots in the game causing some very noticeable frame drops and slowdowns. Outside of the fps drop, many of the textures have been downgraded and the resolution has been lowered, though on handheld the corner-cutting in these areas is a lot less noticeable and the overall effect is a version of Doom that does a fantastic job of looking and playing very close to the og versions. With fantastic level and enemy encounter design, great pacing with some exploration and item collection thrown in to pepper the phenomenal core combat, one of the best most original soundtracks in a long time, portability, and 100s of hours of gameplay for those wanting to chase high scores and replay on the highest difficulty settings, this game is an absolute classic. Add in the fact the physical version is somewhat rare with fantastic cover art different from the other versions, and on top of a fantastic game you are probably talking about a future valuable collection piece, so if you have the chance to buy it physical definitely go for it, though regardless of how you buy this game, the one certainty is that if you own a Switch and have any interest in action games or shooters, this game is a must buy.… Expand

    me quedo con la version de nintendo, ya que ADEMAS de que se ve impresionante, ES PORTATIL

    en XBOX se ve el doble de mejor

    y en PLAYSTATION me saca del juego y se apaga la consola

    Great combat but the levels are way too repetitive and bland. The whole Mars atmosphere gets really dull on the eyes after a while.

    doom un clasico first person shooter ha llegado a nintendo switch y valla el juego corre demasiado bien en la hybrida de nintendo digo no como en ps4 pero es aceptable tanto como en portatil como en el modo televisión una buena opción para los usuarios de switch

    el juego me encanto aunque veo que le tiran odio por el año que lanzo ,precio , la plataforma y las modificaciones tecnicas que le hicieron, pero para mi valio la pena , el bajo de fps y la resolucion si afecto un poco pero hay que tomar en cuenta que el juego esta porteado a una consola inferior a ps4 xbox one y pc y llego un poco tarde lanzandoce 1 año despues ,pero valio la penael juego me encanto aunque veo que le tiran odio por el año que lanzo ,precio , la plataforma y las modificaciones tecnicas que le hicieron, pero para mi valio la pena , el bajo de fps y la resolucion si afecto un poco pero hay que tomar en cuenta que el juego esta porteado a una consola inferior a ps4 xbox one y pc y llego un poco tarde lanzandoce 1 año despues ,pero valio la pena llevarlo portatil es genial jugarlo en todas partes y el esfuerzo que pusieron en el juego en la version de nintendo es de valorar y no arruina la experiencia de juego… Expand

    Es un excelente FPS, a pesar de las limitaciones técnicas lo hace muy bien en Nintendo Switch brindando una nueva opción para jugar este juegazo.

    i liked the game enough on PlayStation to buy it on the switch, off the bat, I knew the graphics were gonna be worse, , but it looks pretty good, but that's not why this should play this port, you need to play it for the motion aiming, it's way too much fun, that I completed this port instead of the ps4 version, if you don't have this game get it, if you do have it, play with motion aiming

    Ein sehr chaotisches und brutales Spiel, das eine verdammte Geschichte erzählt und randaliert, und ich respektiere es dafür, das Gameplay ist so eng und macht Spaß. Es ist auch sehr beeindruckend, wie gut das auf einer Switch funktioniert, und der Verlust des Multiplayers stört mich nicht

    The dead zone is set so high on the joysticks that I feel like I'm playing with an old overused N64 controller.
    I need to push the Pro Controller joystick something like 50% out before the character even starts moving.

    The most metal and amazing fps i've ever played, and I suck at fps. Does a great job at making you really feel like the doom slayer, mythical slayer of demons.

Runs very Smooth, Controls Excellently, and is Great Fun. For those looking for a Great FPS Campaign to play on Switch this is the best there is. The Visuals again though, my god, it looks like I'm playing a PlayStation 4 Title inGraphically the best looking Game in the Console Most Likely.     Great game. I play this often although its been out for a few years, i still have a blast with the Switch Version. On the go or docked it plays nice and smooth. Hard to believe its on a Hybrid system looking as good as it does (a tiny bit of blur in some spots). Panic Button nailed it. Great job guys

    This port by Panic Button is almost flawless. Bummer that SnapMap has been cut from this version. Gyro controls are awesome to the point they can rival mouse and keyboard.

