60$ for a 1 year old game that you can get for less than 10$ on ANY other platform, and get a much better version of it?! Are you serious Bethesda?! **** off!

I love the denial that people are in here. This game is meant to played on a PC, if you want it on the go... use a laptop, just about any will do for the visuals this outputs on the Switch, and you will still have plenty of battery life after an hour of play and a bunch of space on that HD. I can get the same game cheaper from PS4 for better image and much better frame rates.
it a waste of money to have this one.
Maybe some updates can fix the problems.

One of the worst playing experience for me, the controls are horrible. Repetitive gameplay, and a bad game overall in my opinion.

The dead zone is set so high on the joysticks that I feel like I'm playing with an old overused N64 controller.
I need to push the Pro Controller joystick something like 50% out before the character even starts moving.

This is the game I was expecting back in November. Now I can finally recommend DOOM to friends without having to append a mountain of caveats! [Issue #33 – May/June 2018, p. 74]

Technically this port is so impressive that sometimes it’s hard to believe it actually exists. It’s the game itself that I have some issues with, as in my opinion its campaign is encumbered by elements that sometimes unnecessarily slow down Doom’s fantastic pace. [01/2018, p.53]

It’s not a perfect port. For those looking to play DOOM purely on the big screen, the Switch version’s janky visuals make it difficult to recommend. Yet, if you’re looking for a portable version of one of the best shooters in recent memory, DOOM thoroughly deserves to be the blood-soaked outlier lurking in your Switch library.