    HELL. YES!
    While the graphics are downgraded for the Switch, it doesn't matter. The graphics are fine on the small screen and it plays perfectly. Having a handheld version of Doom is 100% worth it!

So much fun, the music slaps and the minigames are amazing, Mario's costume design is different to usual, but the change is welcome. Mario with a chainsaw slicing monsters is a very cool take on the character and I can't wait to see what changes Nintendo make to his character in the future.… Expand

    De los mejores juegos que he jugado en switch, la sensibilidad llega a molestar. Las secciones de exploración se solapan muy bien con los tiros. No se olvida de su objetivo, pum pum. Simplemente maravilloso y desestresante

    This game is incredibly impressive to play on the Switch. Panic Button did well with this port. Despite the quality and the fps downgraded, it still retained what made this game fun to play. I wish Panic Button would port more of Bethesda's bigger titles.

    The game, the legend, the miracle.
    The first of a great list of impossible ports. It's the Doom 2016 experience to go. Feels great to play it whenever and wherever you want, it runs at satisfying 30 fps and looks also good with the appropiate sacrifices in textures

    The port is seriously impressive, and the game is good too. It's an adrenaline rush that revitalizes the Doom franchise in a modern fashion, while having some great nods to the originals.

    Rejoguei, e é melhor do que eu me lembrava, coloquei no modo pesadelo, morri um monte de vezes, mas foi super divertido, história é legal, complementada em sua continuação, desing de demônios excepcional, mancubus, spider mastermind cacodemon,Lost soul, cyberdemon e diversos outros visuais completamente incríveis, trás abilidades novas pro Slayer, como sobreviver a um hit que te mataria eRejoguei, e é melhor do que eu me lembrava, coloquei no modo pesadelo, morri um monte de vezes, mas foi super divertido, história é legal, complementada em sua continuação, desing de demônios excepcional, mancubus, spider mastermind cacodemon,Lost soul, cyberdemon e diversos outros visuais completamente incríveis, trás abilidades novas pro Slayer, como sobreviver a um hit que te mataria e logo em seguida parar o tempo, maior agilidade no pulo duplo, etc. Doom 2016, é uma ótima experiência pra quem é fã da franquia e também aqueles que teram seu primeiro contato com a série de jogos(meu caso), se por acaso jogou apenas esse, recomendo jogar os antigos, são tão incríveis quanto, e claro são super importantes, principalmente o primeiro, que foi um jogo revolucionário pra época, os gráficos não são um problema na versão do switch, eu achei um jogo bonito e uma experiência que valeu apena!!! Esse jogo só não é um fps nota 10, porque a história não é algo tão incrível, já que você tem que pegar coletáveis no mapa que te contaram os acontecimentos antes do jogo, mas não é um ponto tão ruim, só algo que pode atrapalhar alguém que pegue o jogo achando que vai ser uma super narrativa, não tem uma história espetacular, mas é aceitável. Talvez tive problemas com FPS em algum momento do jogo, mas não foi algo que estraga a experiência ou nada do tipo. Recomendo pra um público que não se importa com gore, já que tem muito desmantelamento, e cenas viscerais, e pra quem gosta de um bom jogo FPS.… Expand

    Technically this port is so impressive that sometimes it’s hard to believe it actually exists. It’s the game itself that I have some issues with, as in my opinion its campaign is encumbered by elements that sometimes unnecessarily slow down Doom’s fantastic pace. [01/2018, p.53]

    It’s not a perfect port. For those looking to play DOOM purely on the big screen, the Switch version’s janky visuals make it difficult to recommend. Yet, if you’re looking for a portable version of one of the best shooters in recent memory, DOOM thoroughly deserves to be the blood-soaked outlier lurking in your Switch library.
